This place is my second home. John and Dorothy make us feel like we are part of a big family. I have made a lot of good friend there and I'm always looking forward to see them all. A beautifull place very close to thé beach and all the facilities . Love that place

If you’re looking for a place to JUST sleep, this is it!But, if you’re looking for a vacation spot, I do NOT recommend.Rooms are extremely outdatedNo outlets to plug anything inNo music allowed whatsoeverNo security on room doors (one of our rooms didn’t even lock, and no doors have the peep hole or a security lock on inside)Pool area closes at 7pm so no using the grill or pool after that timeCleaning lady very friendly, rest of staff is miserable and rude. Not a place to bring your children.Definitely not a place you would be able to enjoy on vacation.Oh and if you smoke or vape, you have to go all the way out to your car to do so.They also kicked an elderly couple out at 10 pm. The couple were in their 70’s. Completely unacceptable.

Management is rude and trying to charge cash for everything. I have never seen a black pool. NJ health should look into that. Why is this place even open.

Great value ,It's not the Hilton...
But in a pinch you need a place to rest your head and wash your butt LOL. There's an awesome pool .. and the people there couldn't be more friendly!
The prices are reasonable and you are hop skip and a jump away from the beach! ⭐⭐⭐

Web site does not reflect the appearance of the pool or rooms. The pool looks like a dank, dark pool with black lining. The rooms do Not have full refrigerators as advertised but have a dorm size refrigerator. The seating area has plastic chairs Not nice high back chairs as advertised. Management is rude and when asked to see the advertised room, they refused. The management also blamed booking .com for the false photos which was not true. The main office smelled like mold and mildew

It's just an average hotel. They have a pool and a grill which is cool, but everything else was average. It was very close to the beach though. I saw a lot of people angry and leaving which makes me feel suspicious that something is going on. Besides that I had a good stay.

Steve and crew makes you feel like home. The team really works on making your stay a pleasant experience.Here's what we saw.The cleaning, impecable. There is a cleaning lady you can see collecting any trash even at the parking since early in the morning.Room experience.Bed sheets are clean, as well as the towels at the shower. The rooms are well maintained.Location.One block away from beach. 1 mi away from the main boardwalk attractions. You have some ocean view from upper floors.Overall.Silence, tranquility is enforced. They do not allow any music in the rooms, so is perfect to really relax, rest, get good sleep at night (hard to find at other places in the area). Another plus: Is smoking free environment. Nature wise.Seagulls come to spend some time with us at the pool, which by the way is, of course, impecable clean, clear.Thank you guys for making us have a relaxing experience at Viking Motel!
