Ugh. Rented from here today and was reminded why Enterprise is the best car rental company.I’m a “Five Star Gold” member… which apparently means absolutely nothing. There are no perks to being Hertz 5 Star Gold. I believe I was misled when they pitched “free additional driver” for gold star members, it really just means your spouse can drive for free (I’m shocked that Hertz charges for spouses…. What a Rip off!!!). Shame on me for not reading the fine print. Additionally, they pitch “free upgrade when available”. For 5 Star Gold members… I would venture to guess “when available” means “never available” based on my experience renting today. I was offered an upgrade for an additional cost. (Sounded to me like an upgrade was available, just not the free one for 5 star gold members.) After declining the upsell attempt into a Hyundai Santa Fe, we were assigned a Jeep Compass. In the agents (Sonrisas) inspection she stated to look for scratches bigger than a dollar bill, dents about a golf ball size or bigger, and not to forget to look at the glass. Nothing mentioned about tires… While Sonrisa was doing her damage inspection … we were doing our own damage and safety inspection. In our inspection of the wheels we found the front left tire completely balded on the inside of the tire the tire threads were all the way out (see image)an absolute safety hazard. This leads me to believe that Hertz doesn’t train or have procedures in place to inspect vehicles for safety, and if they do… they are not being implemented at this location… Sonrisa seemed frustrated when I brought it to her attention and asked another employee(Anthony) what else was available… Surprise, surprise all that was left was the Hyundai Santa Fe they tried upselling us into at the beginning of the rental. The agent, Anthony, approached me and stated “well it looks like your are gonna get the free upgrade after all”. I expressed my frustration stating that it should have been the case all along since I was 5 star gold, and that I was also frustrated about the not so free “ free additional driver”, and now the unsafe vehicle they tried assigning to us. He then explained that 5 star gold is really just for airport locations and they don’t usually accommodate the upgrades at the local stores. I expressed my frustration again, and he got into another rental car and made some under the breath comments I wasn’t able to catch.We were then instructed by Sonrisa to return back into the office to sign for the replacement vehicle with Lupe. An additional 10 minutes added to our already extended visit.Enter the 3rd agent, Lupe. Lupe’s demeanor was sarcastic and cold. Rather than politely asking for a signature, she stated to me “come over here and sign this”. Rude, condescending, and uncalled for, especially when your company had just tried to rent me an unsafe vehicle.The staff at this location don’t seem to be well versed in customer service, don’t do thorough inspections, and overall don’t really seem concerned about the customers feelings or safety.Personally, Enterprise has always taken great care of me with all of my past rentals.I thought I’d give Hertz a try since I got the Hertz 5 Star Gold membership. This experience left me feeling misled, disappointed, and underwhelmed.Now that I know Hertz 5 Star Gold carries no real tangible benefits, I’ll continue to make Enterprise my first choice for car rentals.If you’re in the area and need a rental car, I’d recommend Enterprise or Avis Budget group in the same area over this Hertz location.

I rented a uber car there. I went into there office to update my payment. They said I had to get a oil change. I did it took 3hrs. I gave them my new payment info and they told me it was $20.00 more a week. But at end it went from 351 to 399 a week. But after all that they would not rent the car to me. I had to find a ride home with no help from them. They made me do a oil change knowing that they were going to keep the car.i also believe that they are taking cash bribes to get a car.

Lady dodges comments and questions. (She needs fired, worst customer service in town) Lies about everything, sends out a vehicle that was damaged, no charging cable, full of pet hair, scuffed hubs and then had to go to the fast chargers every single day.Was charged an extra week cuz they weren't open on the day of my scheduled return. Tried asking questions about my money back and no help they just avoided my question, asked what was going on why am I charged an extra week and an extra day and they ignored me told me I should have returned it friday when it was Monday to Monday rental , but also made sure to tell me that they wouldn't have been able to prorated it if I returned it early. Car needed service the whole time from low coolant levels.Called support after their rude workers wouldn't help to be hung up on the first time then the second time to be told to make a dispute with my bank. After filing a report with the bbb and the attorney General office I'm still waiting on a full charge summary so I can dispute and report it for illegally charging and changing amount summary without warning. Initial week was 379. Then they charged 427 and then wanted to charge 521 more. Worst company every. No wonder lawsuits were happening against them. I'll never touch another rental. Spent more than a month's worth of auto insurance and brand new car payment for a damaged dirty hunk of junk which bothered my allergies for the whole week. Makes me wanna get a lawyer for the stuff the subject their customers to. Never go here. You will regret it

Rude staff are scam artists. They do not have an after hours return box. They were closed for three days including my return day that they established. 7 o'clock on the day before return was due, they auto charged my account for another week of rental. I returned the vehicle the first day they opened afyer being closed, first thing at opening. They charged me for another day on top of week that auto charged and the vehicle is on thier posession. I am being charged for 8 extra days, that i dont even have the vehicle in my possession for. They are gonna charge me and rent the vehicle out for someone else, scamming me and double dipping. I dont know how they can be allowed to operate this way.

Mike, Lupe & Sonrisa took great care of getting me into a safe vehicle that fit my budget. They were efficient & very fun to work with. Mike even helped me set up my hands-free features in the rental for an even better work commute. I will definitely be recommending this team/location for rentals. :)

Was told there was a car reserved. NEGATIVE!!! SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SINCE SOMEONE IN THE PAST STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION THROUGH THEM!!

Very inconvenient, unhelpful and stressful . Renting here will cost you more time and stress you’d be better paying double elsewhere. Try hertz by the airport or hertz on Mars if you have to but if you value your time and money ; You’ll lose everything coming here ,Even yourself . Cars will be dirty , no exceptions. Find a car wash . Car issues ? deal with yourself, they closed on weekends . Call the hotline and speak to robots or listen to recorded options all day that doesn’t apply to your situation . Refund ? Get a lawyer .

So I rented a car. It was ok. It was expensive. But I had some issues trying to get my payment finalized. So I decided to take it back. I didn't have the car, and they charged me another week. Now I'm frantically trying to get my money back and am not succeeding. It's been over a week. I was charged a week extra and still haven't gotten my initial deposit back either.I was told everything would be taken care of by the next day. Now it's been over a week, and I'm getting little to no responses or updates. The customer service line has been absolutely no help, but Mike says he will handle it... still nothing.

My experience here has been nothing but the best. If I have any issues during my rental weeks, I make a quick call and either Mike or Sonrisa are immediately on it. Thanks guys, for always showing up. Of course there will always be an issue somewhere (Uber), but it has always been taken care of. Y’all are appreciated!

If you don’t have a problem in the beginning, you’ll have in the end. They charged me after I returned the car while I was waiting on my hold for over 5days and all they do it’s to blame on the bank ! I went in person to sort it out and they gave me a number to call. I stayed 38 minutes in the call, got the staff talking to the support and nothing got sorted out on their side. So if they hold your money for more days or charged you extra all they will do is to blame on your bank. Even after you already returned the car.Looked nice at first… but that’s all rental cars places I guess

I don't like giving poor reviews but, this needs to be known. This experience was the worst car rental ever! I won't go into all the details but, the hatch locks were inoperative. So we asked if we could get a vehicle with a working lock system. We were told by the manager Mike, yes and that we would receive an upgrade or be compensated. Neither of which happened. So, renter beware when using Hertz car rental on Coors.

If I could give a 0 I would. They rented me a dirty car cheap then tried to charge me a 150.00 cleaning fee. When I complained they said there was cat hair, cat litter and cat food in the vehicle. I don’t even own a cat! I tried to call this location and couldn’t get through to them in the number they left! WORST car renting experience ever!!!
