Stacy is the most amazing salesperson. Had bought a dress and hated it for my daughter’s wedding. Went to Hartlys and Stacy took over. Bought a dress in a half hour. Only 3 weeks till the wedding. Thank you Stacy.

My mom shops here all the time and she absolutely loves it. Every time when my mom says we are going to shop at Hartly, I always know she is going to spend a boatload of money. Even though she spends a ton of money, it’s always the best clothes I have ever seen. Now that I am getting older I can try on gorgeous dresses. I rather go here than any other mall. -Sophia S

I went to this store with my fiancé's mother for mother of the groom dress shopping and had a pit in my stomach the entire time. My fiancé's mother is totally blind and had to wait in the store alone for a few minuets while my fiancé parked the car. When I entered the store, the sales woman was talking to my fiancé's mother and I kept hearing the words is it my responsibility. My fiancé mother explained to me that the sales woman did not feel comfortable walking her to where the dresses were. If you are not comfortable escorting a blind person fine, but say it nicely instead of showing no compassion and making the person feel like a liability. Once I escorted my fiancé's mother to the dress section, the treatment from the sales woman did not improve one bit. She barely asked my fiancé mother any questions about what kind of dress she wanted and said to me "You know what she likes best." Isn't it the job of the sales person to find out what the client likes and work with them? It felt like she was trying to pass the effort onto me. My fiancé's mother is plus sized and the sales woman kept repeating that they did not have many dresses in plus sizes for her to try on. We understood that, but her delivery was horrible. Once in the dressing room she said to my fiancé mother "Youll have to bear with me, I've never worked with someone like you." You're the sighted person and we have to accommodate to you? The way she said it was a tone of pure agitation. I couldn't wait to get out of there. It's a shame too because Hartley was a store my fiancé's mother was looking forward to going to.

Similar to some of the other reviews, the staff was snobby and not helpful. When I explained I would be using a credit I had, I was immediately treated like I had no business there. The woman checking me out actually told another person, “this is all she’s buying..with a credit.” Some merchandise is okay but nothing, other than the entitled attitudes of the workers, stands out.

Fantastic experience today shopping for a dress to wear to my daughter's bat mitzvah! Jo was so helpful!! She listened to exactly what I was looking for and what I didn't want! Absolutely a pleasure!! I went to a different store a few weeks before and had the opposite experience, which made today even better!!
