Needed a quick place to stay for a cheerleading competition. Photos looked great online so decided to book. When we arrived, the room wasn't bad at all and looked pretty clean. It fit for an overnight stay. My room smelled like bleach and really no complaints. Only thing is the bathroom had mold on the ceiling which made me icky and the tub filled with water as we showered. The bed was okay, wasn't that comfortable but did the job. Daughter mentioned that the pool looked green, but she didn't get in.

I just had the ABSOLUTE worst experience with management. My brother booked a room for Feb 1 - 4th and our father is passing. We where told end of life this week and to prepare. I explained this to the manager and did my due diligence to find out if there were still vacancy on the room my brother purchased and plenty of these particular rooms were available. I tried to cancel, and the manager was probably the worst person I've ever spoken too in customer service. I don't know how he even has a job! He asked for our fathers last death paperwork? I told him he needed sensitivity training me and he the audacity to me, I need the sensitivity training. He needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!!! I would never recommend anyome stay at this location due to the complete disrespect from Management until this man is relocated to another location, because I wouldn't feel safe for even myself or children staying in anywhere with him in the building!!!

Only because I can't give it 0 stars. Resort?.... more like last resort and that won't happen again. Let's start with roaches, yep... roaches in the crusty, dirty, water leaking, torn curtain with big holes in the sheets room. Next would be the rude little punk behind the counter. Can't forget about the brown jacuzzi water.

Overpriced due to the location. My room was terrible. The white ceiling tiles were filled with tons of black holes. Made me so uncomfortable. Spent 3 nights there over the Labor Day weekend. Spent 2 nights killings flies, mosquitoes and naps in the room. Towels had hairs and uncleaned spots. Bathroom vanity was super small. Hardly any spaces for toiletries. No hook behind the bathroom door to hang towel. Only has a small rack to hold 1 towel. The rest of the towels were placed on the toilet. The toilet doesn't even have a water tank. Normal hotel uses flat sheet under the blanket. Bolero placed the fleece blanket under the flat sheet. Was not comfortable using the fleece blanket at all. I will never stay at Bolero again.

Bad parts: Barely any English-speaking workers, bed sheets were not clean, had to complain for new ones, floors are very sandy and werent swept, bathroom is small with no counter space. Bathroom toilet wasn't clean. Hotel vs motel area, hotels have elevators but if you're on the motel side no elevators just stairs which look really gross. Only one elevator for the whole hotel which is 8 floors, it's very small and slow. Quality of fridges and microwaves are different from room to room. Phones to call front desk are hard to figure out (still haven't). No coffee machine. Loud music until late that you can here through most of building. Good parts: Nice indoor and outdoor pool with music at outdoor and bar. Indoor pool has 2 hot tubs and sauna which are nice. Small table with chairs and desk with chairs in motel rooms lots of pillows just change the covers. Big restaurant inside hotel and big gym along with massage place. Laundry area. Not sure if I'd recommend staying here or not honestly

I visited the Bolero Resort from 7/29-8/4 for our yearly family vacation. The hotel was great, the food was great and even housekeeping was amazing. I have nothing to say about our stay however, the problem I had was with customer service. Eric, who assisted us at check in and over the phone the day prior to our stay, let's just say he can use a few trainings on customer service. He answered all our questions but had such a negative attitude a really bad tone. We decided to not bother the front desk in order to prevent me from giving him the same energy he gave us. At check in we gave them my debit card for the $100 dollar incidental fee- he stated that it would be refunded at check out assuming no one smoked in the room and that we didn't damage anything (understandable)- me not realizing that it was a temp hold- i called back about a week later to ask about the transaction because I didn't see anything on my debit card statement- the min i began speaking the man on the phone completely cut me off without letting finish what i was even saying. I told him to let me finish before he started interjecting- he then answered my question with the worst attitude. I asked him why he was rude and he told me that he wasn't and hung up in my face.

This hotel charges thirty percent if you cancel your stay a day after booking through Expedia. I booked in January 2023 and canceled on July 14th for a reservation August 13th. Charged $744. This whole experience with this hotel and Expedia has not been good. This hotel does not treat customers that book with Expedia well and Expedia does not back up their customers. Therefore I will never stay at this hotel. And I have deleted my account with Expedia.

