The Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Sephora location offers one of the loveliest boutique beauty experiences. From the first phone call with Julia to discover when the best days and times are to secure a personal shopper appointment, to the questions answered by Alex F. about the available product, brands and selection suitable for me, Woodcliff Lake has the most knowledgeable, patient and kindhearted and professional staff I have ever encountered in the industry. If you are uncertain about what to use and purchase, you can rest assured that your doubts will disappear once you speak with these expert Beauty Advisors. Both Alex F. and Julia have provided me with quality assistance and fabulous information.I cannot wait to visit them for my very own personal shopping Sephora session!!!

horribly mismanaged Sephora. the store manager Samantha os literally on her phone and gossiping the entire time. The store is a complete mess. Disgusting. Also, NO ONE knew anything about fragrances! Not a clue.

I ALSO do NOT recommend anyone coming to this Sephora location. The store manager SAMANTHA is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Don't even bother visiting or applying for a job here because you will be treated horribly.

The store manager Samantha White's hiring phone call interview was extremely negative. I hope the call was recorded for corporate and other leaders to review.During the phone call, I was asked to connect via Linkedin which had a photo of me on my profile. Right after which I received an unfavorable email stating that I would not be moving forward in the hiring process. That along with Samantha Whites insinuation barely 3 minutes into our call saying she likes to advise people to take different roles lower than what they applied for and that you have she already has so many candidates lined up which honestly degraded me, belittled me and indicates that she prematurely made up your mind prior to accurately accessing me as a fair candidate for the role after seeing a photo of me. Allegedly.I understand there might be a bias as to me being a Person of Color AND a Male (at the same time) in the industry Sephora predominantly falls under but I genuinely hope that wasn't counted against me as I fail to see any other reason for not moving forward. The experience and product knowledge I possess in all the fields that Sephora sells their products in is second to none.If there is an agenda of Samantha White to only have a certain type of personnel working at this location, then it is illegal to discriminate based on a protected class. Multiple reviews state things like "All of you girls were excellent!" Key Word GIRLS. Which concerns me because Sephora should be an equal opportunity employer and it was not in this case. Samantha White should not ask to connect with potential hires on social media prior to their employment, including LinkedIn. I would like to escalate my concern immediately as my personality and qualifications go above and beyond, as they always have. Kindly provide me with your direct supervisor's contact information or an HR email as soon as possible.I've reached out to Samantha White twice via email requesting her supervisor's contact information to escalate my concerns and my emails have been completely ignored.Overall an extremely unprofessional experience.

This past Saturday, I went to the new Sephora in woodcliff lake. It’s right next to whole foods and I was told just opened this past summer. Everything was new, clean, and organized! Upon entry someone was standing by the door and immediately asked if I needed help. This was refreshing because it is typically so difficult to find someone to help you in any makeup store. She helped me find a natural looking charlotte tillbury concealer and she waited until I was all set instead of rushing me! Service was impeccable! I loved the store and the workers so much that I ended up staying another 3 hours after the first encounter. I literally only came in for a setting spray and I left with so many things that I have been meaning to buy from Sephora. The difference this time was because I had people that were passionate about helping me create the look! They had a lot of the shades that are typically sold out in popular brands like nars, too faced, etc. I am a brown skin girl so this definitely important for me! Everyone was so friendly and helpful.A woman named Priscilla with blondish hair helped me all around the store for about 2 hours. She literally tried every product I was interested in on my face and tried several shades until I was satisfied with the look. I finally found the perfect liquid rare beauty blush for my skin tone!!! I have been looking for the perfect shade in other Sephoras and they were always sold out. Priscilla was knowledgeable and so friendly! She walked around the store with me for two hours helping pick out the best products for my skin tone and skin type. That’s what was so great! Not every Sephora employee knows what to recommend for your skin type and that’s why at other places, I would end up with great products but wrong for my skin type. After Priscilla had to go to lunch, Alex helped me. She was so sweet and knew so much about make up. She even taught me how to do eye shadow for beginners! You can tell that she and everybody else at this location enjoy their job. Every time I asked Priscilla or Alex a question, they were excited to help me. You can’t teach this type of passion and dedication to your craft. They didn’t even get paid commission on everything I bought! This is proof that that they just genuinely want to help you enhance your features and look as best as possible. Lastly, when I went to checkout, a girl named Alyxx helped me. She was very personable and upbeat throughout the whole transaction. You can tell she really loved makeup because hers was flawless. She’s the main reason why I decided to apply for a Sephora credit card. Way to upsell! She wasn’t pushy at all, just extremely sweet and the benefits of the credit card just made sense. She explained everything so clear and precise that it was a no brainer to apply. This experience felt like I was just walking around the store with a friend helping me choose makeup because they are so good at it. Usually shopping for make-up can be a daunting, tedious task, but these employees in particular make you feel at ease. Special thanks to Priscilla for taking the time to help me, share her wisdom, passion, extremely positive disposition and expertise in the makeup field. All of you girls were excellent! To not feel like I was being sold anything and the pure genuineness that I was shown is definitely going to put this location lightyears above the rest!

I’ve been coming to Woodcliff Lake for years and even worked at the plaza across the street Tices Corner. The staff at this store don’t know the products or brands. When I spoke to the manager Lindsey about a return, she was rude and disrespectful. Don’t bother going to this location when Paramus Park is nearby. You’re better off going there or Garden State.

The staff are absolutely clueless on the products they sell. I just wasted so much time going to another store they ensured I could get the product at. Apparently they do not sell a particular line in any store, only online. Call before you shop.

Definitely found my new flagship sephora store. This is a brand new 3 month old store and it carries a wide variety of brands. They have everything in stock. Free surface parking lot available. I ordered pick up via the sephora app and samantha had my order ready to go for me within a matter of hours.
