Very neat clean organized very attentive and knowledgeable staff very sympathetic and empathetic staff very informative veterinarian All super caring towards the animals and their caretakers I would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for veterinarian care in that area hands down The office area and lobby is full of tons of informative literature and pamphlets for you to take home and some very unique artwork strewn about the walls in a very tasteful and elegant way and the other picture is of my bogey our foster dog that on the second day we had him we were forced to take him to this veterinarian which is how we've come to learn of them and we will be taking any animal from this point forward to this facility as opposed to going to our veterinarian of 12 years because the treatment we received there and the care we received their far exceeded anything that we have utilized to this point and our foster dog boogie was met with open arms like he was a rockstar and was made to feel very comfortable and safe which made going to the vet that much more pleasurable

I cannot believe after being a long time loyal customer, treating five dogs, I could not get an appointment for a simple ear infection. I’ve called multiple times to be put on hold for 20 minutes to hear the same thing “We’re completely booked, give us a call back at 8am to see if there are any cancellations.” I finally got an appointment, but unfortunately, the day off, my son got into a car accident. I called to notify them and all they told me was to call back at 8am. My dogs ear infection worsened over time, and I had no choice but to look for a new vet. Any pet owner knows this is the last thing they’d want, since it is a costly and tedious process. It was a good thing I did find a new vet, because it turns out my dog Rio was misdiagnosed. He has an undescended testicle, and he now needs surgery. Emotional… stressed… disappointed, to say the least. I wish this review was positive because I was always pleased with Dr. DeSimone, and Dr. Yhle. Unfortunately, the unprofessionalism has forced me to move on to a new vet.

I tried to call here and give the benefit of the doubt because of the reviews but the woman who picked up gave me an attitude I was trying to bring in my pet in and I couldn’t even schedule an appointment bc she put me on hold as soon as I picked up I will find another place because that was ridiculous.Just because my name on this is not a normal email doesn’t mean this is fake either.

Ugh the reviews are 100% accurate, they will put you on HOLD for 10-20mins minimum as soon as you call. It’s ridiculous. I have a pet emergency and can’t even talk to a person..I get “waiting” music. I can’t believe they still have this issue, after countless complaints for years. Speedy and effective communication is extremely important when it comes to choosing a vet place. Going to look elsewhere for attentive care and customer service, losing out on a consistent long term customer

I absolutely love Westfield Animal Hospital, the doctors and staff are the most compassionate set of individuals when it comes to pets. I have two French bulldogs, while I love the breed, they're high maintenence & need to be treated with white gloves for pretty much everything. The staff at Westfield has always been super gentle with both dogs.

If you have ferrets with Adrienal Disease bring them here. The Dr here was not only extremely kind but he was honest and affordable.I went to another DR in Parsippany at Companion Animal hospital and they wanted to charge me over $2000. The Dr here at Westfield only charged me $350 total. My ferret is now happy and healthy again thanks to Westfield Animal Hospital, and i can’t thank them enough

Dr Jablecki is an incredibly compassionate, intelligent, caring & detail oriented veterinarian. I am so grateful that she is our vet. She has saved our elderly bulldog when we thought it was ‘the end’ on multiple occasions w/a condition that has recurred but carefully diagnosed & treated her correctly. Our “Honey” is almost 13, quite the miracle for an english bullie!Dr. Jablecki listens, & explains in detail her rationale for various decisions or recommendations & respects our ultimate decision. She is one gifted veterinarian!

Westside Animal Hospital has great Veterinarian's. They are very quick to get you in whether it's urgent or not and always do a well thorough job checking everything out regarding your pets.

The best animal hospital, they took good care of our beloved companion, Layla when she was with us and helped us in the end of her journey with us. The staff and doctors were always, caring, accommodating and very helpful. The facility is so clean, doesn’t even smell like dogs! Thank again for your patience during one of the toughest days for us. My family appreciated the condolences card from the staff. I will definitely plant the seeds that came in the card in Laylas name. Thank you, I wish WF Animal Hospital much success - Brito-Zaldua Family

Both of my dogs (a pug and a Lab/pit bull rescue) have received excellent care and treatment at Westfield. Simply put, I’m glad that my wife and I decided to change veterinary care providers to their practice.

Westfield Animal Hospital is one of the best veterinary hospitals out there!!Dr. Jablecki is amazing! She is extremely kind and compassionate. Just love her! She provides the best care to my 15 yr old cat Niko who suffers from renal disease. I have to give a shout out to Dr. Uhle as well as she has seen my Niko on several occasions and has provided exceptional care! Such a great team including the receptionists who are kind and understanding. I feel good knowing that my boy is in capable hands.

I brought my puppy here to get neutered. The visit was fairly easy with lots of work to be done on my baby boy - blood work, ecg, baby teeth extraction, neuter, and microchip. I brought him in at 9 but wasn't able to pick him up until 730. I was very nervous since this was a big day and he has fasted for a whole day by then and wasn't sure if he would be given water throughout the day. Dr. Uhle and staff reassured me it would go well and he'd be taken care of. So far I'm happy with his recovery and the execution of all procedures done today. Thanks for taking care of my little one!

0 starsI have a 2 year old dog with epilepsy who sees a neurologist & must take seizure medication daily for life. He has extreme vet anxiety which can trigger a seizure. I believed Dr. DeSimone had a good understanding & compassion for my pet's condition & although she doesn't do neutering herself, she assured me she would make sure he was handled carefully & with as little stress as possible.I called & emailed her several times the week of surgery to ensure there was a plan in place for him that the neurologist & vet performing surgery were both comfortable with but received no response from her.The morning of surgery I arrived at 8am & a tech came to take my dog. She informed me that surgery was not until lunch time. I asked to speak with Dr. DeSimone but was told she was too busy to talk to me, even though there was no one else there. I expressed that the stress of waiting 4 hours for surgery in a kennel could cause a seizure & asked again to see the vet. Clearly the tech had no clue as to his condition. I requested 3 or 4 times to speak with Dr. DeSimone, it was clear that I was uncomfortable and upset & each time the staff came back to tell me with no expression that she was too busy. I left with my dog because it was clear there was no plan in place for handling his condition. No one bothered to ask me not to leave or follow up after I was gone.I actually gave this place a second chance even though Dr. Loomis misdiagnosed my now deceased dog with pink eye & then lyme's disease, even though he clearly had a neurologic condition going on & collapsed and died a few weeks later.Don't even get me started on the hold time to speak with someone. No wonder there is a constant turnover of staff.
