This is a very nice, very clean thrift store. Pricier than others but easy to find stuff. I ended up w/ a few great pieces for my teenage daughter!

I found Buffalo Exchange on Yelp during my visit to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta. The store has an amazing selection of both clothing and shoes and fun Halloween costumes during the season. I would agree with other reviewers regarding their prices on clothing items...it's definitely giving "new clothing" prices, not second hand high-end. However, they had an amazing selection of shoes and cowboy boots and the prices were reasonable.

Really amazing & unique selection, and very friendly staff. They are a little particular on what they pick to buy if you're bringing in clothes but it is completely understandable. They also give a large amount of trade $ for the items which is unlike many places I've gone too! Found lots of good pieces.

Didn’t take anything of the clothes I took to sell. I recommend that you don't shop there. They are also very pricey. Something that should be around 5.00 dollars, they’re selling it for 30.00. Not good at all. SAW ME STRUGGLING WITH FULL BAGS OF CLOTHES AND SAID “I WOULD OFFER TO HELP BUT I CANT” and PROCEEDED TO FOLLOW ME OUTSIDE MY CAR AND JUST WATCH ME.

Fantastic place for second hand shopping. Found a sturdy, worn pair of boots to costume a character for a film project. $22. Perfect. I have purchased a few pieces here for my own wardrobe before. The selection is trendy and clean. In general the store is clean. The other customers are polite and are happy to shop together. Clothes are reasonably priced. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I appreciate how picky they are with the clothes they accept. The selectivity of the purchasing staff saves me time I would normally spend sifting through dated styles and poor quality fabrics.Don't recommend selling branded clothes here. Take good clothes to a real consignment shop, you'll get way more money.

I used to shop here a lot, but this place has really gone down hill post Covid. I think they have new management, and they definitely have new people buying the clothes. Tons of sweaters made of polyester/acrylic, and concert t-shirts. Yuck. Maybe I just got used to the California locations, but I have honestly found better clothes at Goodwill lately. I will take a trip to Santa Fe next time. Their used clothing shops have way better stuff.

I have brought jewelry and clothes and boots over 18 years - with most bought by employees. Today my collection was rejected because of a smell of smoke. Ok if smoke is a thing ok it is a new policy…just ick.

Ick. After taking jewelry and clothing and shoes for trade over 18 years(most purchased by employees) - I was told today that expensive boots smelled like smoke and so no go. Everything I'be brought in for 18 years has smelled the same. It is the business' right to make such choices. I will never walk through their doors again...= $1,000's dollars loss profit for them based on past years and lost future years.

Very rude people. They don't buy anything that is not too their needs. Everything thing that I took was all brand new clothes and purses. So I recommend that you don't shop there. They are also very pricey. Something that should be around 5.00 dollars, there selling it for 30.00. Not good at all.

I just moved to this area and was looking for a good spot with cute trendy items at a good price. The buffalo exchange meets all the criteria. Lots of name brand items at a good price. My only complaint is that the sizes are very jumbled and not enough options for curvy/fat girls

Like most thrifting and second hand clothing stores, what you get is kind of hit or miss. Buffalo Exchange has a wide variety of clothing for all sorts of styles, but doesn't cater to anything specific. The clothing is organized well so sifting through everything is easy enough. Plenty of changing rooms in the back and friendly staff that is willing to help. It's a bit pricy in comparison to other similar stores, but not terrible.

I used to love this thrift store. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This was before covid. I get that inflation is still a thing and it's hard to find enough workers, but that doesn't excuse charging $25 minimum for men's button up shirts. That's more than most people make per hour. Guess I'll just buy my clothes online now.
