Darrin gets the job done! I wanted to be able to run my dog off leash on our large property and call him back when necessary. My Rupert is able to do just that now with a strong recall! Darrin is an honest, open dog trainer that tells it like it is. It was a pleasure working with and learning from him! I know my dog enjoyed his time with Darrin and is so grateful for his new found freedom running free. I would recommend On Command and will reach out to him in the future for additional dog training needs.

Darrin is an exceptional dog trainer. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful and the best trainer. He helped train our young puppy and she now gets so many compliments on how well behaved she is. He does everything from crate training to off leash training. Our dog gets to run freely because she’s off leash trained and go in public with us because she is so well behaved. If you are looking for a reputable and highly skilled dog trainer I highly recommend On Command Dog Training.

Darrin is an amazing dog trainer. More than that, he understands kanine behavior to a level I never could have learned from a book or from friends… I have two golden doodles. We spent weeks together, once a week Darrin coming to the house for probably 10-12 weeks. Worth every penny. Everyone comments on how well my dogs behave. We addressed everything from house training, interaction with other dogs and people, crating, chewing, walking, and I’m so glad we did it early on. Don’t wait! And don’t look for the next guy.

Darrin is a Dog Training Sherpa! On Command was a life saver for us as first-time dog owners who thought it was the perfect time to reward our son's persistent pleas to get a dog (during COVID). Little did we know when welcoming Rosie into our lives she would provide the added 'joy' of being a Super-Spicy-Quite-the-Handful-Little-Landshark of a puppy. Over the course of our time with Darrin, he HELPED TRAIN US, as much as Rosie, on what it means to be good dog owners and what's expected of her. Having a well-behaved dog is absolutely life-long journey and it takes a commitment I found myself questioning more than once along the way (seriously, she was a handful). While our formal training is over and Rosie is almost 2 now (still full of that puppy energy), I'm grateful for our decision to invest in training and having been given the tools to create a happy dog-loving family.PS: we ultimately decided to incorporate an e-collar as part of our training. I appreciate this is not for everyone and I respect that (it was not a 'required' part of training). I too had my personal reservations at first and as I learned more about how to incorporate tool this into our training it was a game change!

We had an incredible experience with Darrin training both of our large pups! Our boy Seamus a 70 pound pit mix, and Belle our 85 pound black lab mix. Darrin is a professional that took the time and attention with both dogs to understand fully where our problem areas were and work with us to help correct them, and then constantly working on reinforcing the commands and actions we wanted. He basically taught US, along with our dogs!! It was extremely eye opening, and effective! We worked with Darrin to implement the new training collars which we still use today. All of the things Darrin taught us are now common practice in our home and we cannot thank him enough for everything we learned in our time together! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Darrin Greene. I adopted my dog who was 2 at the time, an anxious little Yorkie who needed the patience and commitment that Darrin provided. He taught me more things about my dog than just “training.” He taught me how my dog thinks, what helps him feel safe, and how I can be a better owner - less of a “master” and more of a companion. It’s been 2 years since we last met with Darrin and I still talk about the amazing experience we had and I still get compliments on how well-behaved my dog is in public. I can confidently say that my dog lives a better life because of On Command Dog Training and I would recommend him 10/10 times.

Darrin has taught me more than any dog trainer ever has. Darrin not only helped me to be able to control my reactive dog, and crazy puppy, but made it a point to educate me along the way. He made sure I knew why we were practicing what we were practicing. He took the time to train me just as much as (if not more) than my pups. My favorite thing about Darrin is although a lot of trainers use the same techniques, I've come to realize a lot of trainers find their technique and use it for every dog. Darrin recognizes that not every dog is the same, and I find that he trains the dog in front of him, based upon that dogs needs. It's very clear Darrin is well educated, very professional, and knows what he's doing.I struggled handling my 60lb goldendoodle who was a COVID puppy. She was reacting at people, dogs, blowing leaves, cars driving a little too fast, and more. She now walks calmly on a leash beside me, never reacting, thanks to Darrin. I also wanted some support with puppy training when I found out my puppy was partially blind, and he helped me to guide a puppy to be confident instead of fearful even when missing one of his senses. I now CONSTANTLY get compliments on how calm, well behaved, & well mannered my 10 month old poodle puppy is. Darrin is seriously the best, and you will not regret using him!

We have used Darrin to train our 3yo mastiff/newfoundland and our 10 month old lab. He is amazing. Carmen is 130lbs and a breeze to walk on a leash. She is amazing around other dogs and our 2 small children. Griffin is a 75lb lab full of energy. Thanks to Darrin I am able to walk them together myself. He taught me the skills to continue life long training. He was recommended by our vet and I so grateful for all his help.

Awesome trainer and a heck of a guy. One of the most knowledgeable people I have met when it comes to dogs. Went through 4 different trainers until I met Darrin. He quickly and painlessly diagnosed and fixed the problem we were having with both of our dogs. I now can walk my dog off leash, even around other dogs and have zero issue with running off or not being able to control him. Thanks Darrin for all you did for our family! Forever grateful!

Not a "client" per say, but Darrin's training tips and videos on Facebook are wonderful and offer a ton of knowledge and insight into the inner workings of dog training and how dog's "tick". I have referred a number of friends to those videos when they were having issues with their dogs and told them to contact Darrin with any questions and for help. Keep up the good work and I could only wish that he offered a board and train but I realize that not everyone is set up to do so.Raina Anderson

If we could give Darrin more than 5 stars, we would. He made our lives so much easier since he began working with our dog. He became like a friend to us and we (as well as the pups) looked forward to every session!
