“Dr Jays is a landmark of downtown and Brick City for sure! This block was most recently used as a film set of the Joker where it was transformed into 1970’s Gotham. They did not include icon names like this (at least in the trailer) for obvious reasons but it cool to see this block on the big screen!”

“I came to this boutique because when I tried to Amazon prime a gaff it wouldn’t come in time for Halloween. Normally I would use a homemade one but they typically don’t look correct under skin tight clothes. I was looking for a store in jersey where I could get one before Halloween. That’s when I discovered Glamour Boutique. So I made a day trip to Fairfield, NJ on a whim that they would have what I was looking for. The boutique was a little tricky to find as it is unmarked and hidden in the back to the right behind the gas station l. But once I found the place I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a real life hidden gem. I have to say the gentleman whom helped me out, David was super sweet and a great conversationalist. They even had wigs. I picked one up on a whim too and boy did it look real. The salesman informed me it was a Louis Ferre and that they are one of the best but we’re sadly discontinued. I’d have to say I got a lot of compliments on my hair when I wore her. Glamour Boutique transformed my 20$ costume from Walmart into a fantasy. I felt so beautiful and reaffirmed with my accessories. 10/10 would highly recommend. It is well worth the drive.”

“My partner and I popped in here the other day to find me a dress for a military event. I am terrible, and I mean terrible, at deciding not only what to wear but also whether or not something looks good on me. For instance, I've walked around town all day wearing my PJ bottoms and a tank top. Then Karen walked into our life and within minutes, I walked out with a great dress, cardigan/cocoon sweater, earrings, and an awesome magnetic bracelet. My partner gave me a thumbs up and cheesy smile which is code for... you look GOOD! I even went back today to find a top for a different event, and once again, she handed me just the right amount of choices and within minutes I had chosen a top. This shop also offers something called Jia bucks(?) which appear to be calculated based upon your receipt totals and become active on a specific date. I used mine today and they were significant enough to get me a nice discount on my top. I believe she said they just got some new items in for the season too. If I can remember, I will post a pic of the dress from our upcoming event.”

“I ordered their shampoo and conditioner about 6 weeks ago. I started using it right away. The packaging it was shipped in was beautiful. Since switching, I’ve done about 6 washes (every 4-5 days). With each wash I’ve noticed lessening hair loss, less frizz, more volume, a healthier scalp and it is growing faster than ever before. I cannot say enough good things about it or the business owner! “Soooooooo beautiful ??? where was this store years ago when I was on the hunt for modest dresses. Shurooq was a pleasure to work with. She is very knowledgeable and patient. The styles they have are very modern, classy, elegant, and they look very high quality! Some special occasion heavily beaded dresses (for weddings) were a steal , compared to similar designs I saw at Nordstrom for 2x the price, (except you don’t need to take these dresses to a tailor to add sleeves or cover the back)We came at closing so I couldn’t really try anything on but they do have a fitting room on premises . I can’t wait to return and buy all the things . What a gem and much needed addition to Main Street and an excellent asset to the hijabi/ modest community”
