Jason Baldanza and his team were incredibly attentive, making us feel supported and cared for throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself.
On our wedding day, the staff at The Grand executed everything flawlessly. Their commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of the event. They coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors, ensuring that every aspect of the event ran smoothly. Their attention to detail was impeccable, from the beautifully arranged décor to the perfectly timed schedule. They were always on hand to assist with anything we needed. They handled last-minute changes with grace, and ensured that every moment was perfect. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like royalty and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of our special day.
The catering team at The Grand deserves special mention. The catering team crafted a menu that was both delicious and beautifully presented. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the exquisite menu. The presentation was stunning, and every dish was prepared to perfection. The service was impeccable, with staff attending to our guests’ needs with grace and efficiency throughout the evening.
We are immensely and eternally grateful to The Grand, Jason, and their INCREDIBLE staff for making our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be and more. Our wedding day was a true fairy tale. Their passion, dedication, and attention to detail created an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for what they do made all the difference. “SOMA backStage Reading Series - New Musical: She Reached For Heaven the actors were great. The play was very good, albeit I would recommend that the beginning be tighten as it was a little slow. The ending also needs a little work.
It was great to be able to attend a work in progress.”
“My husband and I were hosting a unique event - an afterparty for a movie premiere. We weren’t sure where to get started, and we were so grateful that John and Trish were there to handle everything. They knew just how arrange a perfect mix of dinner/cocktail party to accommodate our large crowd. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and the setting was absolutely perfect. I enrolled my 5-year-old niece in their tumbling program in January, and she has seen significant improvements in her tumbling progress ever since. “Invited to a sweet sixteen at the Royal Manor gorgeous place for all occasions-valet parking always great, greetings by a lovely young lady at the door. The room was very nice , bathrooms very clean (important). Bartender made amazing drinks -appetizers very good tender steak and chicken skewers delicious-fried shrimps/ cocktail shrimps amazing. Buffet style dinner was so good beef and broccoli-tilapia-tortellini with white sauce-a château Brion service-Green salads. The server's were so sweet and attentive and they were young but so professional love that. So looking for an amazing venue try this one for sure.”

“Really enjoyable little nature spot. We tried to go to the New York Chinese Scholar Garden, but I don't think it was open on the day we went. So that was slightly disappointing but it's still a really cool place to walk around and be in nature. Went this past summer and I forgot how cool and vibrant green the grass was! It was a hot July day, but the trees and greenery adds a bit of a cooling sensation. I would recommend (or just giving myself advice) visiting in the spring or fall, for sure.”

This afternoon, my partner and I arrived at the Woodland, located off of Woodland Road in Maplewood, to celebrate Lunar Fest NJ 2024—Maplewood Arts & Culture. Completed in 1930, the Georgian Revival-style mansion and adjoining auditorium have been a hub for Maplewood’s vibrant cultural and civic life for over eight decades. The unique event features lion dance, performances representing Chinese, Mongolian, Thali, and Korean cultures, children's activities, and delicious food trucks, which brought out the crowd.”
