What a joy, each and everytime I step inside J On Madison salon I feel welcome. From the moment I walk in, the front desk and entire staff is warm and welcoming. Nicole is the highlight for this store for me. Not only was the combination of the balyage and foil highlights beautifully done, but it made my day. I can’t get over how lovely and accommodating Nicole, and the rest of the staff at J On Madison were during my visit, I will be back soon.

I’ve been a client at J on Madison, Angela has cut my fine wavy hair and her hands are like magic, my hair had so much volume and grew in so well! So talented and also such a sweetheart, I’d recommend her over and over again.

I willingly drive almost 4.5 hrs each way to get my hair done here after I moved out of the area!! Each and every time I come here I leave feeling absolutely wonderful. Normally J does my hair but she wasn't available......... yet I didn't hesitate to book with Angela as I have confidence that J on Madison only has the best of the best!! Angela was simply OUTSTANDING!! She took the time to talk to me to find out what I was looking for and made some suggestions based on my fine hair. She absolutely knocked it out of the park!!! My highlights and cut exceeded my expectations and I absolutely LOVE the results!! I cannot recommend her highly enough!! She is truly an expert at what she does, and is so welcoming, personable and kind! Thank you Angela!!!

Absolute best salon in the area — staff are incredibly talented and so sweet. Ive gotten my hair cut and colored multiple times and always leave so so happy. Cannot recommend them enough. Also amazing for skin care treatments! Nancy is amazing, the Madison ave facial is a MUST HAVE.

I’ve been seeing Angela here for years. She is so good at what she does and an excellent stylist. Oftentimes I ask her for her opinion on what will look good and I always love whatever she decides for me. I usually get a balayage with long layers and a face frame and I’m always blown away by the color and how natural it looks. She is super talented and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. If you come here definitely book with Angela!

This is a great salon. I went for the second time the other day - the staff is super welcoming, and it's a very comfortable environment. I got my hair cut with Angela and LOVE what she did. We sat for a short consultation and then while I was getting shampooed, she showed me a couple photo examples to make sure she understood what I was looking for. I am beyond satisfied and look forward to my next appointment. Thank you!

Staff was extremely welcoming! Interior was beautifully decorated. Nicole has been my stylist for years, and trust me, you will NOT be disappointed! She does foil and balayage highlights. I get so many compliments on my hair thanks to her! She is the only one I trust to do my hair ?

Today was my very first visit to J on Madison. Let me start by saying the establishment is adorable from the moment you walk up the front steps. It’s a home renovated into a salon and being an Architecture teacher I appreciate the way the owner kept the characteristics of the original home. It’s beautiful! Everyone is extremely welcoming and polite.I made an appointment with Angela (after receiving multiple recommendations from a group page from my town) and I am so happy I listened. Angela is the hairdresser I have been looking for all my life. She listens to what you want and gives it to you! She was eager to help me “embrace” my curls after years of heat damage and frustration. Angela took the time to give me the cut I wanted and explain to me the products I need to use and the care I need to take with my hair. She’s so cute too! Sweet and easy-going. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my hair in her hands. I’m looking forward to my curly journey now that I have Angela to guide me!Services: Hairstyling
