I have been going to happy nails for a few years now and have been noticing that they have been rushing my nails on purpose and messing them up to some extent, but I still go because they’re near my house and I do not have a vehicle. This time I went, the nails did not last for up to two weeks and I went in to have them re-glue it and they use the adhesive glue and the nail glue to glue my nails, and it came off two days later again. I went back and asked to get a refund for just the nails because I got my nails done and a pedicure and he refused to give me a refund for my nails even though I’ve probably spent $1000 there over the course of the last four years…. Terrible customer service and they are discriminatory.

I went to get a pedicure and while getting my feet done I noticed the tools they use to clean your feet are not sanitized. She dipped the tools in the water (where you soak your feet) and placed it back in the drawer. Couple of days later one of my toes became infected. Don’t recommend for pedicures

Gel manicure started chipping not even a week after application. Gel polish residue was left on my skin, and my nails did not look professionally done. Would not recommend coming here.

I’ve been going to this place for well over 5 years and I’m incredibly disappointed. I switched nail techs (who I will not name) solely because this certain nail tech fit better with my work schedule. The previous nail tech used UV builder gel on me and they never, ever broke. The new nail tech used a powder consistency that I did not know was acrylic, as the tech did not tell me, and now they’re all breaking, drawing blood and peeling skin off with it. It took a certified cosmetologist OUTSIDE of this salon to warn me that the tech was using acrylic against my knowledge. I’m not certified or have any knowledge of nail art so I would never know the difference, and now I’m left with weak nails that weren’t weak from the start. It’s no hard feelings against them, but they need to do better.

Most techs are good, tho the owner’s wife is very nasty and all talk behind your back in their language. The owner Richard isn’t nice either, unpleasant place! Beware. Will not go back. Many other salons.

This is something I really don't want to ever have to do. But after a week and it settling in more and more what happened to me I felt it was important for me to do this. Maybe the owner Richard will see this and make some changes. I'll start first with the way they handled the unexpected leave of one of their best and most talented nail technicians Annie. They didn't tell anyone. I called and made my appt and they told me Annie was on vacation for a few months. I found this odd b/c the last time I saw her she never mentioned that to me. I said ok and made an appt with someone else. When I got there my nail technician told me Annie quit and they didn't want to tell anyone over the phone. Maybe bc they didn't want people to not come back b/c i was in fact going there b/c of her. I found a new tech I liked and have been going for months. Fast forward to last week. I called on Monday to make an appointment for Wednesday. I asked for Wednesday b/c the rest of the week I was working later. I realized after the fact I never got the text confirmation I always get. Wednesday came around and I left work a little early so I called and I asked if I could come in any early since I was out early if not I'll go home and change first etc. The woman who answered who I have never spoken to before told me I missed my appt it was Tuesday. I said I think that was a mistake b/c I wouldn't have made my appt on Tuesday b/c I work late, she told me I was wrong an started to get agitated with me raising her voice. We went back and forth a few times saying the same thing, then she said " you made mistake and she waited for you and you didn't come, your problem" I was now upset the way she was talking to me so I asked her nicely , "i'm sorry I didn't catch your name?" she said " you don't need to know my name" and hung up on me!! I called back again she answered I asked to speak to Richard the owner and she hung up on me. I called again she answered again, I said I asked to speak to Richard and she hung up again. I called 5 times, then she BLOCKED MY NUMBER! I drove there and I was so mortified b/c I'm sure there were people there listening to this. I walked in and asked to speak to Richard privately, He walked over the the front desk and I started to tell him what happened he said he heard the whole thing. So he heard this and didn't intervene? I told him I have been coming here for 15 years and he said I know you have and said I'm sorry do you want someone else to do your nails now? He said the woman who answered left. I agreed to get my nails done now I wish I hadn't. Some woman I never met or saw did my nails, didn't do a great job, changed the shape of my nails and then when I went to pay I was charged 10$ more then usual for the most simplest design. Richard didn't take anything off of my charge after what his employee just did to me. Not only did he not take anything off but he charged me 10$ more then usual. I have referred dozens of people her, tons of family and I am now leaving this place and will bring my business and anyone I know elsewhere, This was just unacceptable. How can I go back after a women yelled at me, hung up on me 5 times, blocked my number and Richard the owner had to unblock me before I left so I can call and make my next appt, which I will not be doing. Sorry for this long story but I feel its important to share this kind of experience and especially after seeing so many bad reviews, I know it's not just me.( Picture is the mediocre nail design I paid 10$ extra for. as you can see the nails look like I've had them on for weeks it's been 1 day. )

My daughter was going to this place for her acrylics, Kim was ok, but once, one of the nails snapped out the very next day. The main guy there fixed it. He put a bulky nail with a totally different color (the nails were salmon and he did a pink nail) he didn’t want to admit he made a mistake, he even said that the color of the nail will change the next day. He was very rude, he charged us to fix and he didn’t want to hear anything. Now we go to the place close by. Very nice service, polite, and better quality nails, same price.

Not clean. Inexperienced. Unable to translate in English. Very rude .I worked close to the salon a decade ago and it was owned and operated by different people . Tried it because I was in the area… never going back

First time here and never coming back. They did not do any nail prep or file properly. All my nails are different shapes and sizes. After spending so much time trying to correct and show the nail tech what’s wrong, it just became too tiring. I shouldn't have to tell someone how to do their job. Save your time and money.

I'm a new customer to happy nails. I've Been going around 3 or 4 months now. I've believed to have a good relationship with my nail technician Khloe until today. I have gotten my nails done on Thursday my nail broke Saturday morning, I called to let her know I'll be there Monday morning. When she came in she was so dismissive she really wasn't interested in what happened to my nail, she told me I will have to wait, because she doing a full set, I said it's only one nail .she said then some one Elsa can fix it, I couldn't believe she was being so rude. Don't waste your time it's a lot of other salons. Run for the hills.

Horrible! DONT COME HERE ! My nail popped off the very next day and they fixed it for $10 (for one nail) when it was their fault for poor work!! The man was screaming at me when I told him it wasn't the correct color. One nail was pink, the other was orange. Front desk guy, owner, so rude !!

I was a loyal customer of Happy Nails for over 5 years and scheduled a gel manicure religiously every two weeks. I recently received a gift card for my birthday and attempted to use it to pay for my nail services. I was told that the gift card had no balance and that someone apparently used it the day after it was purchased. Confused as the card had been in my wallet since it was given to me, I asked to speak to the owner for assistance. Instead he immediately began loudly yelling at me and accusing me of being a liar. I asked him to lower his voice but he continued to bang at his head and scream about me in his native language, drawing the attention of every technician and patron in the salon. This went on for what felt like an eternity. I was completely mortified. Needless to say, the gift card was not honored and afterwards I drove directly to their competitor where I received excellent service and more importantly, was treated respectfully. What a disgusting way to treat a long time customer!Service: Acrylic nails
