Second time that I have a very bad customer service experience. No wonder the store is closing. Robert, I think the retiring manager, is so unprofessional and arrogant that he even doesn’t care to listen to what’s wrong with what has been purchased. So weird how they are so nice when you go to buy and then totally the opposite when you go with an issue with what you bought. Great it is closing

We were both excited and disappointed to go to your store’s close out sale. Excited because everything was 50%off and disappointed that the store is closing. It was the first day of the sale and we got there early. We were about 5th in line. People started lining up and everyone was lamenting on the store’s closure. Everyone loved Ethan Allen, and were very unhappy to see it go. Once we got inside, the sales people were overwhelmed, but they worked very hard, (as they always do), to make sure they answered everyone’s questions. They were smart to number the rooms so the customers would know where their pieces were. When we finally found a salesperson to order, she was very helpful, not just filling out the paperwork, but helping us see what went together and what didn’t. She was very reassuring and capable. Our experience was so good, we went back a few days later and ordered a sofa and two chairs. We received a call a week later to a hype delivery, and that went perfectly fine as well. Such a great experience. Thank you and we’ll miss Ethan Allen.

I bought quite a lot of furniture at Ethan Allen that was reduced due to the store closing. I love the traditional pieces and know the owner has represented Ethan Allen well and cares about his customers.

The owner commented to me that he never had a problem with leather furniture in 40 years. Accusing us that we caused the problem. Looking at the reviews it looks like another customer had a very similar issue 5 months ago. I have no problem using my extended warranty. Speaking with the owner I asked him what happens if they could not fix the issue. He did not want to comment or discuss next steps.Overall he couldn’t be bothered to call Ethan Allen corporate asking his staff to send an email. Again beware.

Buyer beware! Ethan Allen only gives one year warranty and G-d forbid you go over it they will do nothing. We purchased a leather sofa, love seat, entertainment unit, end table, ottoman and 3 area rugs. About a month after the year warranty ran out I noticed that the finish on the leather is rubbing off and changing colors. I contacted my sales person,and by the time they sent someone out to take pictures( which you really can’t see what’s going in) another 2 weeks past. I was told to call corporate which I did, then was told it was up to local store owner to resolve. Owner was very rude and very unwilling to even come out and look at it. When we started looking for furniture we were deciding between Ethan Allen and Lazy boy. Should have gone with Lazyboy.

My furniture arrived and I love it. My Designer Susan Shallenberger was amazing. She helped me pick out the fabric and colors which came together perfectly. The delivery was perfect. Thank you!

We purchased 2 leather chairs from Ethan Allen for $6.300. After 5 months the headrest on 1 of the chairs discolored. We tried to get Ethan Allen to fix, replace or give a store credit, so we could get new chairs or our chairs fixed. After numerous requests the store refused to help us. It is very discouraging to spend that much money and get no help from Ethan Allen. We will never buy anything from them again and we suggest no one purchase anything from Ethan Allen.
