I needed new shades and blinds after a renovation and went to several stores for ideas. Doug walked through my house and had excellent ideas for each different room. They order blinds from multiple manufacturers which provided a wider variety of options and I'm very pleased with the final result.

We had plantation shutters installed by Blindworks in two bedrooms. They came out to the house for measurements and order placement and then came back about 15weeks later for install. Very knowledgeable folks. Good experience overall!

Frankly I went with this firm because they are a local business and as a small business owner myself, I chose to buy local. First, the Hunter Douglas roman shades I ordered were over priced. Additionally, the blackout shades are too heavy to be roman shales as there remains a gap at the top. The man who came to measure and show me the materials, etc. should have known that and should have advised me to buy different shades. I had him come out to address the issue and could tell he was annoyed, nonetheless he did yet there remains a gap so they are not Blackout shades.

When paying for custom blinds you would expect better customer service without an attitude when there’s an issue with a blind that was installed only three months ago.

In general, product offerings are great but their customer service needs major improvement. When you’re paying for custom blinds and there’s an issue, you expect that the issue will be rectified without an attitude.

I have used Blindworks for close to 20 years. I have always been satisfied with the assistance and the products provided by Doug and Beth. I recently had a string break on one of my Graber shades, which I had for 10 years. I brought it in to get fixed. Blindworks shipped it to Graber to repair it. However, Graber sent back a different shade that did not belong to me. My original shade could not be located and the fabric is no longer manufactured. Graber first offered to make a new shade but it would not match the other 5 windows in the room. Doug understood this problem and went back to Graber to have them make all new shades. Doug also did not charge for the installation of the new shades. I have to say that I was so impressed by both Blindworks and Graber for rectifying the unfortunate misplacement of my shade. Things happen, but it's how a business handles an issue like this that makes them worthy of our business.

He remained a consummate professional over the months that it took despite the supplier challenges we faced during this pandemic.

Doug and Beth from Blindworks were very helpful, responsible and ethical, and we are very satisfied with our blinds. At first we ordered roller shades instead of blinds. Doug was much better at finding the colors we were looking for than we were! When Doug came out to give an estimate I asked if he could stay that same day and remove all the old hardware from my many windowframes so that I would have a weeks time to sand and paint the frames before he installed the new ones. He agreed and did this work on the spot. When the rollershades arrived Doug determined that they had been shipped without the proper hardware. He tried to install them with alternative hardware and when this solution didn't work he suggested we install blinds instead of roller shades. Even though the price of the blinds would have been higher Doug offered us blinds for every room for no additional cost above what we would have paid for the roller shades. Beth was very patient with us when we returned to the store to pick colors for the blinds. Thank you Doug and Beth for your help and professionalism.

Went to another window treatment store in this area and they quoted me SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE than what Blindworks quoted for me- for the same exact windows, same exact window treatments- down to the style number. I'm so glad I called Blindworks before I gave up my search (we spoke with Doug). Glad to work with a honest company.
