“Well worth the trip! After seeing reviews I drove 3 hours from Upstate NY to drop off my Vanagon with Kevin and Brian (the train station within a block of shop makes this ideal). At drop off Kevin didn’t just take the keys and shoo me out. He took the time to discuss everything I wanted done. Brian sent pics, texts, and called daily to update me on how progress was going. At pick up Brian thoroughly went through everything. They know VWs. These guys care, something you don’t always get these days. “I have been coming to Atpro Transmissions for about 2 years now to have basic maintenance " Transmission Filter Changes". When I first came here, I was very nervous but Moz was very honest and suggested a "Transmission Filter Change" first to see if that would correct the problem. The problem was corrected and I was very happy. Recently my "Front Transfer Case" went in my Pathfinder. Moz fixed my car very quickly and my car runs very smoothly. Moz has very great INTEGRITY and I recommend Atpro Transmissions!”

The guys are super friendly and professional, the office is clean, and they were able to get me an appointment within a couple days (which they were ready for!) and got my car fixed in a couple of hours. “My son has a used car and is down the shore Wednesday night. Car doesn’t start. He is leaving Saturday so I need to figure out asap.
Look at reviews locally for a mechanic as this is my first encounter with anything like this as I have always leased cars and didn’t have to worry about car issues. I see reviews for Sam’s and decide to call early Thursday. Sam answers and tells me what to do. I then speak to Danielle (who was absolutely awesome through all this) and tell her car is being towed there. Car gets there late Thursday night after they close. Friday early afternoon she calls me and says car is done! I didn’t know what to say. On top of that, they worked with my warranty so it cost me $17. This is how any business should run. I will never go to any other place besides Sam’s if I have any needs for my car. This place is awesome and no need to go anywhere else for your car. Good stuff Sam’s Auto!!!”

“Absolutely recommend if you're experiencing transmission problems.. I've always heard good things about this shop , and Steve has done numerous race transmissions for several friends of mine. So when my personal truck starting acting up knew where I wanted to take it. Its a Dodge Ram with Cummins and 48RE transmission. They got me in , fixed it much quicker then I could have imagined, and did it for a very fair price. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable and gave me a couple different options and recommendations. Excellent communication throughout the whole process, Anna up front is wonderful. Very happy to have my truck back and working great.
