The owner is a very nice guy, and the place itself is lovely. Thats why I gave 3 instead of 2 stars, the owner, he’s a great guy. My issues are with the costs, and the former mailman hired to work there. I understand giving your friend a job but when he’s a jerk running off your customers you may want to retrain customer service skills, its clear from other reviews the guy is costing business. Now my issues with cost, I paid 50$ more for a box in store than I just paid for a refill of the exact same box from Cigars International, even with express shipping, I still spent significantly less. $179 for the same box I spent over $230 for at Havana House. Its hard supporting local businesses when they are charging so much more than online retailers. I understand a little mark up, and that small businesses lack the buying power of big companies, but the 50$ difference is just too much to justify.

It's not a bad place. The guy gave my daughter a cigar box, and that made her happy. This place has some very nice cigars. When I have more time, I will be picking some up.

Took my dad to buy a cigar and smoke in the lounge. He always enjoys a good cigar. He has Alzheimers and I showed the gentleman whom was working a card explaining his condition. He seemed very indifferent. My dad is a very social person and likes to engage in conversation. I don't know anything about cigars and my dad did not remember how to cut the cigar to smoke and asked the gentleman if he could cut it for him. He seemed a bit annoyed but did it. When my dad thanked him he just murmured "uh huh". He was not very engaging at all ,even when my dad asked him how to put out the cigar. He seemed to be bothered by his question. As we were leaving the lounge my dad was thanking him for everything and tried to make small talk with him but he was so disengaged and seemed to be bothered that my dad was talking to him. Mind you, the whole time this gentleman was in the lounge with us. I won't be bringing him back. It was a very disappointing experience. This is the reason for my one star review based on the customer service experience.

Best cigar shop in the state of New Mexico. Amazing selection of cigars. The humidor is well kept and the smoking area always has some characters.

Not for newcomers. Not welcoming or educational. A nice shop and humidor. Go to Monte’s if you wanted to be treated like you are welcome.

Good size humidor with a good selection. But ultimately we only have the power of our dollar sometimes. They have FoxNews on in the lounge talking about migrant caravans and blue lives matter humidors all while a black community in NY is suffering because of their propaganda. If as a company you want to display your politics don’t be surprised when rational people stop giving you their money. It also does not help when the workers act like it is an inconvenience to help you either.

Great selection, fair prices, knowledgeable owner and had many recommendations of cigars. Interior was very nice with leather seating to enjoy your stick. Will definitely be back when in town again.

Good selection in a nice walk-in humidor and fair prices. There is an average sized Lounge that is nice with big screen TVs and comfortable chairs. There is also a private Lounge that is membership-only. Great owners that are friendly and helpful and keep patrons updated with regular email newsletters.
