This is the highest priced thrift store in south Jersey. The manager with the ponytail prices everything excessively high. The clothing racks are empty of decent brand clothing and the clothing that isn’t hidden, is overly priced. Noticed the insoles removed from the shoes because they’re too worried a reseller may purchase them. If I were the district manger, I’d be concerned as to where the items are going or hidden. Remember, this is a thrift store where people enjoy shopping for an affordable price. I suggest doing an audit at this location and decreasing the prices of used items to less than retail pricing.

????OVERPRICED!???? This is not thrifting. I went to this store today and wondered why there was not many people at all shopping. I soon found out why. Shame on Goodwill for having dirty old shoes priced at $25. Do they come with a warranty and a 30 day return policy? Of course not. Goodwill gets free inventory. No reason at all to have prices this outrageous. I take it you are paying your employees more since the prices have gone up. Every employee is making $1000 a week now right? You have free inventory and at those prices you can afford to pay your people more. Yes the cost of living and running a business has gone up BUT YOU GET FREE INVENTORY! This was my first time at this store and my last.

I here you, “the economy” and “rising costs everywhere”, these are your reasons for pricing merchandise ridiculously high. Although, I don’t agree with you.But what are your reasons for racking clothes that have bleach stains, dried food, obvious holes and big snags? Why do your shelves have house merchandise piled so high and in an unorganized manner, that it makes it impossible to actually see the items? Why are some of the younger employees so rude?Management needs to learn to manage this store properly. It has gone downhill so badly and I keep hoping someone will get a clue. So for now, I won’t be shopping at the Mantua Pike Goodwill. I’ll check back next year to assess whether it’s worth my time to shop there.

One Employee was very rude and confrontational to me. I was told this person was a manager. This needs to be seriously addressed. If the employee is not happy with their job. they should make a change to do something they feel will make their life more fulfilling and not submit their unhappiness on the customers. This store receives an F- for customer service.

I have been coming here for a decade. The past two years the prices have been crazy high. They say it is for rising rents and costs. However, other thrift stores in the area (not giant corporations like Goodwill) still have extremely reasonable prices. For example, Thrift Village in Glassboro has not had to raise their prices as astronomically as this Goodwill and every other Goodwill I have been to the last few years. There are many privately owned thrift stores in the general surrounding area to this Goodwill. I recommend bringing all donations to privately owned thrift stores such as Thrift Village as to not support this price raising on their freely donated product. You are almost better off shopping at normal stores for their prices except on dollar Sundays (where it is still very hard to find any colored tags if you are not there first thing in the morning).

Since when do you have to unload your entire car. I had a car full of items and was told I could hand the heavy boxes to him. Why bother? I emptied myself and will now bring items to the Salvation Army

I was in this store today and everything was priced very high. Even had tro price stickers on several items. When I took two items to the counter that had two stickers on them, was told I had to pay the higher priced sticker. The color of the lower price was their 50% off color. Asked to see manager. Manager Brandon refused to come out (he was on lunch) and told employee not to sell items. Hum thought the customer was always right! Guess he was to busy eating lunch to even care. I will never go back to this store again!

This place is very overpriced. I was there right before Halloween with my daughter and they had Dollar tree Items for sale priced higher than they would be brand new! Pyrex pans that are $7.97 at Walmart were $7.99 here. It’s really a shame because people are going here expecting a deal. If you really are on a budget find somewhere else to go. This place is ripping the community off!Edit: I see that someone from the store commented they are trying to accommodate the rising rent and I should shop the tag sales. However, if you are selling an item that was originally $1.25 for $5 and with the tag sale it’s 50% off that is still $2.50. The item is still over priced and not worth it for people to patronize this goodwill. The purpose of goodwill is to provide a place for people to come for more affordable items. To enhance the quality of life and dignity of those that shop with you. That is what it says on your website. How are you doing that by over charging them when goodwill is a billion dollar company that receives their items for free to only turn around and up charge the community. Save your excuses and do better!

I can usually find whatever it is I need at the Goodwill stores but unfortunately their prices are getting a little out of hand for second hand items. Just a few more dollars and you can buy brand new items instead. Goodwill I thought was suppose to be cheap so low income people can buy decent clothing etc. NOT CHEAP ANYMORE! Now I rather spend a few extra dollars and come home with " new" clothing etc. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR " EXTREME" PRICE HIKE!
