Nothing but good things to say about the Muay Thai classes! Came into the gym with absolutely zero experience, but with the help of Invictus’ team of coaches, I’ve learned more than I could’ve ever expected. The gym is a super welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for all skill levels. Highly recommend joining if you’re looking to learn a martial art. And on top of that, it’s great exercise.

If you’ve ever thought about joining a gym to learn Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai, which inludes MMA,I would encourage you to come to Invictus. I just completed my one week free trial. I must say that Rick and his whole staff were welcoming, friendly , respectful, and very knowledgeable in their skills! One thing that really encouraged me to join this gym, are the people there! The camaraderie is amazing! it’s a family environment for sure! If you’ve been sitting on the couch contemplating on joining a gym that can teach you Muay, Thai, kickboxing, MMA, or you just want to get in great shape, come to Invictus and give it a try! What do you have to lose? They offer you a whole week free trial! Most Gyms only offer a one day trial! They welcome all skill levels, beginners, and people of all ages! Come on down you can do this! They also have several pay plans to fit everyone’s budget! See you at the gym!

I like training at Invictus. It's a cool friendly atmosphere where people are happy to help you learn. I train BJJ and after techniques and drilling there's always a lot of time for Free rolls. Was gone a while and people told me sincerely they were glad I was back.

I visited Invictus recently while traveling through Albuquerque. Rick, the head coach, was very welcoming and I joined a Friday evening class and came back for Saturday morning open mat session. There were sparring parters for all levels, including several black belts. Everyone was friendly, considerate, and technical. I highly recommend visiting the gym if you are in Albuquerque.

From someone who has been a part of the kickboxing and Muay-Thai community in Albuquerque since the late 80's, Invictus has been by far one of the of my favorite places to train. Coach Rick and Edgar are very knowledgeable and technical and you are welcomed into a ego free environment as soon as you step through the door. Everyone who I have come in contact with has been kind, friendly and willing to learn and share knowledge, rather it be jiu-jitsu practitioners or veterans of stand up, all are phenomenal people. I can't thank Rick enough for always welcoming me into his facility. I recommend Invictus to absolutely anyone thinking about learning martial arts.

Great gym, tough rolls which make training optimal. Not currently attending due to work schedule but will absolutely rejoin if morning classes were more frequent. Great place otherwise and it has been a pleasure training there

My children have been training here for about a year now and I cannot say enough good things about this gym.My kids have COMPLETELY different personalities and I’ve seen both of them grow and develop a confidence in themselves that I wish I had as a child.Parent teacher conferences at school have been phenomenal since my kids have trained at Invictus.The kids program not only challenges my kids to be physically fit but also challenges them to give to others, to help others. I actually love that the program is challenging because it teaches my kids valuable lessons in perseverance, determination, resilience under pressure, and discipline.Thank you to Invictus for investing in my kids the way you do. Keep it up!

Visiting Albuquerque for work and had the opportunity to drop in and take both a BJJ class with Coach Rick and a Muay Thai class with Coach Finn. Both experiences were amazing with exceptional instruction. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I would recommend Invictus to anyone in the Albuquerque area who wants to train martial arts. Additionally Liz, the gym manager, was very helpful throughout and able to answer any questions I had.

I highly recommend this gym if you are stopping by or you are looking to get into either jiu-jitsu or Muay Thai. I have been training about 4.5 years in both BJJ and Muay Thai. I stopped in last week to check out Invictus to see if it would be the place where I continue my bjj and muay thai journey when I move to ABQ.I was thoroughly impressed with Rick Mitchell in his coaching style, the atmosphere he brings to the gym, and the community he has built at Invictus. The community was welcoming and challenged me as a drop in, and I felt at home when I went in to train. I look forward to making Invictus the gym I continue to train at when I move and becoming a long term member of their community!

Invictus is a top notch gym. I dropped in for the week last week to train with their Muay Thai coaches, and had a great week of training. Their coaches are all knowledgeable, respectful, encouraging, and great to work with.I will definitely train with them again when I'm travelling through the area.

I am a blue belt from The War Room BJJ in ABQ. Invictus let me drop in for an open mat last Saturday and the grapplers here were very welcoming and gave me some pointers to help my game. Thank you for the hospitality!

Amazing school, I checked several BJJ gyms before deciding on this one. What made me stay is the welcoming atmosphere, the willingness of everyone to teach me, two blue belts asked me to run drills with them. Another day, another blue belt asked to run some drills before class since we both got there early. There is an atmosphere of teaching and learning here. Super humble people. I haven't checked the muai thai classes tho.

My kids are super happy. The enviroment is exelent.The coaches take the time with each kid to make sure they understand the tasks. They show kids dicipline.Very respectful staff?
