When I first went to this doctor, everything seemed fine, my last and final appointment was unbelievable..
This doctor needs to retire, he didn’t remember me, then after 4 months of seeing him for the same issue, he says that’s “new”, I asked “do you have the correct chart”
Then he says it nerve pain, then he proceeds to stick his thumb in the area and caused me a great deal of pain, gave me a knee injection that I didn’t need.
Call me a chicken and yelled out to nurse, get the small needle for the chicken, stated that he enjoys hurting people, and the exam was done with the door wide open, no privacy.
Seriously reconsider seeing this old, mean man. That is losing it.
I have been misdiagnosed as well.
One star… more like zero stars.
Beware…

The women that is the upstairs scheduler (think Diane) is so RUDE and COLD. No empathy for patients. Nasty with her responses. As for the office, constantly late with scheduled apt, rescheduled multiple times. And now surgery is being pushed back a week before when I’ve already taken time off. Absolutely ridiculous.

I had a appointment on 1/18\2023 . The nurses there were nice and polite and professional toward me. But once i got to the back to a room my very 1st time there. I was seen by Dr Thomas Obade. I neverd in my life experienced a doctor so rude disrespectful trifling bedside manner impolite he acted like he didn't like black people or a black women bad attitude. I left there crying how this doctor examined me with nastiness. Shame on him that old and rude. I will never go back or refer anyone else there.

Tough to evaluate as a the therapists work when they want to and when I am with them they are usually in their cell phones this can be and is very frustrating There is a sign that says no cell Phones. I'm Sure it's directed to the patients but it should go for the therapist too when they are with clients.

They are nice and they listen. You are treated like a person not a number.

Dr. Holme used to be with this practice and was the first experience we had with Advanced. Frankly, it was a positive one. So, when my son experienced another concussion, it was only natural to want to see him again - the only problem? He's no longer with Advanced. When we found the practice where he is currently practicing, we were told we would need to get a copy of his medical records from Advanced (as they would not provide them to the practice he's with now). My wife drove to Woodbury to retrieve his medical records and when the Impact Concussion Test Result from his baseline test was not in there, she asked the receptionist where it was. She was told by the receptionist they don't have those because they are "in a different system" and they "wouldn't access them because Dr. Holme didn't leave on the best of terms." How can you sacrifice patient care because two doctors have differences? Could you be more ethically compromised or defunct? Malpractice? I believe HIPAA gives patients the right to complete and total access to their medical records! Consulting legal advice. I wouldn't take my dog here.

Find another surgeon/practice. He is too old and is showing signs of the early stages of dementia. The practice has a whole is a hot mess. How do you palpitate a woman's pelvis, manipulate her hip, legs and thighs, causing pain worse than natural childbirth, review her medical records and MRIs, then verbally opine she needs hip" resurfacing or replacement," walk out of the room only to be stopped by me telling him “I have no insurance” for him to then reply “you better get state-sponsored insurance because you need surgery,” in the presence of his PA, Brian Boockoff, PA-C then for both of them not to mention in my medical record Dr. Obade even examined me, let alone opined I needed surgery.I gave Dr. Obade, ample time to amend my record but Dr. Obade doesn't remember examining me and he won't amend my record or give me a refund so I can get a different surgical opinion.Record keeping is vital in a surgeon's practice, if it isn't dementia it's negligence, regardless, there are many good competent surgical practices. Find a surgeon who cares and who takes memorializing evaluations and HIPPA violations seriously.

Cancelled my appointment without telling me and I was completely inconvenienced. Drove 1 hour to get here and had to miss time from work. It’s bad enough that when you get there you are waiting for 45 minutes only for the doctor to be with you for 5 minutes. And his breath stinks omg! Won’t be returning.
