I recently had a horrible experience with Bob. I purchased all my home’s furniture from Bob last month and received multiple damaged items . The good thing was , Delivery team noticed the damage and they helped to order replacements multiple times but they continue sending damaged items. I got frustrated with delivery team and decided to cancel couple items which were yet to deliver . They cancelled the items about 10 days ago but they did not refund the money yet . I tried calling Bob’s support about 10-12 times but their response has been very poor . They keep telling me to wait 10-12 business days for refund which makes sense but the credit card should reflect the pending transaction at least . How can a store like Bob makes the customer fool and eat customers money like this. I also received a refund receipt email from Bob and they deducted the taxes and shipping charges for both the items . The problem here is they are not refunding any money now . I am adding few pictures which shows how poor services and damaged products they delivered to my place . One more thing , I paid shipping and installation charges for all my 8 items and they forgot to install multiple screws in multiple products( see the pictures of dining table ) . I will not recommend Bob ‘s furniture to anyone and will never visit this store again.

The sales experience was wonderful. We were greeted at the door and we expressed that we wanted to look around first. The salesman was very nice. We had some questions and he was readily available to discuss. The check out and delivery coordination was a breeze!

Let me be honest, I have been a customer for over 6 years with multiple purchases and generally been appreciative of the value and options.
However, I have had a very poor and distressing experience with their Goof proof service over the last one month. I had purchased their furniture accident insurance (I do that for every purchase for peace of mind, their salespeople actively encourage you to buy it during the buying process assuring coverage for accidental damage). Last month, there was a small accident due to which a wooden plank in the bed I had bought broke. I filed a claim and have been running from pillar to post with their Goof proof partner provider Guardian Protection Products (wrote a separate review for that). I get all kinds of flimsy reasons and delaying tactics for denying the claim, in spite of providing all details of the incident and photos, and satisfying every claim condition including the reason and timing. Their agent filed the first claim information incorrectly and when I filed a corrected claim, I have been denied resolution. Bob’s on their part claim they can’t help because the Goof proof service is provided by a ‘third party’. Well, in that case why do you persuasively sell the protection package to clients who then buy it in good faith considering Bob’s recommended it? I can’t think of a better example of lack of accountability and selling bad deals to trustful customers. I am now ready to take this to the appropriate consumer forums and Bob’s leadership.
As a final note, I have probably bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of furniture from Bob’s and was keenly looking to buy my next family room sofa set from there (visited the store a couple of months ago and even took a quote for a 3 seater from them). But this recent experience has been so disappointing that I am done with them for good and will ask all prospective customers to be very cautious, especially purchases with protection. They have lost a long loyal customer over their inability to make good literally a single broken wooden plank in a bed.
