Breg was beyond a blessing on our trip to Albuquerque! Our daughter fractured her patella while already being in a boot on the other leg. We called Breg because the ER did not have the proper brace for her (she is 8), so we needed a proper patella stabilizer to keep her safe until we got back to AZ to see her orthopedic specialist. When I called, the woman was so kind and not only let me know they could get her fitted right away, but she also referred me to an excellent place where I found the transport chair I needed. My daughter got her wheels and then we went to Breg for a fitting and left with a proper stabilizer so we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip with a stabilized leg! The woman was also SO kind to my daughter ❤️We were all beyond grateful!

On 6/2/2022 I went to this clinic for a back brace and Mandy Chavez (orthotics fitter) explained why their braces would not work and that I needed a special handmade brace and informed me where to go.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!It’s no surprise that this place has 2 stars I’m surprised it has any!!! Had an issue many years back where they told my wife who was on Medicaid at the time that there was no out of pocket for her which we knew because my wife works in the medical field. Few weeks later we receive a bill from them which is called balance billing and is highly illegal to do to a Medicaid patient and it went to collections. Fast forward 10 years we decide to try them For a back brace I needed but while in the office they told me it would be $400.00 out of pocket so I walked out. Then a couple years later we go back to get a walking boot from them that I needed, they are 50 bucks on Amazon but if my insurance can pay for it why not. I went in and I asked the lady please make sure there will be no out of pocket I waited a half hour for them to check they came back and said there would be zero out of pocket so I got the boot. Few weeks later I receive a bill for 200.00 for a boot I could have gotten for 50. So I called them the lady that answered could barely speak English and was super rude and would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. When I said I wouldn’t pay she laughed at me and said “It will go to collections but you probably don’t care about that either”. It amazes me that such a thieving company is allowed to operate!

Just received a $230 bill from Breg for a $23 wrist brace. I’m still in disbelief of this scam. These guys are such crooks. I urge everyone to avoid Breg and boycott their crooked business.

Knee brace was 4 times the cost of the same brace I found elsewhere. Not only that, it would not stay put. It keeps slipping down my leg.

Very quick, quiet, and clean. The man who fit my brace was very professional both on the phone and in person. There is also complimentary soda which is always a nice touch.

Overly priced devices!! I received a hand/wrist brace from my primary doctor. This company charged my insurance 8 times the cost of the retail price. My dispute brought no resolution. I will never again purchase a medical device from this company or any medical device directly through a primary physician!!

After insurance I was required to pay over $150 for a support boot. I was unhappy with the high cost but I paid it anyway. However, I kept receiving invoices in the mail for the amount I had paid. I called 6 times over the coarse of a year and customer service was able to see the payment yet they could not correct the issue. Finally after a year one of the managers was able to correct it. Seemed very unethical to keep sending the same bill wanting me to pay again for it.

Review what your insurance pays these thieves. This is why your premiums go up. $130 for a cloth and velcro sling, does that sound reasonable. It does to them.
