Owner Anna is rude, gross, and awful. The way she treats customers, especially my grandmother who was so excited to buy a dress. I don’t like spreading bad karma but someone get this ladies doors permanently closed. Please stay away unless you want to spend thousands on a dress. Maybe then the owner will be nice ??

Stay away! This Dress for $650 I found online for $199. The exact dress. The owner is rude (asked why I would want a friend to come back- why didn’t I trust her). No tags, she’s pulling numbers from the air. Use caution.

One star is far too many for this disgraceful establishment. Anna is a rude, lying, miserable, unprofessional and insulting business owner. I am completely shocked at how she is still in business. She definitely does not deserve to be and should definitely not be allowed to deal with the public.I am writing this review on my mother's behalf. She bought a custom made gown for $3600.00 for my son's wedding. One week later my mother called to say I was coming into town on a Monday from out of state and she wanted me to see the dress. Anna promised she would be in. We drove 45 minutes to the store. It was closed. When we called the next day, she barely apologized. The next week I arrived again, we went to see the dress and explained that my father had become ill and we had to fly to Florida sooner than expected. Anna said she was very busy and couldn't complete the dress in 2 weeks. We asked if she could just give us whatever was ready and we would have the dress finished in Florida. The dress wasn't even started. She shipped the finished product to Florida. The dress was huge. My mother had lost at least 5 lbs. So the fitting was completely inaccurate. She went back to NJ the next week. She showed Anna the dress and they refitted her and told her to come back 3 days later. When my mother got there Anna said, the seamstress forgot to alter the dress. My mother waited in the shop for over 2 hours for the seamstress to complete the dress. Finally the dress was complete. My mother left the store and 15 minutes later Anna called and said she forgot to put the bra she had purchased for the dress in the bag. My mother turned around and got it. I can go on and on about how rude Anna was throughout this entire process but the bottom line is the day of the wedding all of the seams came loose. My mother couldn't walk or sit and there were large holes all over the dress. Anna should be ashamed of herself!

I purchased a beautiful top off Anna's rack a few years ago and it was spectacular. During COVID, when there was nothing in the department stores and I wanted a special dress, I wanted to try her to make a dress. I was a bit hesitant considering some of the reviews I read, but I have to say that my experience with Anna was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted (of course no one is every sure exactly what they want), and she made me a very special - fun, sophisticated, classy cocktail dress that was truly beautiful and elegant. I had asked to get it earlier than expected and Anna did her best to get that done, and she did. I need to also give big kudos to Anna's seamstress as she was lovely, warm, kind and helped me very much in the process. I would highly recommend Anna in accordance with my experience!

DO NOT SHOP HERE, but if you do, DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE! The owner promotes horrible customer service and exhibits a lack of basic business ethics.

Wonderful working with Anna. She made my daughters dream communion dress. The Base dress was from little Nikkis but Anna and the seamstresses elevated it to the next level. We had pockets added, dress altered to fit my daughter perfectly a custom jacket with a seamless zipper in the back made for the church and easily removed for the after party. Looking forward to working with them again for future events.

Everyone loved my dress and I received so many compliments about it, that I’ve lost track! Shouldn't even be in the business !! She made a train wreck of a gown for my Mother for my wedding. Owner is a nasty woman as well... clearly because she has no idea what she is doing when it comes to dress making!!! BEWARE ! Spent thousands of dollars on this nightmare of a gown.

SCAM ARTIST! Had a custom made gown made for my daughter's wedding. What a nightmare! I ordered my gown in March 2019, the gown was supposed to be finished in June. Her policy was to pay in full when placing a custom order... I should have known first red flag. She charged me $3,500.00 for a custom gown which we went over in detail of the style and beading (saw a gown in the store as an example). She told me she would call me in few weeks to start making the gown. It was the end of April and I still didn't hear from her. I called her and ask when she would be starting the gown and she said she waiting for the material. She finally called me in May. She made a pattern of the gown which was totally different than what I asked for. She always rushed me, was rude and acted as thought she was doing me the favor. She finally revised the pattern and said she would start making the gown. It was now June when I called her to ask when my gown would be finished. She said, "I don't know there are other people ahead of you." Two weeks passed and still no call. She finally called me back and said the color of the gown is a little different than the color you choose. I had no choice being my daughter's wedding was just 6 weeks away! I finally went in for a fitting. What a NIGHTMARE! The gown was so poorly made.The beading was not put on correctly, the gown fit me poorly, the zipper was broken... a complete mess! She said she would fix it and have it ready in a few days. I did not hear from her so I called and asked when I could pick up my gown. She said it would be another week because the seamstress was out until Monday. She further went on to tell me she had to do more work ( this was because of her incompetence) and that it was going to be more money. At that point just 3 weeks to my daughter's wedding I couldn't take it anymore. I went in and took my gown unfinished, hoping I could have a professional seamstress fix it. I took it to three different places and they all told me how poorly the gown was made and there was nothing they could do. There was no way I could wear this gown so had to go out and buy another gown 2 weeks before my daughter's wedding. No words could say the stress this woman put me through. Do not trust her, she is a crook! You can just see by the picture I've provided (beading was put on too high and poorly fitted on my waist).

I got my wedding dress here. I paid up front which I think ended up being a mistake, the alterations weren't done on time. I was still getting fittings the day before my wedding, I missed the dinner when my parents met my husbands parents so I could try on the dress and the owner of Donna Moda was not at all sympathetic or trying to be accommodating
