“PROS: this place was very nice. Historically a train station that was renovated into a shop. The staff was nice, prices were amazing, variety of items plentiful, everything was organized, and the items were good quality. There was even loads of parking CONS: the place wasn't all that big which caused congestion inside. OVERALL: I will definitely come back here as this is an amazing place to go thrifting”

“Mr. Douglas Struyk made available CHCC's Commons auditorium for voting for Wyckoff's Districts 4 & 8 on election day. He and his staff frequently checked in throughout the day to ensure the Poll Workers and voters were provided with whatever they needed to have a successful day. On behalf of my Poll Worker Team, I want to express my most sincere gratitude for your genuine concern and care for us and for providing delicious meals and refreshments. Mr. Struyk is a great leader, and it's obvious why CHCC is recognized for its standard of excellence!”

“I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible experience my family and I had with Peace4paws, especially with Amanda leading the way. From the moment we inquired about rescuing a pup, we felt welcomed and supported. Amanda's warmth and kindness instantly put us at ease, making the adoption process smooth and stress-free.

Her knowledge and passion for animal welfare were evident as she guided us through each step, ensuring we found the perfect match for our home. Amanda took the time to understand our lifestyle and preferences, ultimately introducing us to Oakley (formerly known as Wally).

Not only did Amanda facilitate the adoption process seamlessly, but she also went above and beyond to provide resources and support even after Oakley came home. Her dedication to the well-being of animals and genuine care for adopters like us truly sets Peace4paws apart.

We are forever grateful to Amanda and the entire Peace4paws team for bringing Oakley into our lives and making our adoption journey a truly unforgettable one. We wholeheartedly recommend Peace4paws to anyone looking to add a furry friend to their family. Thank you for everything!”

“The Ridgewood Women's club is an absolutely beautiful venue that I highly recommend to anyone. My wife and I threw a baby shower the size of a wedding there (140-150 people), and the event space was perfect for it. The women who run the club are professional, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and we can't thank them enough. Everyone should look into this place for a large event. You won't be disappointed.”

“This is the first time I have ever gone to City Green. I actually never even realized it was there. I was impressed but the vegetables they had and understand that they have a large festival the weekend before or after thanksgiving. Will keep an eye out for that.”

“We took the moonlight kayak experience and it was fun! Very good equipment, and they ensure that they give everyone a light (to track) and a whistle (in case of emergencies). Unfortunately, on the night we went out, there were many clouds and we just got a tiny glimpse of the moon. But the overall kayak experience through the marshes and under the bridges was amazing and is a total value for money! When they say only for experienced kayakers, believe them because they go at a very fast pace, especially towards the end. There is a small washroom near the river to use, but it is not very clean and also has no lights. We got drenched by the end of the tour, and regretted not taking a change of clothes! The actual launch point for the kayak is a 10-15 minute walk from the Secaucus station.”

“I lived at Packanack for 46 years with my children. It was always a friendly, inclusive place to live. It is welcoming to all new comers, no matter what their faith, creed or nationality, should be. Please keep it that way. Accept all, tall or short, gay or straight, Hispanic, Italian, Irish, Jewish, Asian or Muslim. We are all one in the sight of God. This beauty should be enjoyed by all. “Our district's 18-21 Transition Program opened last year amidst COVID, so it was very difficult to develop opportunities in the community for my students. We were very excited to connect with Greens Do Good, and our year changed as student internships began. The experience at the farm is unique. Students are passionate, and very proud when working alongside GDG staff to contribute to the success of the farm.We are very grateful for our partnership with GDG. In addition to the internships, they employ students, and bring people together for projects that will improve the lives of individuals with special needs. They continue to be an amazing resource for our students and their families.Thank you for all that you do!Michael - Transition Coordinator at STEPSS Program”

“I cannot say enough how this place has helped me within the last 2yrs. I would like others go down there on line and was having issues trying carry it all until one day an employee reached out to me and asked if I was disabled since they saw my license plates. I usually don't play the oh poor me thing bcuz I'm disabled so I n ver stated my struggle since they opened there doors to me without questions. A representative asked for my number and explained that a new program was starting and I would have to qualify to get home delivery and I do. Thank you CUMAC. They also reached out to me to help me see if I qualify for anything else and that was just recent. Jenny is who I met with and made me feel so comfortable and addressed all my concerns to get me the additional help I need. This place truly helps the community.”

“The information provided by those giving one star is complete inaccurate. This facility works very hard to provide proper services to the children and families they serve. I was using their services in the 1990's and am still involved today. Best place ever.”

“Excellent adult swim courses. Scott and Ellie do a really good job at teaching adults with little to no experience how to swim. If you barely know how to float, this is a good start. My son has told me the boys locker rooms need some loveAll the instructors are dedicated to ensuring younger student pass their swim levels. The lifeguards could be a little bit more attentive during classes, they sometimes look spaced out”

“I have my girls attending summer camp at the Y. They also went to the Y when they were doing virtual learning and they enjoy their time their. They learn so much and the staff is excellent. It’s difficult to find caring staff. Their learning modules are important to me but the most important thing is to make sure my children are in good hands. I can rest assured when I drop my kids off that they will be safe. I would never hesitate on my choice for child care or summer camp. The YMCA is great. Definitely let your kids try it out and see how they enjoy their time at the Y.”
