I went to the WF branch today for three reasons, to deposit a check, to cash checks and to open a second checking account. I was told for the checking account I needed to make an appointment online first. I went to the teller, nice young lady with an accent. At first she was confused on how to deposit the check, someone has to come over and help. No issues really cashing the checks. She meticulously inspected the checks, talking to herself on a different language, cool I thought. I was trying to be nice and commented on the nice accent, at to which point she got rude and said, " you understand me, don't you?! I speak only English!" I was taken a back. Took my stuff and left. Poor people skills.I am adding to my post, I have been with Wells Fargo for over twenty years and will continue to do business with them, I won't let this unsavory experience ruin our relationship.

I've been a customer here for almost 2 years now and the customer service is excellent.Anita is always friendly and smiling during our transaction. She always makes me feel welcomed here.The drive up and walk up atms are convenient and there is never a wait.

Unprofessional. Looking at her watch as if we're wasting her time. Spoke too quick; couldn't understand her. All we wanted was to open a secondary checking account.

The ATM ate my card. On top of that they refused to give it back because it has my husbands name on it so they withheld the card from me even though I have documentation stating he is in a coma doesn’t matter they will not release it so because I chose Use Wells Fargo ATM I lost my card and I had to order a new one which cost me and plus I have to wait seven days to pay my bills now….

There was only one teller, came in to make a deposit. Took forever. Customer service is obviously not a priority at this bank.

They never pick up their phone. We made a total of 15 phone calls to multiple branches over the past 2 days and none of them answered the phone.Customer service is terrible!EDIT: To add insult to injury, after 2 weeks of waiting for an answer, the corporate folks at Wells Fargo suggested that I make an appointment (via their online website) with the Wells Fargo branch, then I should drive 2 hours each way to the branch, wait patiently in the lobby until an employee has the time to "bless me" with an audience so that I can ask my 30 second question. Its clear that the corporate folks at Wells Fargo would rather see a long time customer waste 5 hours, rather than have a branch employee pick up the phone and answer a question (30 seconds).Needless to say, I'll be closing out my accounts and moving my business to bank that actually cares about me and my money. There's still a few good banks around.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo now for 5 years and I’m very happy. The staff is always so friendly and remember your name and the mobile app makes banking so easy as well.

By appointment only with one person working the drive through. Management should look at the long list of bad reviews for this location and fix something about it.

Seriously unhelpful people. Seemed to delight in turning me away. I've been banking with Wells Fargo over 30 years. I needed a document notarized was told I needed an appointment but they could squeeze me in. This would of taken about 3-4 minutes tops. I waited 10 minutes, no problem but then was told I'd have to come back in the afternoon. Someone else with an appointment had arrived. A bank with only one notary is silly enough not being able to provide the service without an appointment, stupid. Kicking me to the curb after they had he wait to be squeezed in, ridiculous. There face when I closed my accounts, priceless.

They won't accept deposits into families account. What bank doesn't want money? I dropped them once I found out they had hidden charges. I could see the charges on the app but couldn't see it on the computer. Their answer for it was "if you can't see it, you won't question it."

The Alamogordo location is fine. It’s the company as a whole that’s an issue. I’ve never had so many issues with a bank before it’s ridiculous. Had issues with fraud charges to my account two times. First time they said “well sorry nothing we can do, try and contact the merchant” the merchant was a fake obviously or it wouldn’t have been a fraudulent charge. Second time they actually got my money back, but had to send me a new card. These people sent me a new card in the mail, that they had already turned off for fraud charges before I even got the card in the mail. So now I can’t pay my bills like I need to and I have to wait who knows how long for another card that they hopefully actually did right this time. Will never recommend this bank to anyone. and I will be closing my account and they will be losing a customer. Would give zero stars if I could.
