…About 15-years-ago, I got *hopelessly* lost trying to meet up with a buddy at his local gun club-Back then? “Smartphones” weren’t as: “Smart.” I ended up in the parking lot at Belleplain Gun Supply.….Nick gave me good advice and good directions-And as it turned out, he was having a commercial filmed that day for the local cable network. As I was wearing a tie and ready to head into work for the late shift after my time at the range? He included a: “Blip” of me in that commercial; I bought some ammunition and not more than 10-minutes down the road, I called him to *beg* him to hold the rifle I’d held-A World War II vintage SMLE. He laughed, and a few days later, I took it home.Nick is an encyclopedia of knowledge on firearms-And any time I’ve “cheated” on Belleplain, I’ve come to regret it! I love antique guns, but they’re a traditional: “Crapshoot.” There’s only one thing consistent: If Nick *says* it’s good? I can guarantee it’ll shoot straight and reliably! That’s more than I can say for just about any gun vendor out there!A few months ago, I picked up my 9th gun from Nick-A Ruger 57. It outshoots my friend’s $1,400 FN, only unlike my pal? I saved enough based on Nick’s recommendation to buy a nice rifle, shotgun or crossbow….….Which reminds me: From reloading to black powder to archery to clothing and miscellaneous gear? Belleplain is your one-stop shop! Nick’s ammunition selection is second to none, even carrying: “Wildcats and oddballs.” I happen to own an 1898 Mauser converted to .257 Roberts….Who the h*ll has even *mentioned* that cartridge in the last 50-years? Nobody-Yet Nick had a few boxes! As a devout black powder enthusiast? The man has never failed to disappoint while others seem to be confused if you’re not discussing an AR-style rifle or Glock! I actually had my: “Local” gun center employee ask me: “…What’s a percussion cap?”….So, with the money Nick saved me on the Ruger versus buying the FN? My only question is: “What can Belleplain Supply sell me next?” (Winks.)

Always knowledgeable and friendly. Very helpful explaining pros and cons of items. I’ve been a customer since my first trip with my dad at 10yrs old. Since then I have purchased numerous firearms and never felt prices were very different then the current market. Last year I got a ravin r20 and a knight muzzleloader. Very good experiences with both as usual!!!!

Purchase a Browning X-Bolt 6.5 Creedmoor and ZEISS scope from Nick. Treated professionally and politely!!! I thought the rifle was fairly priced based on research and the scope was a bit higher. But I value the whole experience of a local provider versus a large box store. THANK YOU Nick!!

Nick And Brian are 2 of the most knowledgeable guys in the business. Me and my son hav been going there for awhile now and not one time did we ever feel like we were being treated poorly or getting overpriced on supplies. Matter of fact we usually hang out n laugh and talk about the nightmares of the world. Thanks guys

Great store.... has a very wide selection of all the things you will need.. from hunting to target shooting... Nick and Brian were very knowledgeable when trying to decide which turkey shotgun I was going to get....I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for high quality products at a affordable price

Customer service over the phone was enough to make me take my business elsewhere. Emailed questions about a used firearm concerning its finish, shipping charge, and functionality. Only question answered was that he (Nick) needed my FFL contact info for the quote. Emailed him back within 5 minutes and got the runaround and attitude from Ryan.

It was one of the worst experiences in a supply store, simply wanted oil and estimate on a repair. Sales staff was rude and even somewhat threatening at one point. Find a personality people. Time are tough for everyone, sorry you had to sell out of your entire ammo stock at ridiculously inflated prices must have been tough.

Also turned away because I did not use hand sanitizer. State only requires a mask. I have had severe skin reaction to hand sanitizer. This is just one of several bad experiences I had at this store. This is one store I wish bass pro would put out of business!

My husband and I went there to purchase a couple of hand guns. No sooner got in the door and the guy behind the desk said “Stop”, “clean your hands and asked my husband to put on another face mask because the Mission gator he was wearing wasn’t sufficient “! Offered to give him one from behind counter(which he was touching with his dirty hands). We said “no thanks that’s ok” and walked out. Just an FYI my husband has been wearing the Mission style gators for almost a year and has NEVER been asked to put on another mask. Unfortunately for them we will go to the Gun Rack or Butches. Must friendlier people! Their loss not ours!
