This place was just fun! The service was friendly and the main thing for us was how well manicured the rooms were and clean. Loved the eclectic / 70’s theme!Rooms: Eclectic style and Extremely clean! We really enjoyed the way the hotel decorated each room!Nearby activities: Just a hop, skip and jump from quaint little breakfast restaurants to ice cream shops and putt-putt golf!Safety: The place was well lit and the parking area too. We saw many people out walking around the vicinity.Walkability: Very close to many activities and walking distance to the beach!

Haven't even slept here one night and already disappointed ?I Had to change a light bulb in a light over the Kichenette,,,,,phone doesn't work,,,,,,,no small table on balcony to sit and have drinks,,,,asked for a 3 chair for balcony because there are 3 of us was told they don't have any extra,,,,,,and a table yet I see other rooms with a table.Staying in the one bedroom suite with 2 queen beds,,,pictures are very deceiving,,,,,,,,over $1000 for 4 nights will not stay here again ?Location is good

Old and in bad need of refreshing up. Our room had a broken window, rusty fridge, dirty stove top, and decor from the 60’s. Location was the only saving factor.

I am kind of shocked at these great reviews. This is my first night here and have been very excited to arrive. I rented a one bedroom suite and for the almost 2000 we paid for our stay I am shocked at the condition of our room!! It’s absolutely horrible. It looks nothing like the pictures and nothing like we anticipated for the money… never again!! I feel like I’ve been ripped off….

We stayed in the “petite room with one queen bed in separate house”. This separate house used to be a B&B behind the hotel, but the hotel bought it out and now it is just extra rooms. We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs which is very simple. It has a ‘queen’ bed, a fridge and a bathroom - and in our case our room had a small balcony which was nice. Nothing extravagant, but it gets the job done if you are only going to be staying for a few days. There are rooms downstairs in the house that are bigger and at least one of the rooms downstairs has a small kitchen. You get all of the hotel amenities - pool, hot tub, lounge area with pool table and large TV, continental breakfast and access to use beach chairs and bikes! Long story short, it’s a very basic room, but it was a great value! The distance from the boardwalk is great, a very short walk! The service was great, they services our room daily without needing to request it. I would definitely stay again in the futureNearby activities: Right next to the Starlux was a great 27 hole mini golf course! You get a discount if you stay at the hotel. Not to mention you are very close to the boardwalk which is filled with lots of shops and fun places to eatWalkability: The Starlux is only about a block from the boardwalk and very easily walkable to boardwalk/beach

I enjoyed my stay at Starlux! We were there for a short time for a dance competition at Wildwood Convention Center. The decor was fun and the room was clean and comfortable. So pleasantly surprised. Such nice amenities like morning continental breakfast, comp bikes, comp beach equipment, etc. All of the concierge staff were helpful, calm, easy-going and accommodated us for anything we asked. Parking is free for 1 vehicle per room. I made my reservation with a wonderful agent at the hotel named Jackie. She was busy with guests when I called so she called me back and booked my room. Upon leaving, I thought I left my daughter's contact lenses. I called to ask if someone would be able to check the room I just checked out of but had already driven 2 hours towards home. Jackie ran up to the room, did a check and called me back minutes later with an update. Fortunately, I had packed the contacts in a different bag so I had them with me. I was so appreciative of her gracious consideration and effort that I wanted to thank her in this review. Thank you Jackie, you're the best!!!

First off, the hotel is gorgeous! It has a doo wop 50's theme. Frankie Valli can be heard singing by the pool. It also features a large hot tub. The staff is top notch and the place is very clean. Bikes are free as well as boogie boards and chairs for the beach. The hotel also offers large discounts on boardwalk rides and water parks. I've stayed in many hotels in wildwood. I will be coming back to the Starlux.

Loved the hotel. The blinds are just blinds, and the strip is bright, they would do better if they had black out curtains.

Bob, the manager, was very kind and made our stay more pleasant during the busy holiday weekend. The suites are top notch and highly recommend! Thanks again Bob.

Charming and clean, I love this place. Drawn by its Googie architecture but pleasantly surprised by how nice things are inside.

This place was surprisingly nice. The front desk guy was nice and upgraded our room for free which was a nice room my wife liked. The room was clean, you could tell the sheets were really clean, they provided you with enough wash clothes and towels as well as toiletries. If we had to ding them on one thing it would be the elevator carpet was somewhat dingy but that in a way is understandable since they have a pool and people come and go to the beach all day it's probably impossible to keep it fresh and clean

Very nice place. Clean and well kept. Not the most friendly staff but I guess we were there before the busy season and they were not in the mood for out of towners just yet. Excellent location.

Located central to everything at the beach end of the famous Rio Grande. Coukd see the Wildwood beach ball sign from the room. Well sized kitchenette suites. More than enough space for 1 person, coukd probably fit 6 people on there easily with 2 double beds and a sofa bed in the living area. Rooms comfortably equipped with flat screen TVs (1 in living area and a 2nd in the bedroom), oversized fridge with top freezer, TWO ac/heat units, daily housekeeping services, and plenty of towels. Kitchenette was fully stocked with plates, bowls, cutlery, etc. Amenities were off the charts too. Heated pool, hot tub, mini golf just outside your door, Khors ice cream at the corner, 2 gas bbq grills, cooking utensils provided, and the lounge OMG! Pool table, fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, a huge flat screen TV, tons of windows letting the natural light just pour in and offering a fantastic view of the Wildwood sunset. Throw on top you're across the street from the beach and walking distance to Morey's Piers. 10/10 recommend.
