It was an interesting experience. My pet was treated very nicely, it’s a very clean facility., but also extremely expensive. The pricing is definitely not accommodating people with low income.

Dermatologist Dr Kalosynand her techs are awesome. They quickly and accurately set up a plan for my dog’s skin allergies and infections. This is the fourth dermatologist my dog has visited and they are the best.

We decided to bring our cat here for an ECHO, based on our previous experience with the GSVS facility that used to be in Tinton Falls. We love this new facility - it is brand spanking new and the staff and vets are wonderful. Dr. White was extremely professional, knowledgeable and reassuring and our cat, a special needs kitty, did well during the procedure. Highly recommend this facility.

I will never go to this clinic again and I would not recommend it to anyone. You only pay for her luxury. Stay away if you don't want your pet to die. My bichon had to be rushed to the emergency room because her veterinarian unfortunately wasn't working that day. First of all, as soon as I arrived, before they answered because it was urgent, they first filled out a lot of paperwork and left $4,000.00, totaling almost three hours of waiting. After being seen, the veterinarian assured me that my bichon would not die. Five hours later they called me saying that she passed away. I took the report to my veterinarian to read and in her report the clinic wrote, it wrote very beautifully and didn't really say what the reason for the death was. All I know is that I lost my bichon and left $3,500.00 without being clearly informed of her death.

The worst experience ever!!!!!!!! Brought my cat in because his leg was bleeding, actual blood coming out of his leg. I waited 3 hours to even have a doctor look at him. They told me there were other animals in critical condition, I over heard the doctor talking about asthma … not a bloody animal.. asthma. Completely horrible hospital.

I love this place! I have two senior dachshunds which have been coming here since their old location - now we added a shorkie puppy and we go to this fancy new location. Charlie had surgery here and had to stay over plus multiple visits prior and after surgery. These ppl are great! The doctors are top notch; the place is clean they tell what to expect etc anyone complaining about pricing has never had an issue with an animal - nothing is cheap if you want good health care for your pet just like humans. However now a days there are a ton of insurance companies for animals ppl should look into them when buying an animal. I use a no interest credit card it’s just how it goes they’re family n deserve the best care. This is your place if your animal needs surgery emergency dermatology etc

Where to even begin to what I feel was just a place looking for money not really caring on my dogs care. I took my dog in because my dog was bite by my other dog. The cuts were not deep nor needed stitches. But were Multiple cut and my dog bleed for 5-10 mins to be safe I Decided to take my dog to the nearest vet That was open so late after 10pm. I would say that they did see my dog right away. The first person that came in seemed nice and took my dog back almost Immediately after asking a few questions to see a doctor. After about 10 mins or so of my dog being with the vet. The vet came in informed us about the bite marks and showed us a few pictures. Said he would have to clean her up and give her some Antibiotics and medication. Then he got to prices told us he doesn’t Recommend sedating her as she had a heart murmur. That it would be 800-900 with meds and 1500 if he did in fact need to Sedate her. I ask how did he come up with the price almost look like he picked a number at random. So I ask him how He came up with the price that it seemed like he just picked it at random. He said that he could start cleaning her up and get back to me. Left and came back 5-10 mins later and told us it would be 900 with meds and that someone would come in with With an itemized estimate. Few mins later a young lady who was extremely rude came in and gave us a form with prices and told us we would need to pay 75% upfront and gave us a form with 2 prices. The upfront charge was 825 and the math wasn’t mathing. She ask us to fill the form and bring it to the front. it had a 900 plus taxes and meds and another line for 1100 plus taxes. Nothing was Itemized. As for the break down of the 900 or 1100. So I went back to the front She Immediately had an attitude when I questioned the bill and said it would be Itemized after he was done. The price wasn’t the problem to be Honest, I figured I was in for a much more expensive night. My problem was there was no transparency from the start on the price. I ask her to explain it and she said it was a high and low price plus meds and taxes. I informed her that’s not what the vet told us. She said I don’t know you can ask him when he done. I told her he did not give us a range he gave us a price with the meds. Her Attitude grow even more. I told her I would like to speak to the vet. Her answer was he was cleaning my dog. So I ask her to stop him and explain himself. When he came out and he flat out lied to our face and told us he said 900 plus meds and that emergency rooms are expensive. At that point I told him I would take my dog home and see a local vet in the morning as he never said anything of the Wound were life-threatening. She had a few cuts on top of her head and 2 larger cuts on both side of her ears. He said he would put a Bandage on her cut and put a cone on her head. Once the rude Receptionist called us to the desk she had us sign a form stating that they recommended my pet to be hospitalized for further diagnostic and nursing care. I informed the young lady that we were not Recommended to leave our dog. She said it was a Standard format release form. In other words a Release of liability from the hospital. Long story short believe the Countless reviews with negative Rating pick a different vet. The bill came out to almost 400 without meds just the vet visit and what looks like a shot of methadone that I did not approve. One Positive thing I could say is the young man that first came into our room seem Pleasant from the start and even after passes us our dog before we left. Everyone else had a bad attitude that you can just feel while talking to them. Hope this helps someone avoid taking your pets here.

