Very unprofessional, washed my hair in like a minute didn’t even wash the ends of my hair just my scalp. was very heavy handed brushing my hair cut too much of my hair off. Felt like something was wrong with her were shaking. She was coughing. I won’t go back.

I had my hair dyed a caramel brown with highlights. This is probably one of the best haircuts I've had. Alexa took time to ensure everything was like I wanted it and it turned out better than I could have imagined (just in time for a date night). This is my new go to place that I've been waiting to find.

I have been going to Alphia for a haircut since I moved here. Alphia is not vaccinated nor wears a mask while cutting. I called for another shop to find out if she was vaccinated to cut my hair since I can not take any chances at my age. She said she had had Covid and was not vaccinated so I decided to stick with Alphia for now and hope for the best. When I went into her shop to get my hair cut, she berated me for calling that other person "after all these years." I asked her if she was going to cut my hair today and she said, "Probably not." I walked out and went to another salon where they are all vaccinated. I also hope to get an even better cut there. I am truly furious that she did not want me to look for someone vaccinated. What nerve. She did not even have the courtesy to call me ahead of the appointment to tell me that she would not cut my hair. She cancelled it, not me.

When I first moved to Alamogordo, I tried to get a haircut here. There were three women all gossiping inside. Only one lady was being tended to and they didn't acknowledge me for over a minute. I left and never came back.
