I used to shop here all the time. The store was clean and the employees were friendly. Lately whenever I've gone in, the employees have been extremely rude and the produce has been gross. At this point, I'll just drive farther and shop at smiths rather than deal with the rude workers

1st time customer went about 6pm atmosphere was okay and prices were decent. Didn't notice a big difference from say Smiths but I would have definitely returned because it wasn't crowded like a big chain store is at that time on a weekday. BUT my 1 star comes from the customer service with the cashier at register 2!!! He was so damn rude and unprofessional. He was scrolling on his phone when I walked up to the register he didn't say a thing to me and looked at me like I was bothering him. There was no sign he was closed and his light was on so I started to unload my groceries he then slammed his close sign down and still said nothing. I placed bags of cereal on the counter and told him I would like to use the digital coupon but that I'm new to the store and the app so if he could assist with how I get the coupon to him. His answer was so unprofessional but we got the coupon added. My son started to place Rockstars on the counter and he yelled at my son saying he only needed one of each flavor. He gave him one of each and my son said we have 6 strawberry and 14 silver. The cashier proceeded to say to my son he didn't need to know how many there where because he had to count them his self. After I noticed he rang them up I asked if he had 20 of them and his response was well he said there was 14 and 6 isn't that what he said..!?My son is 11!I understand people have bad days but to take it out on a kid and mom just trying to grocery shop is uncalled for! I was so close to just walking out and leaving my groceries there but I told my son we kill them with kindness.

It's a nice lil corner store with the basics. The 10% fee on top of things is annoying but it still can be pretty equal to other places.

Limited selections compared to Smith's but good prices on some good quality items. Produce a bit disappointing. Won't be our primary grocery but will patronize occasionally.

Now this store reminded me of the movie Animal House. I think John Belushi yells out " Food King" and they go shopping there and run into Dean Wermers wife and daughter inviting them to the toga party. I had never seen a food King before and just lost it. Plus they had a Wall o bargains. Great place! Really good prices !

Hard to give a true review of this location because the Lowes here was so horrible. BUT they have a great selection of local beer and cider (that's much broader than Smiths' selection) and they sell individual La Michoacanas so I'm pretty much satisfied.This is basically a great neighborhood grocery store & I'm super pleased it's here. Their produce is also quite good (although, again, I have horror stories about Lowes produce) which is a definite bonus. Plus the employees are always lovely!!
