My first experience at montez was so-so. I left a review and the owner Matthew contacted me. He made everything right and was absolutely amazing. I will be a return customer I highly recommend Monte's cigars and tobacco. Amazing selection of pipes, great tobacco's, and I look forward to using their cigar lounge one day. It was my first time at Montes since moving here from Utah. The Humidor was amazing with a lot of familiar brands but other cigar brands that were new to me. I was like a kid in a candy store. The service was impeccable and the club had all the amenities stacked. I WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!!!

This was a experience for me as I am not a smoker but I had a friend visiting that really wanted to find some nice cigars... The gentleman who ran the shop was kind and we found a lot of high end choices, even though my friend purchased a full unopened box of mid priced cigars, they didn't want to give us a box. Very odd. (How very kind of you to reply to me and offer clear up any confusion about it. It's a very reasonable explanation of why we weren't able to keep the box and I appreciate if that was the case, we probably should have been informed of that. I was interested in purchasing one of those other boxes at the front counter, but since the other box was kept it seemed like a bad idea. The next time I find myself in the company of someone in need of cigars and fine tobacco, I will recommend ,or come back in to your shop. )

Great shop. I went in and the gentleman working the desk was very friendly and took the time to help me find a few quality “beginner” cigars. Will definitely be back next time I’m in ABQ.

Traveling for work and not knowing people or where to have a cigar is rough for me. I went to Monte's and was amazed at the size of the humidor . Great service and always a welcome in when I arrive. Going to the lounge, I was quickly greeted and welcomed to join in on the conversation and comrade. It is my daily cigar stop while it town.
