We have been part of the Lightbridge (Westfield) family for 8+ years now. We were part of the initial class when we enrolled our daughter in 2015. I am sad to say we will moving on from Lightbridge this June when my son ages out and will attend kindergarten. The foundation my children received from Lightbridge Academy is second to none. The greatly succeed at educating the whole child. They provided both of my children with a great academic foundation, a true sense of morals, how to be a good friend, and overall life lessons I truly believe they would not have received anywhere else. The owner (Sue Romano) is a hands-on owner who cares about her families and treats them as her own. She has gone out of her way numerous times to ensure our childrens Lightbridge experience was the best it could possibly be. We have been pleased with all of the teachers my children have encountered throughout the years. We can not say enough great things about Lightbridge Academy of Westfield and recommend it to any family looking for childcare.

Covid and the owner have ruined this daycare. Most of the wonderful employees have quit since right before covid including child handlers and directors twice over. Leaving behind a cluster of teenage and partime workers who are over worked underpaid and it shows when they spend more time on ipads than teaching the children. Closures happen fairly often with sometimes as little as 30 minutes and a text in the middle of the day to come get your child. Closures include possible bad weather, all the teachers busy with outside learning, and covid. If the owner deems your child too much work the old daycare tactic of forcing you out happens. Promises of tuition decreasing never happen and actually it raised over the years. Search and you'll find Better places around with more quality care for the kids and respect for parents and less headaches and tuition.

Our son started at LBA Westfield when he was 3 months old and we loved every single classroom and teacher he had! I changed jobs and my husband works an hour and ten minutes away so we decided to look for a comparable daycare closer to my job. We went and toured a few in the area and decided upon one after going back three to four times to make sure everything felt right. We really loved our LBA Westfield family and were nervous to make this change, especially putting our son through the change. We finally decided that we were comfortable with the more convenient daycare and switched at the beginning of the year. Fast forward 5 weeks and we have decided to come back to LBA Westfield. The director and assistant director left the new daycare on the same day about a month after we switch with no advance warning or much of an explanation. The assistant director did find another job, but there wasn’t much information about the director. We were shocked since everything had gone so smoothly during the registration process. Since then my husband and I have not be comfortable with the level of care and are bringing our son back to what we already knew (but now really know) is the beat team of individuals that work together to help us take care of our son in the best way possible.

Great school, great program and great staff. My daughter loves her school. I can tell because she gets up every morning and is ready to head to school. She literally heads to her class and goes “ bye mama “ ( heartbreaks ).But I feel at home when I leave her

This was my first time using this center for my 6 year old. I did not have a current physical on file which could have been frustrating and they could have told me to go pick up the documents needed then return and they did not. They were extremely patient with me and I was able to get the physical faxed over. My son is very verbal and says there wasn't any issue in the center. They sent me pictures of my sons activities throughout the day, he seemed to be involved with the other children he has never met before. I have nothing bad at all to say. I would use this center again.

If you are looking for a great academic day care with staff and teachers that truly care about your kids, you need to have a walk through at Light Bridge Academy in Westfield. We did extensive research in about 7 different day care facilities (Light Bridge Westfield was our first one) and from the first visit we knew this was the right place for our child.

The staff, the activities, extra programs, learning curriculum and most importantly attention to the children are second to none. My son has been with the program for over 2 years now and knows some sign language and speaks some Spanish; in addition to be highly verbal. Lightbridge Westfield runs a fantastic program.

There are many daycares to choose from in Westfield, 28 to be exact. Light bridge academy is by far above the rest. We have 2 children currently enrolled in the program. It’s amazing the advances our children have taken since being there . Hands-down life bridge academy.

My son has been attending full days for 2 years now and I have nothing but great things to say about this school. The facility is brand (3 years) new and immaculate. The classrooms are very clean, well laid out and stocked with tons of age appropriate educational toys and equipment. The director (Kerry) is very hands-on and makes sure to learn the names of not only the kids, but the parents as well. Every morning my son goes into the office to “reveal” whatever is on his shirt that morning and gives Sue (the branch owner) their secret handshake. All the teachers are fantastic! My wife and I have been thoroughly and equally pleased with each. They are well trained, nurturing and constantly promote independence. The days are packed with learning through a wide variety of arts and crafts, song and dance, science experiments and group and individual play. They also offer in-house third-party extra-curricular programs during the regular day (i.e., gymnastics, soccer, music, etc.).There are two cameras in each room and one for the playground. The monitoring service (via app or website) is offered for a small fee. Meals are provided as well. Daily activity, meals, potty and nap times, photos and videos are transmitted to the parents through the Tadpoles app which helps to remove some of the distance for working parents. All in all, the school is wonderful and my child is receiving a top rank preschool education while having a fun-filled day. This school was my first choice after site tours of the local 5 "similar" schools, but ultimately, my decision came down to the children's faces during my visit. They never lie.If you are fortunate enough to secure a spot here, I highly recommend it!

I would NOT choose this place in future if I have a second choice. What they ONLY care is money they can charge from us. My kid finished a program, graduated and we didn't sign any form to continue the program (Actually they don't even have K-program for my kid to continue). Because of our automatic payment setting, they continued to charge us for two additional month till we found it out. When I asked why they didn't let us know when they knew the kid was not attending their program anymore but paying, THE ANSWER IS THAT IS NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY (How ridiculous it is!!!). I called them to request refund a few times and the director agreed a small portion and said it was out of her pocket by fooling the parents. The staff there are not professional at all (it took a few months to get my name corrected in the system) and the teachers turn over quickly. The only good thing about the place is that the facility is new.

This daycare and staff is awesome.I get updates (with images) on my kids' status, what they're doing, when they take naps, pretty much every question I would ask of a babysitter when I get home is answered before I pick my children up.Everyone is professional and makes us feel welcomed.
