Very rude ! I tried cashing out a check today but they told me there will be a fee in order to do that. I agreed and all of a sudden they copied my check, gave me the copy and kept my check and wouldn’t give me a reason why ? I didn’t make a big issue about it. But I considered that very unprofessional and I know damn well it was a valid check. Waisted my time and my check ???? With no reason given to me. And it’s illegal to copy checks lol. Why give it to me ??

Worst bank. Don't EVER go to a PNC bank. They will rip you off and steal your money!

Worst service and won't cash your cashier's check when you close your account and they want to charge you a fee because now you're non-member. I just let them have what was in account, they needed more.

They lock the front door, tell you to ring the doorbell but the doorbell is broken. They just make you wait outside indefinitely “for their projection”. Be prepared to wait in the long drive through line if you actually need assistance. 0/10 would not recommend.

To start this off we have 15 different accounts with this Bank. I called to check on a deposit that happened today. Mind you, I am running these offices and cannot drive over there every time I have a question. The first phone call attempt I was on hold for about 15 minutes and then I was disconnected. I then called back and was put on hold for another 45 min (not exaggerating) to then get a lady on the phone to tell me to hold and asked for my phone number to call back immediately. I waited for another 10 more min for a phone call and still no one called. I then called again and they asked me to be put on hold. I let her know I was on hold for about an hour now and I have multiple companies using BBVA as our bank. She said we are busy in the lobby, I said well am I not priority? I was on hold for an hour so I Know I have been in line waiting before the person in the lobby was. I have a question that I just need answered. They transferred me to the Manager who is always nice and exceptional. It took her 5 min to answer my question. BBVA most of your business clients do not have the time to walk over there every single time they have a question. Phone calls need to be priority too.

If I could give them negative stars I would. I would never recommend this bank at any location. They are not customer oriented at all and are making a hard situation even harder with their "policies".Since they are not open on Saturdays (no branch in town and it was this way pre COVID) I have to take time off work to go in and deal with them.Several years ago I went in with my mother so she could add me as the beneficiary on the account again because when BBVA bought compass they erased it.They told us all I would need to do is take in her death certificate and I would have access to the funds and be able to close the account. This was a lie. They have been giving me the run around for a week. I was first told that I needed to provide the death certificate and their legal department would review in 48 to 72 hours to approve me getting the funds and closing the account. So I left work early last Friday to take the paperwork in.Then I had to request this Friday afternoon off so I could go get the funds and close the account. But I called today (over 72 hours) to make sure everything is set for tomorrow and they do not have approval from the legal department yet.So now I have to see if I can get next Friday afternoon off to go close the account since they can't do a simple job in a decent amount of time.Friday is also the only day they are open after 3 pm. I get off work at 6 each day so Friday is my only option to minimize how much work I have to miss.

Actually Yolonda as well as Amery Cordova and Supervisor Abel Reyes. He is the worse type because he is rude yet hides behind "I don't know what's going on" lol we tried to purchase a home through BBVA was told we were approved for 3% down, 3.25 interest and Lender paid PMI... never got any paperwork had to resend multiple documents because Amery was intoxicated or something and had to extend closing date from May 27 to June 10 to June 27th. Not to mention they don't answer your calls and when we got a new lender they held our Appraisal hostage for over the 24 hours it took.. not to mention Abel lied and told me it would take two weeks before I told him higher ups said 24 hours... do not waste your time please. Call Weldon at LoanDepot

If you are looking to buy a house. Do not come here. There is a lady called Yolanda. She did not help us at all. In fact,It was the opposite. We lost the opportunity to get the house we were looking. She never responded to emails or calls. Very unprofessional and mediocre job. I highly recommend Nusenda bank. If you come to BBVA avoid talking with "Yolanda"

As a brand new member, I can say that so far I've been pretty impressed with BBVA Compass! & just now, after visiting the branch location at 6001 Academy in ABQ, NM to make a quick deposit, I'm even more impressed!! The nice lady working the drive-thru sent out a doggy biscuit for my pup along with my transaction receipt. Wow! How fun is that!?!?

I stopped by there last Friday after work to open an account. I arrived at approximately 5:22 pm. They were open until 6 pm. There were 2 employees inside and no other customers. Yet I was told the process would take at least 45 minutes and they wouldn't have time to finish before closing!!! They flat out refused and said I'd have to return next Friday. I've never heard of a bank that would turn away a new customer. I have since opened my account with a different bank who were very happy to help me.
