“I honestly don't know where to begin! So I will start from the beginning! I was in a position where I had no other choice but to rent vehicles for an extended time period. I rented through other major car rental companies and my experience was fine, however, I was referred to Value Auto Rental by a trusted family member who has been renting from this company for many years. She told me to ask for "Manny" and boy oh boy am I glad I did! Not only did he go above and beyond to make sure I wa placed securely in one of their vehicles, he demonstrated the true meaning of customer service everytime I walked into the office or called on the phone. Brian was also just as gracious and hospitable. I rented various vehicles over approximately 5 months and I had ZERO issues! They have a life long customer and I have already been spreading the word! They might as well make me the face of VAR... hahaha! Thank you Manny and Brian for always making sure Miss Cali was taken care of!”
“Jeff provided exceptional customer service and communication. Reserved a Tesla. The afternoon prior to rental Jeff kindly called me to see if not having one would be an issue, in the event the Tesla was not returned as expected. He offered a Hybrid or other premium vehicle. He seemed willing to do whatever was necessary to obtain a Tesla if it was an issue for me. I told him a Hybrid would be fine. To my delight, the Tesla was returned just in time. “The trucks are the same for these rental companies, old but functional. You get working air conditioning but not much else. ? The vans look to be much newer. I would highly recommend getting any uhaul equipment when a facility is open. If you do rent when a place is closed think about using the web page instead of the App.The App doesn't work great, had to call customer service (hold for 25 minutes) who directed/ recommended I switch to the web page. Even then it takes a long time to go through the initial rental and then drop off process. You have to take pictures of your ID, have them call a contact to confirm you can rent, take pictures of the truck, etc. very cumbersome especially given the poor quality of the app. I had even called this location ahead of time to confirm easy way to pick up a truck and was basically told "use app" and hung up on. It would have been nice to get recommendation on using the web site if the app failed, etc. ahead of time.”

“I was rear-ended in my rental car in NJ while visiting and the NJ state police called Eagle to tow away my car. They were extremely fast and professional. Because the other driver was driving a 9 passenger van, the police asked the driver Carlos if he could drop me off since their cars would be full with the 9. Not only was he nice enough to drop me off at a (very) nearby rental facility to get a replacement, he talked me through a few things and was patient enough to wait while the police finished gathering information. His truck was also the cleanest I've ever seen. Thank goodness for the police calling Eagle! Best tow experience ever!”
