I signed up for a membership at ZIPS in Alamorgordo, NM. A few months in I canceled membership. However they continued to charge me for 8 months. Called and was told to email my bank statement showing all the random charges for the last 8 months, has sent 3 emails and the seem to have ghosted me and have not responded. Poor customer service. I'm not the first person this has happened to and I'm sure I won't be the last. Customers be weary of getting a membership.

I have been a member here for 4 years. It started as a big wave, and when it was, it was a great place. Now that zips has taken over, it is a complete joke. Half of the stuff in the tunnel is broken and they are so lazy now that they don't even pre soak your vehicle. Today I took my car in because it was dirty. I pulled to the vacuums to clean and noticed that absolutely nothing that was on my car had been removed by the wash. I literally had to use towels to wipe down the entire car to get it clean. I'm cancelling my membership for two vehicles because there just is not any value. If I have to wipe down my car with towels to get it clean, I might as well go somewhere and scrub it myself, or, better yet, buy my own equipment to use at home. I have read the reviews where people say they were still charged after cancellation, so I will not only cancel, but let my bank know that charges from this joke of a business are fraudulent. These idiots won't even answer their phone. Disgraceful and pathetic.

The Zips on S White Sands is the best. The girl that helped me was very professional. My new sticker wasn't working, she took the time to find out why it didnt work. The new Zips is a disappointment, my car is never clean and there are never ant towels.

I canceled my membership but was still charged for another month. When I call I only get a recording. I had to cancel my bankcard and was charged a fee for that! It's been since August and still have not received a refund. This does seem like a scam! You can't talk to anyone and they just don't care. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Never give this company your credit card info!

I have reached out to Zips multiple times in attempt to get a refund for them charging me 2 months after I cancelled the subscription. You can’t actually call the facility because they direct all questions to be answered in person, kind of hard to do when you are 16+ hours away. Tried calling customer support and they told me they can’t refund the amount I was charged AFTER cancelling that they charged me almost 2 MONTHS after cancelling because they “don’t have access to do so”. The customer service would not give me a contact of anyone to call and said that I had to go in person after reiterating numerous times that I do not live in New Mexico any more and am 16 hours away from the location. I find it absolutely absurd that after cancelling a subscription I get a random bill of $53, 2 months after. I finally got in contact with someone through their email but after I told them details about how I was charged, there was no response and am yet to hear back. I usually don’t write reviews, but Zips car wash in Alamogordo has to be the worst that I’ve dealt with when trying to get the money back that was fraudulently taken from my account. I would give negative stars if possible.

It was good car wash before zips bought it, now. It's more expensive and less service. I was a regular time to find a better place .

Signed up at the new location with their special promotion while my garage is waiting repair. When I went to the location to cancel before the promotion expired. They were closed for several days for repair. After reading various messages concerning the car wash. Someone recommended taking it to the other location. Which I did, but how convenient it wasn't seven days prior, so they charged me over $50. Even though I called and explain the situation, they denied my refund.

My wife and I will no longer be using Zips. They do nothing to clean the bugs off the front. Was told to run the car through again for free but whats the point? Still noone to scrub the front end. Was told by staff management will no longer allow staff to "prep the front end."

This is my 2nd review. I have now been going to this location for a year now. I purchased an unlimited monthly plan and go there very frequently. I have experienced nothing but great car washes and very friendly service. Its always a pleasure. Unfortunately, I tried the new location on the north side of town and was refused service unless I changed my membership to their location. I understand that your memberships are for any location and I do not appreciate the other location trying to get me to change my membership to their location instead of yours. I understand there is probably nothing you can do to stop the other location from deceiving customers. I just wanted to let you know I will not be changing my membership. I hope your corporate office will be able to fix this issue before it causes any damage to your business. Thank you. I have enjoyed your service and hope it continues for a very long time.

I went there several times to quit my membership because you can't call them. It's just a recording. They said they would refund my credit card but never did. So I went there again and some girl checked on her cell phone. And said I would get two months refund. And one side of my car has scratches from the brushes. I clean my car and I know what's on there and what are new scratches. My sister said that happened to her vehicle too. I just want my refund!!!

I asked for them to cancel my membership 2 months ago 4 different times. I have not used the car wash not one time since. They are still taking money out of my account. When i go and ask they say they havn't got everything switched over to the "new system" yet. And when they do i will get my money back. We shall see about that.There is never any one that knows whats going on over there to help me. But i will try going by there again tomorrow because guess what they just took even more money out. More than the amount was paying before even.

Zips Car Wash doesn't clean the vehicle: left bug splatter on windows, grill and body. The entire truck, tires & undercarriage didn't look washed. The outside vacuum and Cleaning Station are awesome.

Zips has been repeatedly reported for overcharging monthly subscribers to the tune of as much as 10x over advertised price. When customers call the main office they're sent back to the local operation, which is the one making the charges.

We have a monthly pass for the works on our 2 vehicles. Does that give an idea of what we think of Zips. Going through the car wash portion is like an e-ticket ride at Disneyland (younger people, ask your grandparents). Once finished you have two options. One, just drive away. Two, stop and use their vacuums, microfiber towels to do a final wipe off and make use of the spray cleaner for the small areas. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
