I have been going to Dave's Sound for 20+ years. I am a shredder style metal guitar player and NO ONE has been able to set up my guitar properly with the exception of Bill. I trust NO ONE with my guitars except Bill. Dave is awesome too! I brought my Mesa Boogie to him many times for repair and maintenance.

I just picked up a favorite electric guitar from Dave's Sound Repair to see why one of my pickups quit working. I need to keep the guitar all original since it is a Fender Custom Shop model with hand wound, signed pickups. Bill has taken care of my guitars forever and was able to find the problem and fix the existing pickup rather than replacing it. Also picked up a second guitar I had there for a setup - it had never played right before. Both came back playing and sounding better than they ever had sounded before. Once again Daves Sound Repair, and Bill Baker (guitar tech) are friendly and came through with fast, expert work, once and done. Simply an honest, trustworthy business I will continue to rely on. Great work, guys! Been a customer for decades and the guitar and amp repairs are always top notch.

I did a pickup mod to my Fender Stratocaster (SSS to SSH), but it did not sound right. Brought it to Dave who did some adjustments, and improved my pickup wiring. Now sounds fantastic ! Bright crisp sound ! If you need guitar adjustment, bring it to Dave ! Highly recommend.
