Just had an amazing experience buying a used car for my daughter. Though it's a smaller lot, the cars offered are quality. My daughter actually liked 3 of the cars on the lot, so there are plenty of great choices.
Vehicle came with a 3 month warranty & she has the option to extend that warranty. After shopping at other disappointing used car lots, I would definitely recommend Avenel Auto Sales.

Picked up a 2008 v6 Mustang from Dennis and his family here. Runs like a dream and was well taken care of. From the second I walked in Dennis was extremely upfront with all the details of the vehicle, options for warranties, recommendations on lenders/rates etc. you can tell he truley takes passion is what he does and it's extremely refreshing to have this experience after a brutal car hunt. There wasn't any hidden fees, weird upselling or shady stuff about history of the vehicle. Full hearted recommendation and will be sending friends or family who would also be looking to buy.

Only one vehicle that I would have considered. Not a lot to pick and choose from. Was basically told either pay full market value or get some fees knocked off if paying cash. No “deals” to be made. Got a strange vibe from the salesman as well. Almost as if he didn’t want to sell me the car. Pushed really hard for a warranty even though he said there wasn’t any money in it for him. The price on the site was also immediately changed to reflect the lower cash only price which caused a little more confusion. Just a sad and overall disappointing experience. As if car shopping isn’t frustrating enough as it is

I had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Avenel Auto Sales. I had a ratty, old 2004 Dodge neon that . Believe me when I tell you it was night and day changing from that car to the other. The experience of the purchase was a very good one. Den is so down to earth, forthcoming with information, goes out of his way, above and beyond and even after the purchase, I could ask him for help with different questions and assist me in different ways. I believe he is extremely honest and I feel like he’s a good friend now as well. I would suggest if you’re shopping for a used car definitely go to Avenel Auto Sales. It’s like going to visit your family when you walk in.

I bought my first car here and everything was made so simple! I had no prior knowledge of the car purchasing process. Thankfully, Dennis had explained everything so clearly and transparently, the process was made so easy. I couldn’t be happier with my car as well. I would definitely recommend!

Spent 13k on a used car here, but has since needed 7k in repairs in under 7 months. They're very nice ppl, but now we're stuck with a money pit.EDIT TO ADD I did call the shop and was told to call the warranty company and nothing else.

Dennis and his wife were world class! They run the business like it’s a major big name dealership. Super transparent, HONEST, and actually care about making the client happy. What a delightful experience my fiancée and I had purchasing a vehicle from them today! I got a town and country three years ago and from day one I’ve had problems. I’ve had to so much money in the car. And had I known the he told my boyfriend no test drive until you buy I would not have spent my money on it .

Dennis worked with my daughter and I during the purchase of her first vehicle. He was upfront and wasn't pushy after she test drove one vehicle that she wasn't really interested in post-test drive. He showed us the rest of the inventory and when she found a different vehicle that was more of what she was looking for, he spent time going over the vehicle prior to, during and after that test drive. When she decided to purchase, he explained the buying process to my daughter as well since it was her first vehicle. He and his wife are friendly and courteous. It's been a week since purchase and my daughter is very happy with her 'new to her' vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to give a referral to Avenel Auto Sales. Dan M.

Friendly, and they have a wide selection of different vehicles depending on your budget. The waiting room is filled with all types of model cars. It's definitely worth just passing by, have a great time picking out a car, just conversing with Dennis and Sharon will be worth your time!