Customers Be Aware I visited the Bolero on June 9th- June 11th. We ate at the Blue Water Grille. The waitress name was Iana. My bill came to $14.12. I signed the receipt but never filled out the tip and total on the receipt. I used my cashapp card to pay for the bill. Iana proceeded to add her own tip to my receipt. I got a notification from cashapp saying my account was negative. I only had the exact amount on my card to cover the bill but when Iana added her own tip it caused my card to go negative. I called Eric the manager to advise him of the situation, Eric proceeded to tell me that I signed the receipt and added the tip. I advised Eric I left those lines blank because I gave a cash tip. Eric sent me a copy of the receipt and just as I had suspected, Iana wrote in the tip and total. I advised Eric that was not my handwriting . He stated he would follow up and call me back. When I called the next day to follow up Eric advised he refunded the tip but I never received it back on my card. I suspect this waitress Iana does this to other customers on a regular basis. Either management is aware and they are ok with it or they are not aware, either way it is theft and fraudulent. Although it was a small amount, it was not authorized therefore it was theft and I will be following up with legal actions. Customers Be Aware

After staying the Bolero Resort several times over the years, I realized how little they care about their customers. We had to cancel our reservation to spend the weekend of March 17th with friends. Because I was one day short of two weeks from my reservation date, they will not refund my deposit. I will NEVER go back there and would not recommend staying withthem. Much nicer properties to stay at on the island.

We stayed as a team for the Wildwood Duals. Another guest of the hotel physically assaulted 2 minors during our stay. One being my 10 year old son & another from another team (a 13 year old). The entire hotel was full of wrestlers and their families. Granted boys were knocking on people's doors. Another mother and myself watched a grown man throw a 13 yr throw the doors on the 6th floor into the stairwell & the continue to grab him by the hoodie & scream & curse in his face. 10 min later I came downstairs to find out this same man grabbed my 10 yr old by the neck, arm, and hoodie (scratching his face) and cursing at him. We approached the hotel owner & called the police. They watched the entire thing on video surveillance. The hotel owners promised myself & other parent this man would be removed from the hotel by no later than 11am the next day. When we returned from the tournament & dinner at 10pm this man who assaulted 2 minors was still in the hotel. The hotel said they did not feel they should inform either parent that they changed their mind about making the man leave. If we would've known the hotel didn't live up to their word we would have left bc our children felt unsafe. Shame on you Bolero. And Shame on wildwood police...you watched the video of a grown man assaulting two children. We will be pressing charges & holding the hotel accountable.

Where do I begin!?! I'll start by saying that I stayed here in October, during the off season... We ended up staying at this hotel for a work conference. We pulled up to the parking lot and noticed a large outdoor pool and patio. Parking was free for guests and there was an overflow lot across the street, so finding a spot was no problem. There is an indoor "tower" section to the hotel, and an outdoor "motel" section. I started with a room in the "motel".... It was on the second level, and DIRECTLY aligned with the water feature in the pool, which was still on (and very loud) late into the night! The room was VERY spacious, with a living room and couch in the first room you walk in to, but it had this really strange Frito smell to the place. There's a nice cooktop and microwave with fully stocked utensils and plates, and a full size fridge, but, the plates are completely covered in dust and the toaster on the sink was sitting directly next to a mouse trap. The bathroom was in the hall leading to the bedrooms. It had a drop ceiling that was completely covered in water stains and mold spots. The shower curtain was stained orange on the bottom. The towels felt like sandpaper and were the size of hand towels. The bedroom was in the back of the room and had a door separating it from the rest of the room, which was nice because it muffled the noise from the pool fountain. The window in the bedroom faced the alley behind the hotel and you could smell the smoke from outside at the window (even when closed) There were two beds on metal frames, no phone in the rooms, but a decent TV and dresser. The walls were filthy and I could clearly see three dirty handprints on the wall next to the bed. I stepped on something when standing next to the bed and looked under to find two different mouse traps...one of which was a snap trap. There were stains all over the bed and sheets and the dust was completely covering the filter...so much to the point that dust was being blown out all over the room. I, thankfully, was able to move rooms and got one inside of the tower portion which was much nicer when it came to cleanliness, but the towels were still the same terrible ones. I think hotel would have a ton of potential, since it has a fantastic location close to the beach and boardwalk, but it definitely needs a huge clean done to everything.
