update to my 12/16 review. I WAS WRONG, I was the dummy, and their deal was fair. We think we know their business, we think we know what our stuff is worth, and we dont trust car dealerships. I say give this family business a try .Zak followed up on my review, called and asked us to come in and talk, wanted to know the problem and explained everything openly and clearly. He actually showed me what I wanted, and I was lookin at the wrong packages for the truck I wanted and would not have been happy if I bought it MY way. We were treated as friends, and actually bought a beautiful truck. I already recommended them to another family member, and they are now my truck guy. They accepted my apology, but now it is public

Beware of false "deals" and deceptive marketing. We currently have a lease with 4 months remaining on it with Barlow, and we have been inundated with calls, emails and mailers begging us to turn it in early because they really want our car. I spoke with a salesperson over the phone to confirm this, and was told to just come down once we decide upon the car options (color, interior, etc) to trade our car in early for the newest model. We were told that it didn't even matter if we were over our miles, we could drive off in a new model for the same as what we are paying now!Fast forward to yesterday, as my wife and I both took the morning off from work to come down to Barlow GMC. There was no "special offer" waiting for us when we got there. Instead, we sit and do the grueling back and forth in an office with a salesperson named Steve, who leaves us sitting in the office as he does the old "let me go run the numbers and see what we can do for you" shtick. He comes back some time later to inform us of the great news that our new lease will only be $200 more per month than our old lease. For the same exact car.Say what? That's not what these mailers and text messages and emails are telling us, Steve. "Oh, those are all auto-generated" he said. So for us to drive off with the same car that we have now will cost us an extra $7,000 by the end of the lease. No thanks. His parting advice to us as we left his office after a complete waste of our time was "you can blame Biden for this financial mess and leasing options!"Also be warned that GMC has gone to battle against Carmax. We have an ACTUAL offer from Carmax to purchase our car, but they are not allowed to buy it from us because we financed the lease through GMC. We could easily drop the car at Carmax today and walk away free and clear of any leasing mileage, but Carmax told us that we have to get approval from GMC. That type of control over customers has ensured that I don't do any future business with GMC.I love our car, but this hassle is not worth it. Lesson learned, and this is our last GMC and definitely the last time we step foot into the Barlow location. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money and car shop somewhere else.

I waited 6hrs for an oil change and AC check. Very disappointed. I spoke with service person 2 times concerning my vehicle. My first 3 experience was great but the most recent was bad. My whole day was wasted.

My car died unexpectedly. I had it towed to Barlow Buick on a Wednesday. They said they were really busy and would not be able to look at my car until Monday. They called me early the following day saying my car needed a new engine for 6000. My car is a 2015 Buick, no prior issues. I am convinced they did not even look at my car. Instead they gave me the most expensive option to fix the car. I had to pay them 160 for looking at the car. Then I got it towed to a place near by and they fixed my car for under 100 dollars. It was a issue with the gas. Do NOT use their mechanics. They are lazy and money hungry. I called today requesting refund. Still waiting to hear back. I even said I would trade the car in and buy a new car from their dealership and they offered me 200 for my car.....

Ugh. I'm so sad that things weren't as amazing at Barlow as I thought it would be. 2 weeks after my warranty ended (down to the day...and also, it was never explained to me that my warranty would only be 2 years somehow) my check engine light came on for the first time. I didn't worry because I thought everything was covered. I told them what the diagnostic read and it was a low circuit fuel pump. They told me that the car could stop running any minute which scared me to death. Then they tried to charge me $650 to change the part...the same part I found online for $37. The service manager at another Buick GMC couldn't understand why my car wasn't under warranty anymore and gave me strict instructions to call and get it figured out. When I called, they gave me to a salesperson who was trying to convince me to lease another car! Then he started trying to sell me a car. It was insane. When I told him I needed this fixed before I ever consider Buick again, he said he would have someone call me. That was 6 weeks ago. I'm still waiting for a call. I'm done with Buick. I'll never go back.

Car I purchased in September needed to be serviced.2015 Buick with only 22k miles at time of purchase.I purchased the Ally 'Major Guard' warranty ~ so I set the appointment at the dealership. No issues with this ~ she was polite, pleasant and professional. I was able to drop my car off Sunday night.I didn't anticipate them having my car for more than Monday.Things escalated quickly ~They had it for several days. All of the sudden I needed $3000 repairs/tires etc.A few things were addressed. The warranty, still waiting on an answer about one item that Ally may or may not cover.I did purchase tires online and had them installed, locally~ for more than half the price. $600Dawn and Jesse were polite, professional. It's just crazy expensive to use dealer for car maintenance.

The service manager Dawn of Barlow Buick service my vehicle I went there for one thing and end up having to pay for other things on my vehicle to get fixed they tried to find other things to fix on your vehicle when you come there and tell him but the problem with your vehicle they want to tell you what other things that's not the problem I almost pay the most almost $3,500 for repairs and my problem still exists and they try to use all the excuses and blame it on low oil pressure the service manager all she is a spokesperson for them she does know nothing about cars or mechanical work she just tells you what she wants to read off the paper very disappointed in a service scam artists. She claimed that all my lines transmission lines antifreeze lines oil lines were leaking and I just went and had it tested cleaned off and none of the lines are leaking at all overcharged you for everything labor parts everything . If the owner was still alive he would not have this kind of nonsense at his facility.
