The lady that runs it is very nice. The facility is clean (once in a while someone would leave a mess but it was always cleaned up the next time we went by) and the climate control was a lifesaver in the heat. The only things I can nitpick are: the amount of dust our things accumulated suggests some sealing might need done but it is NM dust so we know there's only so much you can do; and when the nights turned cold, it would be just as cold inside. Maybe they're system was on the fritz (I never asked) but I assumed it should keep it a fairly stable temperature 24/7. However, overall the experience was wonderful so I would definitely use them again.

I highly recommend Stay Cool Self Storage. Our belongings were stored for 2 years and absolutely nothing wet or any flooding I could tell after all the rain the past few years. Facility has always been clean whenever I have been inside. Dollies to help move are a blessing and in good working order. Temperature are regulated very well on all my visits.

This is the Best storage unit for your valuables. Regulated temperature prevents furniture from warping and you have the peace of mind knowing your valuables are secure.The plus is, Shirley is the sweetest and is always available for any questions you may have. Thank you Shirley!

This storage unit facility is clean, well lit and climate-controlled. I don't like that there is an extra charge for 24 hr access. It's not manned so why would it cost more?

This place is okay. The owners could do a better job of maintaining the amount of sand that gets into the building. I think a minimum of weekly sweeping main corridors would help. We've had 2 storage units for 1 year here, and the amount of sand that had accumulated over our belongings was breathtaking.I know it is storage, but it is disappointing to find our stored items in worse condition than when we put them in.

Very nice storage units with climate control no rodents and not to many insects. The owner Shirley was great on answering questions and also if we had any problems. A very great place to get ur storage needs and priced just right

The place is kept immaculate. I have a lot of documents stored in my unit and the temperature and humidity is closely monitored to keep my stuff from being destroyed. There are carts to load your stuff on when putting stuff in or out of your unit. We had 3 other units elsewhere in Alamogordo and transferred the stuff to COOL STORAGE. It is very comforting to have my stuff safe and protected. A+!!

I was able to get a unit last minute when I needed it, staff helped me figure out what size I would actually need. I love that I have access to the unit 24/7 and that I can pay everything online. Great service very nice units and very helpful staff!

We moved from out of state and there was no one that had available climate controlled units. They reserved one for me spent numerous emails and phone calls working through my arrival date and have been available in a friendly consistent manner. We’ve already recommended them by word-of-mouth to others and they will be our go to choice for any future needs. The place is spotless, they have bathrooms that are always neat and stocked and the 24 hour access is perfect for our needs. Highly recommend!

Well maintained, clean storage units in a safe, secure and convenient location. These units are reasonably priced and are available in different sizes. You can purchase insurance for additional protection. Their website is very user friendly. It’s easy to see whats available- make your choice and create an account. I’ve had my storage unit for over a year and have never had any problems whatsoever.
