The car was clean inside and out but it reeked of heavy cigarette smoke. It was not possible to be in it without all windows open, in December, a real pain. Wouldnt recommend any company that would deliver a car in this condition without a warning.

My husband uses Enterprise whenever we need rentals. Our experience has been great. No complaints. We travel to NJ and use the West Orange location - wonderful staff and service. We also use the Enterprise location in St. George Utah. Highly recommend both locations. Keep up the good work. We are life long customers.

The service was very good in West Orange! We had a flat tire and the Enterprise employee helped us out very well. We were not so convinced about the service of the Enterprise branches in Pennsylvania, where we got stuck. But Enterprise in West Orange showed us again that the service at Enterprise is a very good one. Thanks again to the Enterprise employee Jesenia in West Orange 85 Washington Street.

I rented the car for 12 days. On the 1st day, the tire of the car burst on the highway. I replaced it with a spare tire myself. I took it to repair but they said it cannot be repaired. I called roadside assistance and explained the situation. They said it was a system error and they couldn't help. The same problem persisted when I called again the same day. I had to stay at the hotel. The next day, they asked me to go to the nearby airport at 12 o'clock for a vehicle change. When I went, I couldn't find anyone and learned that the employees would arrive at 5 o'clock. I had to wait a long time. After 5 o'clock the vehicle was changed.As a result, I had to wait for a long time with the problem and my plans were disrupted.The only positive situation about the company was that they did not receive a 2-day payment and hotel fee for customer satisfaction while delivering the vehicle. Apart from that, the problem-solving and holding times were pretty bad.UPDATE -More than 2 weeks have passed. Nothing but a comment and an e-mail saying it would be taken care of.On top of that, today I saw that the highway toll was deducted from my credit card even though I paid cash while driving. As if the problems you have caused are not enough, you continue to cause problems after the delivery of the car. shame on you.

We rented a car for a family trip a couple weeks ago and when we picked it up, it hadn't been cleaned. The car smelled like vomit and cigars and had trash in the back seat (bags of flaming hot cheetos, gum wrappers, etc). The leather seats had a residue on them. When I called to report this, I was told a manager would reach out to me right away. He/she never did. When we returned the car (after vigorously cloroxing it ourselves) we were told a SECOND time that the manager would reach out to us. Still never did. We will never rent from here again. There doesn't seem to be an email address or easy way to reach management and they certainly don't seem in a hurry to rectify this.

This office has some very rude staff. They seem to be used to speaking to people condescendingly. I Spoke to someone named Henry. Very unprofessional and kept referring to me as "boss" right after he asked me for my name. My reservation was for Newark office but I was told by the West Orange office it would be fine for me to use the W Orange office in the morning and that they would have plenty of cars. When I called in the morning, Henry answers. Right away he was dry and condescending. I gave him my reservation # and he tells me my reservation was set with Newark. I told him I was told I would be able to get a car from W Orange. He just kept repeating in a monotone voice "your reservation was set with the Newark office." I had to keep repeating that I was told I would be ok to get a vehicle from his office. His response "I know....but I was just telling you... your reservation was set with Newark." This was the conversation for several minutes. I was so put off. He was no help at all. These people hate their job, they hate the customers and it shows completely. Expect a terrible experience.

Every single one of the workers was so kind to me and made sure I was happy with my rental experience. The insurance company didn’t make a reservation and the staff was kind enough to give me the last vehicle that they had. I wasn’t all about the mini van at 25 years old and not a mom and they said they would find a me a new one before the days end. Not only did they find me a new one but they got me a sports car convertible for the beautiful summer days we had for 3 weeks. It was better than my own car that was getting fixed at the shop! I am beyond happy with how helpful and awesome the staff was! Will come here again for future rentals and recommend to others.

The worst car rental experience I have ever had. I had made arrangements through my insurance company to pick up an SUV, when the car was brought, it was not an SUV. They had to drive me to a second location, which again the SUV this time was so smoke ridden and smelled we had to go to a third location. This is during work hours. Once we got to the third location and I was given the third car, the windshield was cracked. The transmission made very loud noises and the car was filthy. I cannot believe this company provides this type of service and product. Now I have been fighting with them for over two months to receive back a credit. When I call their offices, I am just put on hold and transferred to multiple people. This is exhausting, ridiculous, and the worst customer service I have ever received truly at any Rent-A-Car. They should be out of business. Hope this helps the next car renter.

Let me start by saying I don’t normally complain but this situation must be told about this particular branch. For starters don’t bother looking for a manager if needed one there’s never one around .second the level of customer service is very poor they are clearly working their for a pay check.third and four most under no circumstance should u have a issue with roadside assistance god help you if you do!!! The tow truck takes 4 hours to come to swap out a vehicle takes 2hours yes to sit in newark airport location for just a swap out of a vehicle terrible service I won’t recommend this type of punishment to away stay away from this company!!!!

Just left a very different review on the location in Lyndhurst. The staff at the west orange location was professional and prompt. I never had to rent a vehicle before, but the reps I dealt with were great ?

Wonderful customer service! Zhaniya was super helpful when picking up my rental. She was very attentive and made my experience great. Tavis also provided great service when dropping off the rental and made it a smooth process. If I were to rent a car again, I would definitely come back here. I highly recommend!

This is my go-to car rental company. The staff are professional and personable. Tyree went above and beyond to ensure I could keep my rental at an affordable rate after my personal vehicle was still in the autobody shop after two weeks. Brandon, the branch manager, supports his employees in making sure customers receive the best service. I have had positive experiences with multiple staff members, including Shane, Alexis, Abdul, and Tavis.

I rented a car from the location on Washington St. in The east Orange. The manger Brandon Pererira took such good care of me. I had the rental due to an accident in my car. I had the rental for 36 days the car ran great I was very satisfied with everything overall.
