We love this ShopRite for how well it’s organized, the cleanliness and the selection. Tonight we experienced a problem that should have been an easy fix. It wasn’t to say the least. For name sake, I won’t mention the two managers we spoke to tonight. One being the “night store manager”. After the store issue what dismissed by a front end lead cashier, and the customer service manager, we believed that a store manager would do the right thing. Instead, his response to not correcting a wrongly priced bulk stack that was packed out was “no, I can’t give you that price because it would come out of my pay check”, and “I’m sure you would want that price deal”. Since when do stores, and managers not take store accountability when their employees miss price something. Tonight was a clear example of how this store did not do the right thing, and worse off because of the wait time at check out while all this walking back and forth by the managers, we had two elderly women complaining behind us at the wait. This was not our fault, but your leaders clearly made it our problem. The sign was not on the eaches nor does it say singles, the bulk stack were 6 packs, and every announcement over the PA system was about the great sales going on. Check your prices or check your leaders. It’s not the patrons job to do theirs. It’s the principle!! Embarrassing is an understatement.

This location has been going down hill. The bakery no longer makes fresh bread everything is brought in from other places or it's frozen and thawed out for sales. And what is the deal with checkout? You have these cashier's standing all day give them a seat places smaller than this chain supermarket treat their employees better. And why does it take management forever to answer the call for assistance? The young lady who checked me out had to wait almost 10 mins for someone to show because no one answered the call to check the $100's I used to pay fory food ( next time I'll use my card ). 2 managers at a closed register on their personal phones instead of working and when I asked for their supervisor she was outside on the phone smoking a cigarette. And this isn't the first time this has happened. Unbelievable, I'll do my shopping at the Edison or old bridge locations for the foreseeable future.

Everything is different from FL. My very first job was at a shop right. Things change. You have to bring your own bags to bag your stuff. Only one person knew what a bear claw pastry was. I never understood store cards for discounts. You end up going to the service desk to get one. Why even have them. Maybe they send spam mail to your home address. I'm only shopping there once. I see all these seniors bagging their own groceries that have a hard time. Now in Florida I only know of an Aldi's where you have to bring your own bags. Publix and Walmart spoil us. Publix has bagger's that bag up your groceries and take them to the car for you. Walmart bags for you but you have to take your own cart out. You can ask someone for help and they will have a person who collects the carts to help you out. If FL there's always someone there to help you. You can ask for help. Sometimes you don't have to ask at all they just do it. I'm happy I'm with my parents to help out. They are both disabled on scooters. I don't have to worry about them in FL.

Not a bad place, however, I have a mild complaint, while leaving I happened to see a cashier by the name Melany give a costumer a disgusting attitude and was very rude to others.

Tonight, 7/28/24, I was at self checkout and was experiencing issues with my credit card which took my total focus. During this time my autistic daughter wandered off. I went to customer service and they announced a code over the loud speaker to the staff and what she was wearing. About 10 staff members got on top of it instantly and she was found in less then 2 minutes. Thank you to the staff for how quickly you responded! ❤️ I can't thank you enough!

I normally love this place, in and out in a breeze and the customer service is always great. I had a terrible experience at check out today, I am in retail so I understand having to pack my goods, no problem. I actually rather do it myself because I have a certain way I like to pack my goods. I was asked for my rewards card while packing a full cart on the belt, she just stood there waiting. I said you need it now, or can you put it in. She said I would have to put it in, I said ok so I have to stop putting all this on the belt to put the number in? She said no you can wait till the end, OK so can you start ringing (as I have a toddler whining). She continues ringing but I can tell she was annoyed, as I'm packing up all the goods myself with no help at all from her, asked how many bags I took. I asked for 3 in the beginning and she repeated 3 to me 3 times after I asked. I said I took 3 like I asked for in the beginning, she says 5 or 4, I said I took 3 as discussed when you asked me while I was filling the belt, she then again said 4? I said no ma'am just 3. After all this I was requested to put my reward number in yet again as I'm packing all the food with no help. I said OK so stop getting all the product off here so u can start your next order while I put my number in and pay, literally made me put in my number while all the product was still at end of belt. I put in number and paid then she sat there and watched me trying to pack everything up as she was annoyed she had to wait.
I'm sorry this is so long however I've never had such bad service in this store ever, it was terrible.
Cashiers no longer do anything but ring you up, I di find it quite rude especially how persistent she was while I was loading and unloading the belt.
I am.not a rude person at all, yet again I work in retail so.i am a very patient and understanding customer because I know how hard it.is but I've never been treated so terribly.

I come here a minimum of 2-3 times a week and am ALWAYS disappointed when I go to the bread section and they never have the Pepperidge Farm whole wheat cinnamon bread. It's always hit or miss. Please keep in stock? Thanks.

Check your receipts. Shoprite from Home is horrible. My last $444 order was 1/2 missing. I was accused of lying!
Then she found it. Never apologized. (Manager did apologize when I called the next day, offered $20 refund). Order deliver through Door Dash.
Three people showed up in car and they refused to bring up my side ramp. Now, going through my receipt and I'm missing $40 worth of groceries. Rung up at sametime, but never received. Triying to get in touch manager today.
They've gone downhill since they stopped delivering with there trucks.

This shoprite NEVER HAS MUFFINS AVAILABLE IN THE BAKERY FOR BREAKFAST ANYMORE. I love shoprite bakery, but they never have the blueberry muffins or any muffins for that matter like all the other shoprites. I asked the guy 2 weeks ago who runs the bakery and his response was "They didnt send us any and shrugged his shoulders. Now weeks later they still dont have. A complete bakery involves bread, muffins, bagels and cakes. DO BETTER WOODBRIDGE SHOPRITE. The bakery gained popularity off of the "PUFFIN MUFFINS"
