The best vet I've ever seen is Dr. Danielsen. I've been taking my animals there for about 18 years, and as long as she's been my vet, she's been very sensitive to my animal's needs, while balancing sound advice to me as a pet mom. She's never trying to sell unsolicited or unnecessary services, tests, vaccines or extraneous products. He staff is very courteous, kind and sensitive, even when you're panic stricken because your pet baby is sick. Her prices have always been very reasonable. She is the only vet I'd take my animals to.

We had to have our cat put down and Dr Danielson and the tech and receptionist could not have been kinder. They were very empathetic and explained what was going on and gave us time to say goodbye.

I'll start by saying I've been coming here for over 10 years. I will be very clear if you can get in the door here don't miss your chance. These Veterinarians care about your animals like family. They are a private practice and will not treat you like a corporate animal hospital, They love what they do and finding a good vet is PRICELESS. I love Dr Danielsen And Dr Fanders! From Dogs-to-Macaws they see it all!

Dr D. And Dr Fanders are amazing! You'll never find another private owned vet in Mercer. They're the real deal. You cannot find better care in mercer. It's so good they're not even accepting new patients! I've been here since the prior owner and I will not leave! If you can get a new patient appointment don't miss out........ I promise 10/10 results.

Like the docs, but the prices for some of their pet medications is through the roof, and you aren't notified in advance. Disappointed.

My bunnies have been patients of Dr. Fanders here for about 2 years now. Rabbits require exotic vets who have tons of experience as they're different from dogs and cats. I was actually recommended to this place by a friend in the NJ Bunny Parent Group on Facebook. I had been going to Red Bank (a great place too), but the care was getting too expensive. So I am very grateful that Madison and Louis are able to be patients here. It's a small business with a small staff, but you and your pet will get the attention you deserve. Just be patient, call ahead, be nice, and you'll be fine. They're now allowing one masked guest to go inside during your appointment. It was nice to see the inside! They even have a separate waiting area for exotics. The vet is located in an older building with a quiet, woodsy, homey feel to it. There is ample parking and you just call before heading inside. The staff is kind and helpful. My girl bunny has been getting her teeth trims here for about two years by Dr. Fanders. Dr. Fanders was able to discover the teeth issues Madison was having and sent over some photos. Poor Madison had a lesion on her tongue from pointy molars/teeth. Dr. Fanders was thorough in her explantations of everything going on so I could understand how to take care of her moving forward. Two years later, Madison is doing much better, even after her most recent visit this past Monday. She hurt her front paw and needed some medicine and rest. She also received a good combing by Dr. Fanders (bonus) and is feeling so much better. For that visit, I believe that it cost $130 including her medication. Not the cheapest, but exotic vets can cost more. They accept Care Credit if you need to stretch out the payments over 6 months which is great too. On another visit last year, I had to bring in Sir Louis as he had chewed parts of my rubber slippers. Dr. Danielson had to see him as Dr. Fanders wasn't available. Luckily he was totally fine and I learned not to leave my slippers laying around. I don't believe that they're accepting new patients at this time, but that could change in the future. Anyway, this is my experience and I (not sure about Louis) am very happy with them.

This place is slow and expensive. I moved here from manhattan, and when the Bill for an annual visit is $150 more than what I pay in manhattan, that's just plain old expensive. I also waited for 50 minutes after "checking in" via the phone with no updates. I called and asked what's the status and was told that there was an emergency euthanasia. Maybe you can call so I'm not sitting in car wondering what's going on? I also saw two or three clients drop off and pick up their dogs during the time I was waiting. They were all walking just fine, so I assume those weren't the dogs that had to be euthanize right away. Within 5 mins of my calling to follow up, someone came out and got my dog. I wouldn't be surprised if they just forgot that I was waiting. 10 mins later and $440 poorer, my dog was free to go home. I'm going to find another vet. The wait was just ridiculous. You can at least call me to give me an update. Just 50 mins of silence.

I want to thank Dr Fanders and the wonderful staff at Edinburgh Animal Hospital for helping to make a bad day easier to handle. We are not regular clients but had an emergency situation with our bunny Pixie! From the first phone call to the upsetting ending of having to put our sweet Pixie down.... they were warm, understanding and so patient with us! Again thank you so much for all the love you showed my daughter and I and for the wonderful way you dealt with Pixie! Excellent veterinary hospital!!

My dog went in for a dental today. Dr. Danielson and her staff were very caring and kept me well-informed about all aspects of the procedure. I received a follow-up call inquiring about how my dog was doing. Definitely recommend!!

Dr Daniel's and Dr Fanders, along with their fantastic vet techs and staff, provide exceptional service. Edinburg is not.just a vets office it's a family experience. They saw us through 16 1/2 years with our baby boy. We were very blessed with such great care and so many years with our boy. They also helped our boy and.our family so much at the end. Expert care combined with passion and.compassion. As a fur baby parent I am confident in saying Edinburg is the place you should be!

This is the best vet clinic I have ever taken my dogs to. The care and concern shown by Dr Danielsen and Dr Fanders is exceptional. Their work is second to none!

My Basset Hound has been a patient at Edinburg for over 12 years; he's been there every year for his annual exam, as well as nail trimmings (every couple of months). This year, I completely blanked on his rabies vaccine, and called the office to make an appointment for same. I was told that they wouldn't be able to give a rabies vaccine without performing an annual exam on Tank. I felt I was being strong-armed into spending $300+ for the exam, just to get the vaccine. I most definitely would have scheduled the exam, if I didn't feel like they were holding the threat of 'no rabies vaccine' without it. The free rabies clinics will administer the vaccine without needing proof of an annual exam, so I don't understand why Tank's long-term vet would not. Maybe a rabies vaccine isn't a big money-maker, but I'm disappointed they couldn't let me just schedule that one procedure, especially with Tank being a long term patient. I miss Dr. Weeks!

I'm in love with this vet office. Both doctors are great, the staff is all so nice and fun, the place is very clean, nestled back in the quiet woods (good for animals easily spooked by traffic), and they bend over backwards for you. My first call ever, they got me in the office within a half hour to see a doctor with a new found kitten. Have since set up appointments for the existing family pets. Highly recommend!!

We've been using Dr. Danielson for at least ten years, she always has wonderful advice for new puppies, bad habits and healthy diets. I've brought my cat, and a few exotics (rats) and now my Golden Doodle and Dachshund. The staff loves animals and are always accommodating with appointments. I feel bad I didn't find this practice sooner for my previous dogs. Always have had a wonderful experience at Edinburg Animal Hospital.

I switched from my prior vet a year ago as I was looking for someone closer to home. This morning I was left regretting that decision. I had a situation with my dog that needed attention and I was told that they couldn't see him. What's the purpose of having a primary care vet doctor if they are unwilling to see the animal when a need arises? Please don't do what I did and switch vets to save 15 mins of driving time.
