I have been coming here for years. I love this place. They are always so nice and friendly. The owner Nick is a great guy who does great nails. He is extremely smart and we have great conversations while getting my nails done. My nails always come out amazing. If your looking for a great place to go come here you will leave happy. I have never had a bad experience here.

DO NOT GO HERE! No idea how this place has 4 starts you walk in and it just looks like its trash everywhere. I went to this place as it was recommended to me by one of my friends. I love to get my nails down and I like to try cute fun design. I always show pictures and my designs are very simple. I got the owners wife she was not friendly she skipped steps like putting on a under coat or top coat. She made my simple nail idea look like a two year old draw it. She files off my cuticles and was very rough almost broke skin and with in a few days half of my nails are now cracking and breaking on my NAIL BED! SERIOUSLY NO REASON FOR THIS PLACE TO BE 4 STARS. The owner is friendly person but quality of work is so terrible.. this is the kind of place where you could catch a nasty infection

I came here once and they had one person working on each of my hands while I was getting a pedicure. They were rushing the job. It then dawned on me that they never cleaned and trimmed the cuticles. They basically just cut my nails and painted them with gel. If you go to a nail salon nail prep is a basic service and I see other comments that had a similar experience. Seems like they pick and chose when to do it but they charge you full price for a gel mani with half the service. It’s a rip off! Place is dirty too. Won’t be coming back.

NEW STAR NAILS is home this place is very welcoming , pleasant and do some amazing nails My sister May have me leaving feeling beautiful and confident every time I’m always receiving compliments, and with the type of career I have I can’t make it to the nail salon every two weeks May have my nails hold up for over a month it’s the attention, time creativity and care they all put into their work I will recommend NEW STAR NAILS TO ANY AND EVERYONE ??Services: Foot massages

This place does not have good service. I scheduled my appointment for 4pm only for them to start at 5pm. The man was nice and told me to sit in the pedicure chair so I went over thinking nothing of it. I sat in that chair for 30 mins before someone came and started my pedicure, my feet were wrinkly. The lady that was doing my pedicure kept texting and had me waiting there. My roommate wanted to get builder gel and her nails were ruined. There were so many bumps and nail polish on her skin. When she went to tell who we thought was the owner, he said he could only redo her nails, which okay I get that fine, but the lady that redid her nails was sighing and making faces the whole time. If I were you, I would find another place because this place ain’t it.

I was nearby at the mall and actually headed to a nail salon closer to my house but I decided to give this place a try. I wanted a pedicure and I was told the next nail tech would finish in 10 minutes. It actually took her 15 minutes and then almost another 5 by the time she had gathered up her stuff for me. While waiting, I decided to check them out on Yelp. I saw quite a few negative reviews but I was crunched for time so I basically crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. I figured out who Nick was when his appointment greeted him and I figured out Sophie was his hateful wife who never cracked a smile. Nick however seemed very friendly. The girl who did my pedicure gave me a big smile when she came over to me and said "hi". After that she never said a single word to me or made any kind of eye contact. She simply tapped on my feet if she wanted me to do anything. I assumed she didn't speak English but when she was all done she asked me if I wanted to sit under the dryer. I can't complain about my pedicure - it was the basic, no-frills pedicure you get in those kind of places. But the place itself has a run-down, hole-in-the-wall, tacky vibe. There was a TV on but at the same time, they played some rather irritating music called a cha-cha playlist so I couldn't hear the TV at all. I don't see myself returning here but it is right next to Costco and if I was ever nearby again and found myself strapped for time, I'd consider it.
