There is a gentleman named Chris at this location that restored my faith in humanity completely. A blessing in disguise that man went above and beyond customer service. He made this holiday one that we will never forget. Thank you so much to him.. he is not to be under appreciated. 5 star experience.

I was a loyal customer of Lowe's for years. I've spent thousands of $$ including major appliances. I don't know if it's management but customer service has gone to hell. You can't find someone to help or to answer a question and FORGET that customer service desk. It's the antithesis of customer service. I've taken my business to the orange box store down the street and couldn't be more satisfied with their product and staff. My only regret is I waited so long to make the change.

Ordered my appliance and KIMBERLY was very helpful, patient with me and in 2020 it's something that I wasn't expecting. LG had issues with my appliance order but KIMBERLY went above and beyond to find a solution for me. Thank you so much!!!!

Lowe's Home Improvement has always been the best for the house improvement needs. However, this particular stores employment has a lack of communication skills. I was waiting an hour for my pre-order. I ordered tile and a sink vanity. They didn't have all the tile?! One employee stated that they would contact me when the more tile come in. I was waiting for an hour (no exaggeration) for them to bring the vanity and the only tile they had. I had to load the sink vanity into my vehicle after being told they would assist me. I am a independent woman although lifting a sink vanity myself was obviously very difficult. Returning after several weeks, they finally had my tile. I drove 30 minutes to retrieve the tile I ordered. This process should have been an easy pick up because I had contacted them before I left and told them specifically what time I would be arriving. Although, I had contacted them. It was an hour before I recurved my tile. Overall, this made my home project a 4-5 month time frame when it should have taken me 1-2 months. Due to the lack of service, I will NOT be returning to this particular Lowe's.

Have always loved Lowe's for their liberal return policies, but no more. Apparently new CEO, from Home Depot no less, has implemented a strict 90 policy on returns. Went into effect about one month ago. Over 90 days, no return/exchange/refund. I purchased several bags of mortar about 6 months ago for the remodel of three bathrooms. Just finished and had one bag left over so took it back to Lowe's but the would not accept it. Outside the 90 days. If you have any products from Lowe's that is approaching the 90 day limit and you are not sure that you will be using them, return them and get your money back now. If you should need them in the future you can always buy what you need at that time. Update: today (12/22/19) I took in a broken Kobalt tape measure, the tape had snapped. My understanding was that Kobalt had lifetime warranty. They asked for my receipt, which I did not have, and then asked if purchased in last 90 days, which I did not know. After some back and forth they finally agreed to replace the tape measure. But they were specific that the replacement had only a 90 days warranty. Be sure to confirm that the tools you buy have a lifetime warranty and that you get a copy of the warranty and file it away where you can find it. They have developed a habit of changing the rules in the middle of the game.

I have never had anything except great Customer Service from the people at Lowe's. Just today I spoke with Ilene, in Plumbing. What I was looking for required some research and some patience because I am not very knowledgeable. She showed me patience and kindness and most importantly, answers. I love Lowe's in Alamogordo!

I'm a bit peeved. I signed up for the military discount in January. Since then we bought over 1000 dollars worth of doors and cabinets. I go into Lowe's for a $200 tool and try to use the discount and I'm no longer in the system. The lady tells me to go sign up again. I go to the service counter where there is only one person working. She's on the phone and there is a line of people, not a moving line either, waiting for service. After a short time I just went and paid full price for the tool. I should have just left but Home Depot was out of the tool I needed. It also would have been $50 cheaper at Home Depot. I think Lowe's has lost my business.

Excellent service...like always! Easy to purchase appliances from...if they don't have it in stock then they will sell you the floor model and you get a discount which is awesome. Better service and faster then Home Depot

Mike is appliances is AWESOME. He made sure we got what we needed and didn't try and make us buy extra crap we didn't need. The delivery and communication on delivery day.... could be better. We've been waiting literally 10 hours for our stuff and we no one has called to give us a status update.

I've been to this store dozens of times as we have 3 rental properties in Ruidoso so I come for supplies for repairs or improvements. Usually don't need much help but we just purchased all new appliances and cabinets - on different dates. I've had to change the delivery date 3 times and each time they were professional and courteous. Each time they have delivered in the past, they have arrived as scheduled and I've never had any issues at all.

Don't expect anything as far as professionalism or customer service and you won't be disappointed. If you expect indifference and odd behavior then you are in the right ballpark. I am not a fan. Typical Alamogordo low standards and devilish contempt for decent customers. Just saying... I would complain to the management but it seems like they are at the top of the pile... So here I am sounding like a bitter jerk of a person... When actually I am kind, thoughtful and considerate. I hope this helps others who have had the same kind of bad experience to not feel alone.

They have amazing Coustmer service everyone was so friendly and attentive. If someone you asked didn't have the answer they would grab someone else. The store was clean and organized. With a quick check out.
