I made an appointment for my wife, who needed an eye exam and glasses, and told them about my insurance plan and voucher from DC37. They said they would accept them and only charge me a co-pay. But when we arrived, they asked us to fill out the necessary forms. As soon as we finished the paperwork, they changed their story and said they would charge $150 with my insurance, and the voucher was only for the frame. They lied to me and wasted our time. I'm sorry to write this, but I have to warn all DC 37 members who are thinking of coming here for an eye exam.

I am utterly disappointed and angered by the service at this optical center. I called a week ago to schedule an appointmentand specifically asked for a slot after 5:30 pm due to my work commitments. The staff assuredme that October 17th at 6 pm was available, and I promptly confirmed the appointment. Following their instructions, I shared my insurance informationimmediately afterward.Today, I took time off work and showed up for my appointment only to be told that there was norecord of my appointment. Even after showing them the text message correspondence as proof, I was dismissed with a claim that a text message doesn't equate to a confirmed appointment. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially after I had a verbal confirmation over the phone prior to sharing my insurance details.This experience has not only wasted my valuable time but also shown a complete lack of professionalism and regard for patients' commitments on the part of the optical center. It's appalling and unacceptable to have such disorganization in a healthcare setting where peoplerely on timely and accurate service. I strongly advise prospective patients to consider other more reliable and organized establishments for their eye care needs.

This place is horrible! I went for glasses, they told me 3 weeks! It took 2 months! Don't go here!!! I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I didn't have to!

Extremely annoyed. This location only wants to see patients now that are attached to medical insurance. They refuse to do a straight up exam on me and my daughter. We have union insurance, so our options are limited. Cohens in Woodbridge is listed as an excepted location, but this doctor now has set extended parameters around her services. She will take GVS and CPS insurance, but only if it’s attached to full medical eye exam. Clearly cherry picking here- only wants to deal with bigger $$$$

Fantastic optical with a truly great doctor! Dr. Haberman is knowledgeable and attentive, hearing you out and engaging with you to find the best solution. Her assistant Anna was very helpful in choosing the right frame, and the glasses were ready in an hour! Great experience, can't beat it.

DRY EYE SUFFERERS- this is what you’ve been needing. I went through soooo many specialists, the Cequa, the restatis and most of all the pain of not getting better. Dr. Haberman is is a holistic dry eye whiz. She does gland expression in office and consults and guides on how to get you better. She truly believes your body can heal if you give it a chance. I am taking my daughter in next month and even my sister who will be visiting from out of state.

First time customerSpent 1 hour in the place for “eye tests” bc they were covered from ins (wasn’t planning on taking test but they told me to since they were covered) Saw the dr 20 min at most for her to tell me my prescription was a little worse than current prescription glasses. Tried on many frames finally picked one and paid. As I was leaving they said 2 weeks not counting weekends. Going on 3 weeks now and still no lenses and once the lenses come, they have to still put them in the frame which will take a few days after that. Had they told me it would be this long before I picked a frame and paid than I would have taken my prescription elsewhere. I have never waited this long for a pair of reading glasses. My current ones are broke so I’m up against the wall at this point. Just wish they told me the length of time they were going to be ready prior to paying. Not sure if it’s a Cohens Optical chain policy or just this particular place. The workers were nice though.

I went to the office in the Woodbridge Mall. I been going to them for years and they are amazing. I went there for my yearly visit and Dr. Arora found something and I been doing all the steps that she has ask me to do. My eyes has been doing great. The girls in the front Sam and Anna are amazing. They go over my fees for the glasses and I pay with with PayFlex card and give me all the receipts I would need. Not once I ever had a problem with anyone. They take good care of their patients. It’s more like family when I go there.

My daughter and I were very well taken care of at Cohen’s in the Woodbridge Center Mall. It was our first time at this location, we were greeted with a genuinely warm and friendly “good morning”. The smiles and caring demeanor made the atmosphere feel welcoming.Dr. Haberman and Anna were professional, polite, down to earth and thorough while performing their duties. They were extremely informative, ( We’ve never had an Optometrist show us a photo and explain in great detail about our eye balls. LOL) It is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help.Furthermore, Anna was awesome at helping my daughter choose new frames. Thank you both for your efficiency, helpfulness and kindness, much appreciated.

First and foremost, if you are searching for an excellent eye specialist look no further than Dr. Haberman. Talking about a thorough eye exam with state of the art eye equipment and excellent care and explanation from Dr. Haberman regarding any eye condition you may have and what she provides to treat it. Customer service and total professionalism all around. I love the care that's provided and Dr. Haberman is a keeper once you have experienced the love, caring and time that she put in to help with all your eye care needs.
