I stayed two nights at this hotel for the first time and did have to pay $20 amenities fee per night. I booked through a third party so I wasn't aware. I asked for my room to be cleaned the following morning (was told it's per request). Later that night when I arrived it had not been cleaned so I called front desk to at least get me clean towels. I was told they had no housekeeping at the time but front desk came up to bring towels. Overall the stay wasn't bad but I won't be staying again. If they are going to charge amenities fee they need to offer 5 star service and they don't.

I stayed here two nights. Charged me an additional $20 each day for an adult beverage, water bottle, etc. Never received or was offered any of those things. They neglected to provide them, yet they made sure I was charged the extra $40. Beware.

This was a very good choice of a hotel in 2015... Now it's gone down the drain, literally!!!
Rooms: The rooms are old damp and dirty
Nearby activities: There are a few nearby activities to consider, such as the mini gulf, the Hinkle Fun Center, and some malls and restaurants nearby.
Safety: Would not consider this a safe place you must be wary and vigilant staying here
Walkability: Not walkable
Food & drinks: Food at their Garduños restaurant is bland at best
Noteworthy details: You should look at the fine print. This hotel charges an OBLIGATED ammenity fee of $20 dollars for no reason but to according to the hotel so that you may consme their alcohol In my opinion this is ripe for a class action lawsuit or not to use this hotel at all.

Housekeeping was very spotty. The trash was only taken out two days and there was no evidence they came at all the last day, which was probably why I ran out of toilet paper. When I went to get toilet paper from the front desk, I was given tp that did not go on the dispenser, so I had to have it sitting on the floor or the back of the toilet. The towels were scratchy and needed to be replaced, which I don't expect from the price point of the hotel. The pool towels were much more what I expected. As someone who is tall, I get frustrated by shower heads that I have to lean over to wash my hair. I also think that the shower would benefit from a curtain rod that bows out like I have had at other hotels. I realize that amenities fees are becoming standard, but I find them deceptive since they are required. Please just include them in the price.
I did find the people at the desk to be very friendly and helpful. In particular, on Sunday evening when I checked in there was no ice bucket in the room. One of the men (the one without a beard) not only found me an ice bucket, but filled it with ice for me.
There is great potential in Nativo. But my visit did not match what I paid for the room, especially since it was on the ground floor.

Honestly, my stay at The Nativo Lodge was one of the absolute best hotel experiences I have ever had (and I travel a lot)! Phenomenal customer service, very clean, the restaurant in the hotel is delicious, the pool has such a cool setup, and the artwork in the rooms/ venue is truly awe inspiring. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars easily!
Rooms: The artwork is incredible and makes for an cultured experience.
Nearby activities: There are tons of activities that are close by. Top Golf, Cliffs Amusement Park, Local Breweries, The International Balloon Fiesta Park is within 5 minutes, and the mountain view is breathtaking.
Food & drinks: Garduños is the restaurant within the hotel and everything on the menu is sensationally delicious! Authentic New Mexican food.

*** update
You have not tried to contact me in no way nor did you offer another room I have all texts proving you did not offer another room we would have changed rooms in a heartbeat it was the worst stay ever to post on here saying you have tried to contact me and I don't answer is a flat out lie I would love to get a refund for my stay in your non air-conditioned nasty room........... People read reviews before you stay here!!!!!
We stayed at the Nativo this weekend checked in May 18 checked out by 8:45am the 19th First off the Hotel looks appealing from pictures posted on their Web sight but it is far from that once you get into your room it is dirty and very dated the laminate on where the TV sits was coming off (I have pictures) there is mold in the bathrooms (pictures) the carpets are nasty the AC in our room did not work there is no phone in your room to call front desk so you have to Google the hotel number to call front desk which front desk never answered so I got a text message when I checked in so i figured id text that which at 1am i believe ( have messages saved if you need proof) finally front desk text back saying they were busy and couldnt answer the phone so i told them about AC and he/she said someone could be there at 8am to look at it we had the worst night ever i even text if they at least had a fan which responded no so we slept with the balcany door open bugs flying in asked to get switched to a different room they said all they had was king but never switched us so didn't sleep went to my daughters graduation exhausted nobody showed up at 8am to even look at the AC like they said (have text of them saying someone would come at 8) they honestly don't even deserve the 1 star the amount they charge for a room you could stay at a better location again their pictures on their sight show a different sight to what your actually staying in we have stayed here before few yrs back and loved it that's why my family rented again because we thought it be the same but no it is horribly run down and dated... Staff offered to give back the amenities fee that's all we got back also we do not drink alcohol so to charge and offer alcohol is sad But the management probably offers the alcohol so you don't realize how terrible this place is but your paying an extra 20$ for what???? So when you complaine about your stay they offer it back to you sad also was told I can leave my number and the general manager may or may not call back which is another joke!!! I told the girl on the phone if she rented a room they would expect a good experience and also working AC correct and if she stayed there or any other establishment she knows that and for the amount paid should get what is said and if she stayed somewhere wouldnt she want to be compensated back if she stayed in a room without AC.... Overall it's sad that I have to write a review to get the attention of the general management....
Rooms: Nasty, dirty, broken AC, no ironing board, dog barking all night, very dated, the rooms they post on their sight are not what you get...

The bathroom door hit the toilet the hotel is nice but come on now that's some really poor architecture or they upgraded the toilet to where it was the handicap accessible one and that was longer and the door would swing and hit

Horrible, rude staff, I will never rent a room in that hotel again.
Noteworthy details: I liked coming when spending time at the pool. From today I will never return, the staff is very rude and they charge more than they say.

Nativo is one of my favorite hotels. Not your run of the mill lodging places. Restaurant provides excellent service and delicious food. Housekeeping staff is excellent.

Mid quality hotel. Kinda lame they charge you $20 extra for WiFi. Terrible cable options with no guide. Just flipping channels like it’s 1990. It Wes clean but out of date. Next day got a room at a quality inn for cheaper and more modern room.
