All the staff and technicians were great. My car was over-heating and they were able to get it in the same day to start diagnostics before a holiday weekend. They found and fixed the issue with one of the cooling fans and fixed a couple other smaller problems I brought up as well and pro-rated the cost because the car had just been at the Wilshire shop a few days before. They give you itemized reports/ estimates through text and call for you to approve or decline and they have a free ride service that helped me out a ton. Great service. Great shop.

I've had great experiences with Hans Wittler's Automotive! They're knowledgeable, timely (actually got the work done sooner than they had predicted, and for less $) and have outstanding customer service.

Can not recommend these guys enough! Friendly, professional and most of all honest. I normally work on all my own cars but I turned to these guys as I was pressed for time. The time they took to ensure me they would get the car fixed and fixed right the first time was outstanding. They went above and beyond. I had them R&R my 2018 Audi S3 Haldex pump and do a Haldex fluid change. They love what they do and take that passion and put it into the cars they work on day to day. I appreciate the top notch work and timeliness. Thank you to Marcus and the team at Hans Wittler

Overall 10/10 recommend ! Staff was nice and friendly. When they couldn't find my appointment they were able to squeeze me in and when it came to the repair they were able to work with my schedule! Didn't feel pressure like some other shops make you feel. If you got an European vehicle Hans is the way to go!Services: General repairs & maintenance

This place is the only place you should take your German vehicle to for service! I have been bringing my vehicle her for a few years now! I had my car serviced at Sandia BMW a few times and did not get a warm fuzzy and most likely “overpaid” for the work that was done. I was very lucky to find Hans Wittler’s! The service advisors, William and Brian are awesome to deal with! They have treated me well and provide loaner vehicles when needed! I’m sorry I don’t know the name(s) of the technicians that have worked on my car, but I always have a pleasant experience!Very recently, my drive train belt needed to be replaced. Drove it just for a good week after having the drive train belt replaced, I had a warning light come on. The “battery charge malfunction “ (I don’t remember the exact wording) warning was displayed and I immediately lost power steering, the air conditioning and radio. I immediately called the shop and William said to bring it in right away. Luckily, I could still drive it but it was very challenging. I had a new battery placed a few months ago so by seeing that warning, I thought something was wrong with the battery. I was placed in a loaner and left my car there. A couple days later, I received the call I was waiting for. The drive train belt had slipped out of place! It was very puzzling how that could have happened! Because that happened, other issues were found. An issue with the oil pan that was identified previously (about a year or so ago) added to the issue. Because I had not addressed the issue in a timely manner, that had to be done. A few other issues came up and while some of the work was covered under warranty, the job of repairing everything was not going to be cheap. William was able to work some “magic” and was able to give us a break on the bill! He certainly went above and beyond and it was very appreciated! My take away is to address an issue as soon as it is identified. If you procrastinate (like I did), bigger issues could arise. When they assess your vehicle prior to performing a service, they let you know if there are any issues that should be addressed, not to get more money from you, but because they are honest! They are very knowledgeable and certainly care for their customers! I will always bring my BMW to them without a second thought! Thanks Hans Wittler’s!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

First of all with exception for my time in the Army, I have worked as a professional Automotive Technician since 1979 until I started teaching Automotive Service Technology in 1999. Which I did until this last year. I have an AAS in Automotive Service Technology from Oklahoma State University. Due to arthritis I am no longer able to work on vehicles like I use to. So, when I got my 1999 Audi A4 Quattro I looked for a shop that I could depend on for my vehicles service/repair needs.I called around and found others that are less expensive but one thing that stood out is their 36000 mile 36 month warranty. I didn’t know how many miles were on the timing belt and needed to get it changed along with the water pump and the thermostat.Brian was awesome. He took pictures of components that are worn and need repairing and/or replacing. Peter (the Technician) also found the cooling fan was leaking oil and needed replacing. I authorized the repair while they had the vehicle apart.Their honesty is the greatest. During the process of paying online there was some confusion and an extra cooling fan was added and we had already paid the bill. Instead of getting the money refunded we asked if we could just leave it there for services we will need in the future. They said, “Yes”. It is nice know that the team at Hans Wittler’s Automotive is honest and I don’t have to worry about them trumping up work just to take my money. It feels good to be able to leave $300.00 - $500.00 in an account for unexpected expenses, or services like oil changes. Or, my daughter can make an appointment for an oil change and take her car in and she doesn’t have to worry about paying because the money is already there. `A couple of days after I got it back it was making noise. I took it into them and before I could get in the shop Peter was outside looking to see what the noise was. I left it with them and they gave me a really nice loaner vehicle until they finished the repair. One of the new components Peter installed failed (which happens sometimes) and they made the repair under warranty.Hans Wittler’s Automotive is definitely an Automotive Technician’s shop. They are a mechanic’s mechanic. They are the one I trust to take care of my vehicles. They did cost a little more than the lowest bid. They were about average with the rest but the quality of service and honesty is worth more than money. In the long run they will cost me far less than many of the others I have seen/worked with in my lifetime. Thank you Hans Wittler’s Automotive.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I can't say enough how pleased I am to have my vehicles serviced here. There customer service is the best I've ever experienced in this industry and I'm pretty sure they like my car better than me. So yeah I keep going back every 5000 miles.

Upon getting a 2018 Audi Q5 and unacceptable rates and service from the local Audi dealership, I looked for another German specialist repair shop. I took in my Q5 for its 40k service to Hans Wittler because of their professionalism and friendliness when I visited the shop in person. The 40k service was great and at a rate less than the dealership. About 6 months later I was getting a low oil notification and the shop said bring it in to be topped off for free. That's when I also received an excellent recommendation for service that the dealership would never give. I will now be taking my E46 M3 here for service as well. This is a German car specialist you can trust in term of both value and quality. It's also the kind of place they remember you when you return.Services: Tires

My son's 2013 Jetta had suffered a lot of minor damages and delayed maintenance issues. HWA gave it an incredibly thorough going-over, sent photos along with the estimates and had very clear pricing. William went over everything with me both over the phone as well as in person, and was able to save me some money in the ways we decided to approach the car's issues. By far the most professional mechanic shop I have ever been to. 100% would recommendServices: Auto body & trim repair

Impressive rehabilitation/rebuilding of a beloved VW beetle left years in Arizona heat. Solid & safe now, literally returned to drivability & ready for another couple of decades of adventures.I've used Hans Wittler's for decades & always gotten top notch mechanical workmanship. Their estimates are clear & always help with trade-off decision making on priorities for repairs. Honest pricing & realistic expectations of results always exceeded.Services: Electrical repair

Forgot to perform emissions test. Didn’t fix washer system. Left washer fluid hose disconnected and quoted $1200 to fix washers. Seemed more interested in complaining about issues with the car, then providing solutions. Hard to find good mechanics in ABQ, guess I will do it myself and post on YouTube. Only seemed interested in finding problems. I am sure they are great at fixing cars they want to fix, mine just wasn’t one of them. Kept asking me for a review, so finally decided to post an honest review.Services: Vehicle Inspection
