This is going to become my new go to vet office. Not only do they have appointments on weekends, but the staff is so friendly. My boyfriend and I had an elderly cat and sadly he was in his final days. The vet and tech were gentle but honest about my cats condition and quality of life. They made me feel confident in the decision to euthanize at that time. The staff was so sweet and even sent me a card with his paw print inside after. The prices are a little much- for example, to get his ashes back it was going to $600 but for just the cremation is was like $70. I personally do not like to keep ashes but if somebody does that may be a bit steep. I will bringing my dog here from now on also.

I had to make a very tough decision to put my sweet dog down. I was able to get a same day appointment and everyone was so kind. The receptionist on the phone politely listened to my concerns and the tech and doctor both gave me hugs and reassured me that I was making the right decision. I appreciate them so much. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you Kokopelli Animal Clinic.

Had to get urgent services for my doggie and called here and they were able to fit me in. The staff and vet were so caring and accommodating.

We just moved to the area not long ago. Our doggy became very ill and they got him in quickly. The doctor was amazing and gave us all of the options, including natural remedies we could try. Ultimately, we lost our Prince and the doctor we saw was with us every step of the way. He was outstanding. Their entire staff was amazing, friendly, and compassionate for everything. We will be taking our other dog there and using them from now on. Their prices were reasonable and even a quote for surgery was much more reasonable than expected. The location was extremely convenient, great parking, and the office extremely clean. Thank you all for your care and compassion and most of all never making us feel pressured into anything.

I would give a minus to this place if I could. I am very disappointed I felt my pet was rushed and not properly examined because the dr was busy with another pet. I was told that my dog was terminal and there was nothing she can do and to put him down. It just didn’t sit right with me and something kept telling me to get another opinion so I did and my dog is now on antibiotics and doing so much better. It breaks my heart that I paid a lot of money I didn’t have and my baby was not treated properly.

I’ve been going to Kokopelli Animal Clinic for years. I love Dr. Beth Stowell and her team. She has literally saved two of my dogs lives with emergency surgeries and has compassionately provided care for several others through the years. She is truly a wonderful person and a great veterinarian. Her hours are also amazing. She’s a great addition for the NW community and I’m so glad she’s here!

No! Don't go here! This was our 3rd visit. I've noticed they push to only make appts where you see the techs only and tell you your saving money by not having to see the Dr.... but then the techs can't do anything. They can't answer your questions, they can't even look into his ears. This time I made sure to schedule an appt for him with the Dr! So, for the 3rd visit I brought my dog in to have his anal glands expressed. He'd had it done once before at Kokopelli and was fine. This visit, we decided to start him on heartworm prevention medication as well, so they did the heartworm test 1st and said it was negative and they could go ahead and give him a heartworm shot that lasts 6 months. When he came back in the room he was a completely different dog! Please keep in mind when we got there he was happy, running around, giving kisses.... now they bring him back to me after doing his anal glands and the shot. He was lethargic, completely dead weight, he couldn't stand. He would try and was vomiting uncontrollably. He started pooping as well. His eyes were watery and he looked like he was dying. The 2 girls/ techs that were in the room were great! They were sweet, compassionate and tried to be very reassuring that he was just "stressed". After 5 minutes they finally took my dog in the back to show the Dr and came back not 2 minutes later and said the Dr says the heartworm shot did not cause this and its stress. We were in the room another 15 minutes or so with him sick still and because I was afraid to leave the Dr office in case something was going very wrong! Not once did the Dr come back in the room to check on him! I really couldn't believe it! Your supposed to love animals and take care of them and you haven't checked on mine once since he got so sick and is laying there suffering!! Besides the whole 2 minutes when the techs brought him back to you. My dog was sick for another 3 days after that. I was hesitant to go here from the start due to some bad reviews I read, but... there were also good ones and Kokopelli is 3 minutes away from me so I figured I'd try it. Screw convenience!!! I'll drive to Bosque if I have to just too take him to a Vet I trust and who takes their time with my pet....my family member!!! We will not be returning! I've also noticed in reviews they never actually accept responsibility for anything or any sympathy, just a couple sentences of a response that deflects away from your actual concern.