Place is full of scam Artists. They made me wait 3 1/2 hours to be seen so by time they gave me the joke of and estimate it was too late for me to go anywhere else. The vet botched my dogs tail when they should have just told me tape it up and come back in a couple days. Instead said they put 15 sutures in it and the tail ended up falling off a few days later. They told me they would call me back when I called to complain. I haven’t heard from them yet. Don’t get scammed by Garden State veterinary services stay away!!!

Went with my mother in law to bring her dog in for an ER visit, and a follow up Dermatology visit. As a vet tech myself, I was impressed with the level of care at this hospital. Everyone was great, especially the dermatology team. We were able to get a diagnosis for a semi rare condition, and a treatment plan. I recommend this place 100%. Reading some of the reviews, I wanted to point out one thing. Please remember going to an emergency animal hospital, the wait times can be the same as a human hospital at times. I know it's stressful but sometimes you have to wait. A lot is going on. Thank you GSVS for your help!

Terrible place to take a dog that needs an emergency care. The waiting room was empty so we got high hopes. We waited for over an hour and then decided to go somewhere else so our dog could get a proper care and stitches. Don’t bother going there if you truly need an emergency vet care. A premium price for a place that doesn’t bother seeing your pet.

My dog was admitted here last month for 5k before they would even work on him. Recently my dog got sick again and I brought him to another hospital the hospital released him with meds because his labs were fine but when he came home he continued to decline. I called to speak to a doctor to see if I should wait it out of bring him in. They had me on hold for 30 mins. Hung up on me due to a “technical difficulty” I call back and the receptionist said they never said I could speak to a doctor. This place is all about money they don’t care about your pet. I will never call here or bring my dog back!!!

We had an amazing experience. The two workers in the front who admitted us were very professional and extremely caring. (I believe one's name was Rebeckah) You could see they loved their job and the animals. Unfortunately we were bringing our girl in to get euthanized at 130 in the morning. We couldn't let her wait until the morning as she was in kidney failure. The admission was flawless they took her to insert IV. They brought us to a room and said we could spend as much time with her as we wanted. We took our time until our baby was getting restless. They called the vet it. She was kind amazing and explained procedure to us. She gave the sedative and she closed her eyes to sleep. They flushed then administered the dose that would euthanize her. She went peacefully. They let us spend time with her afterwards. They didn't rush us. It was hard to leave her. I didn't want to leave her. Even when leaving they were still consoling us. Kudos to the three of them for an outstanding job. My baby gained her wings September 15 2024.

We cannot thank Dr. Morges and the staff at GSVS enough for taking such great care of our 14 year old Sandy who required surgery. Dr.Morges called us right after the surgery to let us know how went. We were so impressed by her compassion and the great job she did.
I deeply appreciate the attention and time . Highly recommend!
