  I used to babysit for a family who sent their kids there and loved it! Then (a feeew years later) we went for a tour when we were looking for daycare for our 1 yr old. We recognized many of the same teachers there, and that was such a great sign!! So now our daughter has been going there for about 6 months, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. LOVE love love the regular updates and open communication with the teachers and administration. And our daughter comes home happy and clean and learning new songs and sign language! Really glad with the choice we made.

  My little one has been going to tutor time since she was 4 months old. The director is friendly and welcoming. The teachers are so loving and caring. My daughter has learned so much from every teacher she has had so far. Everyone who works there is amazing. The facility is clean and they always have fun activities for the kids and families to participate in. I'm so glad we chose Tutor Time for our daycare.

  We’ve been very happy with Tutor Time of West Orange for our youngest, who is now moving on to pre-k.The staff—from administrative leadership through the teachers and caregivers in individual classrooms—have been universally delightful during our enrollment. All are thoughtful, patient, helpful—and most importantly kind. It’s been wonderful—and relieving—to watch our youngest child blossom and grow under their vigilant and nurturing care.The location on Northfield Avenue is not only convenient for our family’s transportation routine, but also very close to numerous great possible post-pickup activities, being adjacent to the South Mountain Reservation and its iconic Turtle Rock (which is literally right across the street), as well as South Mountain Recreational Complex with its zoo, skating rink, playgrounds, and restaurants.I highly recommend Tutor Time for other families with young children, and encourage you to check them out!

  We had a wonderful experience at Tutor Time over the last 4 years. Our boys really thrived there. The school provided them with a healthy balance of learning, socializing, motor skill development, physical activity, FUN PLAY, and time to rest (my kids always napped comfortably and weren’t cranky when they came home! big plus!). The directors and teachers really adore the kids and do what’s best for each individual one. They are great with communication and giving daily updates. The live webcam helps a lot too. Although our preschool days are done, we look forward to their awesome summer camp program.

  My daughter went to Tutor Time from 13 mo to 4 yr old. We have always had wonderful experiences with them. Teachers are lovely, attentive and reliable. Arts and crafts are plenty. Also, there were extra activities such as Spanish and Athletics for a monthly fee. Families are also very nice. Management (Ms Katrina, Ms Rayna) are always responsive and positive. I would definitely recommend Tutor Time West Orange. Thanks Tutor Time for taking care of our baby!

  Tutor Time of West Orange has been a great school and learning environment for our daughter. Since starting, she has developed so much - learning something new every day. In fact, we are frequently surprised when she tells us a new thing she learned each day at school. The teachers and administration clearly care deeply about the students and it shows in the level of care and education they deliver. I recommend this school to any parents in the area looking for child care.I especially want to commend them on how they are handling everything during the pandemic. It's certainly no easy task to manage a school during this time. They are communicating transparently and ensuring safety is the #1 priority, all while giving the kids an "as normal as possible" school experience. I give them a big shout-out and kudos!

  We are so grateful to have found Tutor Time! We were doing preschool in NYC until the pandemic and then had our toddler home for 10 months. We realized he needed socialization and routine but were nervous about health and safety. I went on a virtual tour of Tutor Time and was happy to kids were in masks and distancing, but most importantly were smiling, happy, and having a great time. That speaks volumes. My son has been there for 2 months and it has been a Godsend. He loves his time there and every time we tune in and watch him on the in room camera, we see him having an amazing time, and being safe. My only complaint is that I wish we had done the earlier!

  My son has been at Tutor Time since a year ago and we have been very pleased with the daycare. All of the staff are very friendly and know my son by name and seem to genuinely care for all of the children. I have seen my son grow and develop very quickly and have been impressed at home with all of the things he learned each day at Tutor Time. The teachers are always available to provide feedback and let me know promptly if there is anything I need to look out for with my son. They have went through an ownership change recently and have made even more improvements such as live feed cameras in each classroom which has been such a bonus for me to check in once in a while to see how he is doing. I know that he is in a safe and loving environment each day and I couldn't ask for more.

  We have loved our experience at Tutor time West Orange! It is our son’s first school experience and he has flourished under the warm and nurturing guidance of devoted teachers and a thoughtfully designed curriculum. As an educator myself, it is clear that the facility takes the care and learning of its students seriously and our son has benefited immensely. We are so happy that we chose tutor time west orange to set him on a path for learning success!

  My three kids started attending Tutor Time last September and since then I've seen them transform and truly blossom into their own personalities. We chose Tutor Time because they had a clear focus on early child development. They had a program that was structured and had a set criteria for measuring a child's development. When we walked through the facility it gave us a sense of a well-run organization. We had visited other daycares that were just too busy and less structured. This was the reason we chose Tutor Time, but the reason we stayed was for so much more!Throughout the year we got to see our children flourish both socially and academically. My 4 year-old started to write her name on her own (without any tracing) and by May she had started writing other people's names! The staff is always helpful and all the kids know everyone in the school and they know them; from the lady that brings the food to the floater that comes when needed. Most importantly, the school is diverse so our kids are learning to get along with and understand people from different backgrounds. The enriching environment the school provides is really what made us stay.

  I've had all of my children attend Tutor Time for over a decade. Originally, Tutor Time provided a top notch curriculum, with attentive and caring teachers and knowledgeable administrators who balanced the needs of children, teachers and parents.Since they have moved to the West Orange location this has changes dramatically. Administrators have become uncaring bureaucrats who only care about money. Teachers are treated horribly (e.g. pay, verbal abuse) leading to high turnover. The student's (our children) wind up suffering.So I, like many other parents, explored other options. With great places like Little Stages and First Mountain to name just two, there are better places to send your child.
