At the West Orange, Valley Rd. 7-Eleven, they are dishonest! They cheat you out of your change (dollars and/or cents), and they don't like to give receipts. So, unless you can calculate quickly in your head... they'll lie to you.One worker even acted like my card didn't work, so I would use cash. Then, he tried to cheat me out of a dollar, lied about the total when I asked, acted confused like he didn't know what I was talking about, and tried to refuse giving me a receipt. On a previous occasion another worker (female) shorted my change. When I asked for "all of my change", she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about, started shrugging her shoulders & laughing, and acted like I was overreacting. Yet, she tried to charge me $1 for a bag.In addition to being thieves, the prices are different from what you get charged (sometimes by .10, .20, or about .50 cents or more). When questioned, they say, the item was in the wrong place or that "you grabbed the wrong item".When that happened to me (ONE of the times), I questioned the difference in prices (price as marked on the shelf versus the price charged at the counter) and the manager told the cashier to give me back .10 cents. Then, he yelled for the cashier to add .10 cents to all the prices and walked off. The problem is .10 cents, 10 times equals a $1. My change is MY money, NOT an entitled tip for the workers to TAKE.So, I FINALLY stopped going there. Why go to a place where you're constantly being cheated and nickel-and-dimed? I go to a different store, now. I do NOT recommend this West Orange/Valley Rd. store-location to anyone!

The quality of this store has drastically dropped. The staff are distant and not friendly or helpful. The current staff, especially overnight staff, are continuously talking amongst themselves or on their phones, or you have to get someone from the back office. This used to be a great store. Unfortunately it's the only store in my neighborhood open at 4am when I am going to work.

Ordered Uber eats from this place on a Saturday morning hungover trying to save myself a trip to the store literally dehydrated to the max. Waited an hour for 4 items to come in. ( Gingerale, Gum, croissant and a 24 pack of water ). Somehow I was sent a gingerale, no water, two gums and a donut. I'm not sure how they came up with the conclusion but I was definitely pissed upon waking up to the notification that my order is here and seeing that I now had to leave my house in the cold to go get my own water. It's really couldn't be that hard.

Dirtiest 7-Eleven i have ever seen. Rats running around the food and the staff is absolute garbage. People like this come into our community and dont even respect us yet we give them our money. Do not go to this 7-Eleven. Let the owners suffer financially till they step it up. Or let them fail and shut down. Take our respect back by taking our money elsewhere that our patronage is appreciated. These people who own and operate this place are just vultures living off our people. But they hate us all. Wish i could rate "No Stars"

If I could leave no stars I would. This place is always crowded, dirty, never stocked. The employees bad so rude. The only reason why I go in sometimes is because it's open late but never fails they never have cups. What a joke!

A good portion of the staff that works here are rude. They don't say hello or ever respond back when you say hello How are you. Or have a good day. They're always doing something else while checking you out at the register. 7/11 is supposed to have coffee 24/7 like they advertise. This one never does.

My girlfriend and I were racially profiled and accused of stealing while at the register to pay for our items. The 2 cashiers demanded to look inside our bags before not allowing us to make a purchase. After looking through all our personal items, we did not receive an apology nor were we treated like humans.

Literally the only 7-11 open 24/7 so if the cashiers are rude they are there all the time and I appreciate that .
