Check in at 4 and the pool closed at 6 only stopped in for a quick end of season getaway I've been here a few times and this year everything really let me down I'm on vacation and just want to cry a little bit because this place has just gone downhill from what I remember. The staff was pleasant at check in, that is one positive I can share.

The location is excellent, and that is why we chose it. In the end, I try to remember that and put a positive spin on our bad hotel stay. First let me say this place at one time would have been very good, but its rooms are too dated, like 1960s dated for appliances, bathroom hardware and furniture. We were in room 221.I didnt think they made toilets so low and small. Our shower was no better than that of hanging a garden hose. Our couch resembled something you would pick up on the side of the road after a flood. Room was not cleaned well. The other previous negative reviews are pretty accurate. They are clearly just milking this hotel for all they can get our of us. We left a night early. When I told the desk attendant, they could care less and made no attempt at being interested. Spend more time searching, you will be glad later your did

Would not recommend. Elevators take forever. The parking is so tight. The sliding door rail is so rusted and old we could barely open the door. I cant believe the toilet paper is stained up. Its gross.
Rooms: The room needs a major upgrade. The sinks are rusty all over the top. The toilet seat wont stay up. I tripped and banged my leg up because the carpet has these bubbles in them.also this room must of been a smoking room before. There is nicotine all over the lamps and the drawers reek of it.

This place is great. Further down ocean Ave which is perfect. Easy access on and off the beach. Great pool area with a snack shack. Arcades and vending machines available. The cafe was good for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of parking, ice available, ocean view balcony was fabulous. The elevator is slow as hell and no smart TV. Ugh
Also they do not provide shampoo!

$300 for a moldy, dirty, and run down room with no microwave. If it wasn’t for other family members being there or the fact we were there for one night we would have left.
Coming back from the boardwalk on the one night we were there someone parked in the middle of the parking lot under the building, blocking 1/4 of the lot from being used as well as blocking cars in. We brought it to the attention of the employee at the front desk who simply shrugged. Thankfully we found the last accessible spot and didn’t have to attempt at finding street parking so late with 3 small children.
I find it extremely hard to believe that motel 6 can afford a microwave in every room but this place at $300+ a night can’t put one in every room.
With all that being said, yeah the location is good, the pool is nice, the food is alright.
Would I come back? Probably not.
Rooms: Dingy, dark, damp, smelled like mold. No microwave.

I wanted to leave a review as a reminder to myself of why my family really didn't like this place. We chose Bal Harbour as a last minute end of summer vacation get away and it was the only hotel within our budget. It was one of the cheaper options to be on the beach but this place really needs to be updated. We got the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom room for our needs but upon entering, we saw the room was not cleaned. My wife sent me a photo of a alcohol bottle left behind and the floors was not vacuumed. We had to use alcohol wipes to wipe everything and we were disgusted at the amount of dirt and grime left behind. All the outlets were really loose so I had to use a bottles or whatever miscellaneous item we had to keep them in place. The utensils were not clean at all. The curtain to the balcony fell off the rail, but maintenance was quick to come and remedy that (Thank you Junior).I do want to mention that I did tell the front desk and they offered to give us another room but there was no available when they looked into it. The staff was nice overall but the quality of this place is not it. The pool was good and to walk onto the beach was even better but like I keep saying, the rooms really need updating/fixing. This place is great for beach access and that is pretty much all to sum this up.
Rooms: They need to be cleaned
Nearby activities: You are right on the beach. There is a pool for babies, children, and adults.

We just came back from a three day vacation here and I’m so glad I did not let the scare me away.
The two gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, we stayed in the Yankee clipper room facing the pool. I definitely recommend spending the extra money for for this room. The view was amazing, the room was clean and spacious for four adults, my mother and my two adult daughters and myself. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean. Yes it could use an update but for the price we paid and it’s an ocean hotel, It was definitely worth it. More than enough space for everything. I love how they had a sink outside of the bathroom, and two huge closets. The gentleman that attended the pool always made sure it was clean, the café next to the pool was very reasonable And good food. The only thing was underneath was extremely tight, but then I realized if you go through the parking garage, there’s more parking on the other side of the pool. The balcony guard rail is very low, so that was a little scary. But all in all a great stay and we will definitely be back! I’ve stayed at many different crest hotels in Wildwood For the last 12 years and by far, this one was one of the best.

The staff is absolutely nasty! Ahmed is only nice employee. The hotel smells of mold. The hallways are dirty the elevators are slow! The hotel is severely outdated. The air conditioning did not work. There answer was to give us a fan. The sheets blankets pull out couch all so uncomfortable and disgusting. Towels were paper thin. They do not provide towels for pool or beach. Parking is terrible. Do NOT stay at this hotel. Gross!

TV was broken and lightbulbs were busted out. Asked maintenance to help us fix the TV and he said “they’re all outdated”, and left us with a broken Tv. When I went to leave, the person I was staying with went downstairs to their car and somebody else got into my room with their key with the door completely shut. I went down to the front desk and they said, “that doesn’t happen.” I will no longer be staying here. Funny thing is that they are “reviewing cameras.” How funny.
